Siosiua 12

1 Ko e ngaahi tuʻi eni ʻoe fonua, ʻaia naʻe taaʻi ʻe he fānau ʻa ʻIsileli, ʻonau maʻu honau fonua ʻi he kauvai ʻe taha ʻo Sioatani ʻo hanga ki he hopoʻangalaʻā, mei he vaitafe ko ʻAlanoni ʻo aʻu ki he moʻunga ko Heamoni, pea mo e toafa kotoa pē ʻi he potu hahake:

And these [are] kings of the land whom the sons of Israel have struck, and possess their land beyond the Jordan, at the sun-rising, from the Brook of Arnon to Mount Hermon, and all the plain eastward:

Sihon, king of the Amorite, who is dwelling in Heshbon, ruling from Aroer which [is] on the border of the Brook of Arnon, and the middle of the brook, and half of Gilead, and to the Brook of Jabok, the border of the sons of Ammon;

3 Pea mei he toafa ki he tahi ʻo Kineloti ʻi he potu hahake, ʻo aʻu ki he tahi ʻoe toafa, ʻio, ʻae tahi kona ʻi he potu hahake, ko e hala ki Pete-sesimoti: pea mei he potu tonga, ʻi lalo ʻi ʻAsitoti-pisika:

and the plain to the Sea of Chinneroth eastward, and to the Sea of the Plain (the Salt Sea) eastward, the way to Beth-Jeshimoth, and from the south under the Springs of Pisgah.

4 Mo e ngaahi mata fonua ʻo Oki ko e tuʻi ʻo Pesani, ʻaia naʻe toe ia ʻi he kakai lalahi, pea naʻe nofo ʻi ʻAsitelote, pea ki ʻEtilei,

And the border of Og king of Bashan (of the remnant of the Rephaim), who is dwelling in Ashtaroth and in Edrei,

5 Pea naʻe pule ia ʻi he moʻunga ko Heamoni, pea ʻi Salika, pea ʻi Pesani kotoa pē, ʻo aʻu ki he ngataʻanga ʻoe fonua ʻoe kau Kesuli mo e kau Meekati, mo hono vaeuaʻanga ʻa Kiliati, ko e ngataʻanga ʻo Sihoni ko e tuʻi ʻo Hesiponi.

and ruling in Mount Hermon, and in Salcah, and in all Bashan, to the border of the Geshurite, and the Maachathite, and the half of Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.

6 Naʻe teʻia ʻakinautolu ʻe Mōsese ko e tamaioʻeiki ʻa Sihova mo e fānau ʻa ʻIsileli: pea naʻe foaki ia ʻe Mōsese ko e tamaioʻeiki ʻa Sihova ki he faʻahinga ʻo Lupeni, mo e faʻahinga ʻo Kata, mo hono vaeuaʻanga ʻoe faʻahinga ʻo Manase ko honau tofiʻa.

Moses, servant of YHWH, and the sons of Israel have struck them, and Moses, servant of YHWH, gives it—a possession to the Reubenite, and to the Gadite, and to the half of the tribe of Manasseh.

7 Pea ko e ngaahi tuʻi eni ʻoe fonua ʻaia naʻe taaʻi ʻe Siosiua mo e fānau ʻa ʻIsileli, ʻi he potu ni ʻo Sioatani ʻi he lulunga, mei Peali kata ʻi he teleʻa ʻo Lepanoni ʻo aʻu ki he moʻunga ko Halaki, ʻaia ʻoku ʻalu hake ki Seia; ʻaia naʻe foaki ʻe Siosiua ki he ngaahi faʻahinga ʻo ʻIsileli ko honau tofiʻa ʻo fakatatau ki honau ngaahi vahe;

And these [are] kings of the land whom Joshua and the sons of Israel have struck beyond the Jordan westward, from Ba‘al-Gad, in the Valley of Lebanon, and to the Mount of Halak, which is going up to Seir; and Joshua gives it to the tribes of Israel—a possession according to their divisions;

8 ‌ʻI he ngaahi moʻunga, pea ʻi he ngaahi teleʻa, pea ʻi he ngaahi toafa, pea ʻi he ngaahi matavai, pea ʻi he vao lahi, pea ʻi he fonua ki he potu tonga; ko e kau Heti, ko e kau ʻAmoli, mo e kau Kēnani, ko e kau Pelesi, mo e kau Hevi, mo e kau Sepusi.

in the hill-country, and in the low country, and in the plain, and in the springs, and in the wilderness, and in the south; the Hittite, the Amorite, and the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:

9 Ko e tuʻi ʻo Seliko, ko e taha; ko e tuʻi ʻo ʻAi, ʻaia ʻoku ʻi he potu ʻo Peteli, ko e taha;

the king of Jericho, one; the king of Ai, which [is] beside Bethel, one;

10 Ko e tuʻi ʻo Selūsalema, ko e taha ko e tuʻi ʻo Hepeloni, ko e taha:

the king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one;

11 Ko e tuʻi ʻo Samuti, ko e taha; ko e tuʻi ʻo Lakisi, ko e taha;

the king of Jarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one;

12 Ko e tuʻi ʻo Ekeloni, ko e taha; ko e tuʻi ʻo Kesa, ko e taha;

the king of Eglon, one; the king of Gezer, one;

13 Ko e tuʻi ʻo Tipa, ko e taha; ko e tuʻi ʻo Kita, ko e taha;

the king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one;

14 Ko e tuʻi ʻo Hoama, ko e taha; ko e tuʻi ʻo ʻAlati, ko e taha;

the king of Hormah, one; the king of Arad, one;

15 Ko e tuʻi ʻo Lipina, ko e taha; ko e tuʻi ʻo ʻAtulami, ko e taha;

the king of Libnah, one; the king of Adullam, one;

16 Ko e tuʻi ʻo Maketa, ko e taha; ko e tuʻi ʻo Peteli, ko e taha;

the king of Mekkedah, one; the king of Beth-El, one;

17 Ko e tuʻi ʻo Tapua, ko e taha; ko e tuʻi ʻo Hefeli, ko e taha;

the king of Tappuah, one; the king of Hepher, one;

18 Ko e tuʻi ʻo ʻEfeki, ko e taha; ko e tuʻi ʻo Lesaloni, ko e taha;

the king of Aphek, one; the king of Lasharon, one;

19 Ko e tuʻi ʻo Matoni, ko e taha; ko e tuʻi ʻo Hasoa, ko e taha;

the king of Madon, one; the king of Hazor, one;

20 Ko e tuʻi ʻo Similoni-miloni, ko e taha; ko e tuʻi ʻo ʻAkisafi, ko e taha;

the king of Shimron-Meron, one; the king of Achshaph, one;

21 Ko e tuʻi ʻo Tenaki, ko e taha; ko e tuʻi ʻo Mikito, ko e taha;

the king of Taanach, one; the king of Megiddo, one;

22 Ko e tuʻi ʻo Ketesi, ko e taha ko e tuʻi ʻo Sokiniami ʻo Kāmeli, ko e taha;

the king of Kedesh, one; the king of Jokneam of Carmel, one;

23 Ko e tuʻi ʻo Toa ʻi he potu ko Toa, ko e taha; ko e tuʻi ʻoe ngaahi puleʻanga ʻo Kilikali ko e taha;

the king of Dor, at the elevation of Dor, one; the king of the nations of Gilgal, one;

24 Ko e tuʻi ʻo Tilisa, ko e taha: ko e ngaahi tuʻi kotoa pē ko e toko tolungofulu ma tokotaha.

the king of Tirzah, one; all the kings [are] thirty-one.
