< Siope 32 >
1 Naʻe tuku ai ʻe he kau tangata ʻe toko tolu ni ʻenau lea atu kia Siope, koeʻuhi naʻe māʻoniʻoni ia ʻi hono mata ʻoʻona.
And they ceased [the] three the men these from answering Job for he [was] righteous in own eyes his.
2 Pea naʻe tupu ʻae ʻita ʻa Elihu ko e foha ʻo Palakela ko e tangata Pusa, ʻi he kāinga ʻo Lame: naʻe tupu ʻene ʻita kia Siope, koeʻuhi naʻa ne fakatonuhiaʻi ia ʻe ia kae ʻikai ko e ʻOtua.
And it burned [the] anger of - Elihu [the] son of Barakel the Buzite from [the] clan of Ram on Job it burned anger his because justified he self his more than God.
3 Naʻe ʻita foki ia ki hono kāinga ʻe toko tolu, koeʻuhi naʻe ʻikai te nau faʻa talia ʻa Siope, ka kuo nau talatalaakiʻi ia.
And on [the] three companions his it burned anger his on that not they had found an answer and they had condemned as guilty Job.
4 Ka naʻe tatali ʻa Elihu kaeʻoua ke ʻosi ʻae lea ʻa Siope, koeʻuhi naʻa nau motuʻa ʻiate ia.
And Elihu he had waited Job in words for [were] old they more than him to days.
5 Pea ʻi he vakai ʻa Elihu kuo ʻikai ha tali ʻi he ngutu ʻoe kau tangata ʻe toko tolu ni, naʻe tupu ʻene ʻita.
And he saw Elihu that there not [was] an answer in [the] mouth of [the] three the men and it burned anger his.
And he answered - Elihu [the] son of Barakel the Buzite and he said [am] young I to days and you [are] aged there-fore I was anxious and I was afraid - from telling knowledge my you.
7 Ne u pehē, ‘ʻE lea ʻae ngaahi ʻaho, pea ʻe akonekina ke poto ʻe he ngaahi taʻu lahi.’
I said days let them speak and abundance of years let them make known wisdom.
8 Ka ʻoku ai ʻae laumālie ʻi he tangata, pea ʻoku foaki kiate ia ʻae ʻilo lahi ʻe he fakamānava ʻae Māfimafi.
Nevertheless [is the] spirit it in a person and [the] breath of [the] Almighty [which] it gives understanding them.
9 ʻOku ʻikai poto ʻae houʻeiki kotoa pē, pea ʻoku ʻikai ʻilo ʻe he mātuʻa ʻae fakamaau.
Not many [people] they are wise and old [people] they understand justice.
Therefore I say listen! to me I will tell knowledge my also I.
Here! I waited for words your I gave ear to understanding your until you searched for! words.
12 ʻIo, ne u tokangaʻi ʻakimoutolu, pea vakai, kuo ʻikai ha taha ʻiate kimoutolu kuo ne lavaʻi ʻa Siope, pe tali ʻene ngaahi lea:
And to you I showed myself attentive and there! there not Job [was one who] rebuked [was one who] answered words his any of you.
13 Telia naʻa mou pehē, ‘Kuo mau ʻiloʻi ʻae poto: ʻoku lī hifo ia ʻe he ʻOtua, kae ʻikai ko e tangata.’
Lest you should say we have found wisdom God let him drive about him not a human.
And not he has arranged against me words and with words your not I will respond to him.
They are dismayed not they have answered again they have moved away from them words.
16 Pea kuo u tatali, (he naʻe ʻikai te nau lea, kae tutuʻu pe, ʻo ʻikai toe lea: )
And will I wait? that not they speak that they have stood not they have answered again.
I will answer also I part my I will tell knowledge my also I.
18 He ʻoku ou pito ʻi he ngaahi lea, ʻoku fakangaueʻi au ʻe hoku laumālie.
For I am full words it has constrained me [the] spirit of belly my.
19 Vakai, ʻoku tatau hoku loto mo e uaine taʻehanoava; ʻo hangē ko e ngaahi hina ʻoe uaine foʻou, ʻoku toe siʻi pea mahaehae.
Here! belly my [is] like wine [which] not it is opened like wineskins new it will be split open.
20 Te u lea kau fiemālie: te u faʻai hoku loungutu ʻo tali.
Let me speak and it may be relieved to me let me open lips my so I may answer.
May not please I lift up [the] face of anyone and to anyone not I will use flattery.
22 He ʻoku ʻikai te u ʻilo ke ʻai ʻae hingoa lapu; telia naʻa ʻave fakavave ai au ʻe hoku Tupuʻanga.
For not I know I will use flattery like a little he will carry away me [the one who] made me.
