1 Pea ʻi hono tolu ʻoe ʻaho, naʻe ai ʻae taʻane ʻi Kena ʻi Kāleli; pea naʻe ʻi ai ʻae faʻē ʻa Sisu:
And the thridde dai weddyngis weren maad in the Cane of Galilee; and the modir of Jhesu was there.
2 Pea naʻe tala ʻae taʻane kia Sisu, pea mo ʻene kau ākonga.
And Jhesus was clepid, and hise disciplis, to the weddyngis.
3 Pea ʻi he toe siʻi ʻae uaine, pea pehē ʻe he faʻē ʻa Sisu kiate ia, “ʻOku ʻikai haʻanau uaine.”
And whanne wijn failide, the modir of Jhesu seide to hym, Thei han not wijn.
4 Pea pehēange ʻe Sisu kiate ia, “Fefine, ko e hā au kiate koe?” ʻOku teʻeki ai hokosia hoku ʻaho.
And Jhesus seith to hir, What to me and to thee, womman? myn our cam not yit.
5 Pea pehē ʻe heʻene faʻē ki he kau tauhi, “Ko e meʻa kotoa pē te ne fekau kiate kimoutolu, fai [ia].”
His modir seith to the mynystris, What euere thing he seie to you, do ye.
6 Pea naʻe tuʻu ʻi ai ʻae hina vai maka ʻe ono, ʻo fakatatau ki he anga ʻoe fakamaʻa fakaSiu, ko e pate ʻe ua pe tolu hono lahi.
And there weren set `sixe stonun cannes, aftir the clensyng of the Jewis, holdynge ech tweyne ether thre metretis.
7 Pea pehē ʻe Sisu kiate kinautolu, “Fakafonu ʻae ngaahi hina vai ʻi he vai.” Pea naʻa nau fakapito ngutungutu ia.
And Jhesus seith to hem, Fille ye the pottis with watir. And thei filliden hem, vp to the mouth.
8 Pea fekau ʻe ia kiate kinautolu, “Fakatafe leva, ʻo ʻatu ki he pule ʻoe kātoanga.” Pea naʻa nau ʻatu [ia].
And Jhesus seide to hem, Drawe ye now, and bere ye to the architriclyn. And thei baren.
9 Pea kuo kamata ʻe he pule ʻoe kātoanga ki he vai kuo liliu ko e uaine, kae ʻikai ʻilo ia pe ko e meʻa mei fē: (ka naʻe ʻilo ʻe he kau tauhi naʻa nau fakatafe ʻae vai; ) pea ui ʻae pule ʻoe kātoanga ki he tangata taʻane,
And whanne the architriclyn hadde tastid the watir maad wiyn, and wiste not wherof it was, but the mynystris wisten that drowen the watir, the architriclyn clepith the spouse,
10 ‌ʻO ne pehē ki ai, “ʻOku tomuʻa ʻomi ʻe he tangata kotoa pē ʻae uaine lelei, pea ka lahilahingalelei ʻae inu ʻae kakai, ʻoku toki [ʻomi ]ʻa ia ʻoku kovi: [ka ] kuo ke tuku ʻae uaine lelei ki mui ni.”
and seith to hym, Ech man settith first good wiyn, and whanne men ben fulfillid, thanne that that is worse; but thou hast kept the good wiyn `in to this tyme.
11 Naʻe fai ʻe Sisu ʻene fuofua mana ni ʻi Kena ʻi Kāleli, ʻo ne fakahā ai hono nāunau; pea naʻe tui ʻene kau ākonga kiate ia.
Jhesus dide this the bigynnyng of signes in the Cane of Galilee, and schewide his glorie; and hise disciplis bileueden in hym.
12 Hili eni, naʻe ʻalu ia ki Kapaneume, ʻa ia, mo ʻene faʻē, mo hono kāinga, mo ʻene kau ākonga: pea naʻe ʻikai te nau ʻaho lahi ai.
Aftir these thingis he cam doun to Cafarnaum, and his modir, and hise britheren, and hise disciplis; and thei dwelliden `there not many daies.
13 Pea kuo ofi ʻa e [kātoanga ʻoe ]Lakaatu ʻoe kakai Siu, pea ʻalu hake ʻa Sisu ki Selūsalema,
And the pask of Jewis was nyy, and Jhesus wente vp to Jerusalem.
