< Selemaia 51 >
1 ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova; “Vakai, te u fakatupu ha matangi fakaʻauha ki Papilone, pea mo kinautolu ʻoku nofo ʻi ai, ʻakinautolu ʻoku angatuʻu kiate au;
Thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in the heart of those that rise against me, a destroying wind;
2 Pea te u fekau ki Papilone ʻae kau tangata vahevahe kafukafu, pea te nau aloalo ia, pea te nau fakamaha hono fonua: he te nau nofo takatakai ʻiate ia ʻi he ʻaho ʻoe mamahi.
and I will send unto Babylon strangers, who shall fan her, and shall empty her land: for in the day of trouble they shall be against her round about.
3 Pea ʻe teke ʻae kaufana ʻae tangata fakakaufana ki he tangata fakakaufana, pea kiate ia ʻoku hiki hake ia ʻi hono kofu tau: pea ʻoua naʻa mamae ki hono kau talavou; fakaʻauha ʻaupito ʻa ʻene kautau kotoa pē.
Against him that bendeth let the archer bend his bow, and against him that lifteth himself up in his coat of mail; and spare not her young men: destroy utterly all her host.
4 ʻE tō pehē ʻae teʻia ʻi he fonua ʻo Kalitia, pea mo kinautolu kuo hokaʻi ke ʻasi ʻi he ngaahi hala.
And the slain shall fall in the land of the Chaldeans, and they that are thrust through in her streets.
5 He naʻe ʻikai liʻaki ʻa ʻIsileli, pe ko Siuta ʻe hono ʻOtua, ko Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau; neongo hono pito honau fonua ʻi he angahala ki he tokotaha māʻoniʻoni ʻo ʻIsileli.
For Israel is not forsaken, nor Judah of his God, of Jehovah of hosts; for their land is full of guilt against the Holy One of Israel.
6 Mou hola mei loto Papilone, pea fakahaofi ʻe he tangata taki taha ʻa ʻene moʻui: ke ʻoua naʻa fakaʻauha ʻakimoutolu ʻi heʻene hia: he ko e kuonga eni ʻoe houhau ʻo Sihova: te ne ʻatu kiate ia ʻae totongi.
Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and save every man his life; be ye not cut off in her iniquity: for this is the time of Jehovah's vengeance: he shall render unto her a recompence.
7 Ko Papilone ko e ipu koula ʻi he nima ʻo Sihova, ʻaia naʻe fakakonā ʻa māmani kotoa pē: kuo inu ʻae ngaahi puleʻanga ki heʻene uaine; ko ia kuo faha ai ʻae ngaahi puleʻanga.
Babylon hath been a golden cup in Jehovah's hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunk of her wine; therefore have the nations become mad.
8 Kuo hinga pea ʻauha fakafokifā ʻa Papilone: mou tangi kalanga koeʻuhi ko ia; pea ʻange ʻae feau koeʻuhi ko ʻene mamahi, heiʻilo ʻe fakamoʻui ia.
Babylon is suddenly fallen and ruined. Howl over her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.
9 Naʻa mau fie fakamoʻui ʻa Papilone, ka ʻoku ʻikai te ne moʻui: liʻaki ia, pea ke tau taki taha ʻalu ki hono fonua: he kuo aʻu ʻa hono tautea ki he langi, pea kuo hiki hake ia ki he ngaahi ʻao.
We have treated Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country; for her judgment reacheth unto the heavens, and is lifted up to the skies.
10 Kuo fakahā ʻe Sihova ʻetau angatonu: ‘Haʻu ke tau fakahā ʻi Saione ʻae ngāue ʻa Sihova ko hotau ʻOtua.’
Jehovah hath brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us declare in Zion the work of Jehovah our God.
11 Fakangingila ʻae ngaahi ngahau, pea tānaki ʻae ngaahi fakaū: kuo ueʻi ʻe Sihova ʻae laumālie ʻoe ngaahi tuʻi ʻo Mitia: he kuo ne tokanga ki Papilone ke fakaʻauha ia; koeʻuhi ko e houhau ia ʻo Sihova, ko e totongi koeʻuhi ko hono fale tapu.