14 ‌ʻO ne ʻilo ʻi he falelotu lahi ʻae kau fakatau fanga pulu mo e sipi mo e lupe, pea mo e nofo ʻi ai ʻae kau fetongi paʻanga.
And he foond in the temple men sillynge oxun, and scheep, and culueris, and chaungeris sittynge.
15 Pea naʻa ne ngaohi ha meʻa tā ʻaki ʻae afo tuʻo iiki, ʻo ne kapusi ʻakinautolu kotoa pē mei he falelotu lahi, mo e fanga sipi, mo e fanga pulu; ʻo ne lilingi ʻae ngaahi paʻanga ʻae kau fetongi, pea fulihi ʻae ngaahi palepale;
And whanne he hadde maad as it were a scourge of smale cordis, he droof out alle of the temple, and oxun, and scheep; and he schedde the money of chaungeris, and turnede vpsedoun the boordis.
16 Mo ne pehē kiate kinautolu naʻe fakatau lupe, “ʻAve ʻae ngaahi meʻa ni ʻi heni: ʻoua ʻe ngaohi ʻae fale ʻo ʻeku Tamai ko e fale fakatau.”
And he seide to hem that selden culueris, Take awei fro hennus these thingis, and nyle ye make the hous of my fadir an hous of marchaundise.
17 Pea naʻe manatu ai ʻene kau ākonga kuo tohi, “Kuo u ʻosiʻosiloto ʻi he fai feinga ki ho fale.”
And hise disciplis hadden mynde, for it was writun, The feruent loue of thin hous hath etun me.
18 Pea leaange ʻae kau Siu, ʻo pehē kiate ia, “Ko e hā ʻae fakaʻilonga ʻoku ke fakahā kiate kimautolu, koeʻuhi ʻi hoʻo fai ʻae ngaahi meʻa ni?”
Therfor the Jewis answeriden, and seiden to hym, What token schewist thou to vs, that thou doist these thingis?
19 Pea leaange ʻa Sisu, ʻo pehē kiate kinautolu, “Veteki ʻae fale ni, pea te u fokotuʻu hake ia ʻi he ʻaho ʻe tolu.”
Jhesus answerde, and seide to hem, Vndo ye this temple, and in thre daies Y schal reise it.
20 Pea talaange ʻe he kau Siu, “Ko e taʻu ʻe fāngofulu ma ono mo e langa ʻoe fale ni, pea te ke faʻa fokotuʻu hake ia ʻi he ʻaho ʻe tolu?”
Therfor the Jewis seiden to hym, In fourti and sixe yeer this temple was bildid, and schalt thou in thre daies reise it?
21 Ka naʻe lea ia ki he fale ko hono sino.
But he seide of the temple of his bodi.
22 Ko ia ʻi he hili ʻene tuʻu hake mei he mate, naʻe manatu ʻene kau ākonga, naʻa ne lea ʻaki eni kiate kinautolu; pea ne nau tui ki he tohi, mo ia naʻe lea ʻaki ʻe Sisu.
Therfor whanne he was risun fro deeth, hise disciplis hadden mynde, that he seide these thingis of his bodi; and thei bileueden to the scripture, and to the word that Jhesus seide.
23 Pea ʻi heʻene ʻi Selūsalema ʻi he [kātoanga ʻoe ]Lakaatu naʻe tui ʻae tokolahi ki hono huafa lolotonga ʻae kātoanga, ʻi heʻenau mamata ki he ngaahi mana naʻa ne fai.
And whanne Jhesus was at Jerusalem in pask, in the feeste dai, many bileueden in his name, seynge his signes that he dide.
24 Ka naʻe ʻikai falala atu ʻa Sisu kiate kinautolu, koeʻuhi naʻa ne ʻiloʻi ʻakinautolu kotoa pē.
But Jhesus trowide not hym silf to hem, for he knewe alle men;
25 Pea naʻe ʻikai ʻaonga ke fakaʻilo ʻe ha taha [kiate ia ]ha meʻa ʻi he tangata: he naʻa ne ʻiloʻi ʻae loto ʻoe tangata.
and for it was not nede to hym, that ony man schulde bere witnessyng, for he wiste, what was in man.