Sharpen the arrows; take the shields. Jehovah hath stirred up the spirit of the kings of the Medes; for his purpose is against Babylon, to destroy it; for this is the vengeance of Jehovah, the vengeance of his temple.
12 “Fokotuʻu ʻae fuka ki he ngaahi ʻā ʻo Papilone, fokotuʻu ʻae kau leʻo mālohi, fakanofo ʻae kau tangata leʻo, teuteu ʻae ngaahi malumu:” he kuo tokanga ʻa Sihova pea kuo fai ʻaia naʻa ne folofolaʻaki ki he kakai ʻo Papilone.
Lift up a banner towards the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set the watchmen, prepare the ambushes; for Jehovah hath both devised and done that which he spoke against the inhabitants of Babylon.
13 ʻA koe ʻoku ke nofo ʻi he ngaahi vai lahi, pea mohu koloaʻia, kuo hokosia ho ngataʻanga, pea mo e fuofua ʻo hoʻo manumanu.
Thou that dwellest upon many waters, abundant in treasures, thine end is come, the measure of thy rapacity.
14 Kuo fuakava ʻa Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau ʻiate ia pe, ʻo pehē, ‘Ko e moʻoni te u fakapito ʻaki koe ʻae kau tangata, ʻo hangē ko e fanga ʻunufe; pea te nau fai ʻae kalanga kiate koe.’
Jehovah of hosts hath sworn by himself, I will assuredly fill thee with men, as with caterpillars; and they shall raise a shout against thee.
15 “Kuo ne ngaohi ʻae kelekele ʻaki hono mālohi, pea kuo ne fokotuʻumaʻu ʻa māmani ʻi heʻene poto, pea kuo ne folahi atu ʻae ngaahi langi ʻi heʻene ʻiloʻilo.
He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his understanding.
16 ʻOka hiki hake ʻe ia hono leʻo ʻoku ai ʻae vai lahi ʻi he langi; pea ʻoku ne pule ke ʻalu hake ʻae ngaahi kakapu mei he ngaahi ngataʻanga ʻo māmani: ʻoku ne ngaohi ʻae ʻuhila mo e ʻuha, pea ʻomi ʻae matangi mei hono ngaahi feleoko.
When he uttereth his voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the end of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.
17 ʻOku vale ʻae tangata taki taha ʻi heʻene ʻilo; ʻoku mā ʻae tufunga taki taha ʻi heʻene meʻa fakatātā kuo tā: he ko e fakatātā kuo haka ko e loi ia, pea ʻoku ʻikai ha mānava ʻiate kinautolu.
Every man is become brutish, so as to have no knowledge; every founder is put to shame by the graven image, for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.
18 Ko e vaʻinga ʻakinautolu, ko e ngāue ʻae kau hē: ʻe ʻauha ʻakinautolu ʻi he ʻaho ʻo honau ʻaʻahi.
They are vanity, a work of delusion: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.
19 ʻOku ʻikai tatau mo kinautolu ʻae ʻinasi ʻo Sēkope; he ʻoku muʻa ia ʻi he ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē: pea ko e tokotoko ʻo hono tofiʻa ʻa ʻIsileli: ko Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau hono huafa.
The portion of Jacob is not like them; for it is he that hath formed all things: and [Israel] is the rod of his inheritance: Jehovah of hosts is his name.
20 “Ko koe ko hoku toki ke tau ʻaki mo ʻeku mahafutau: he te u laiki ʻaki koe ke momo ʻae ngaahi fonua, pea te u fakaʻauha ʻaki ko e ngaahi puleʻanga;
Thou art my maul, [my] weapons of war: and with thee I will break in pieces the nations, and I will with thee destroy kingdoms;
21 Pea te u laiki ʻaki koe ʻae hoosi mo e tangata ʻoku heka ai; pea teu laiki ʻaki koe ʻae saliote mo e tangata ʻoku heka ai;
and with thee I will break in pieces the horse and his rider; and with thee I will break in pieces the chariot and its driver;
22 Pea te u laiki ʻaki koe foki ʻae tangata mo e fefine; pea te u laiki ʻaki koe ʻaia ʻoku motuʻa mo e tamasiʻi; pea te u laiki ʻaki koe ʻae talavou pea mo e taʻahine.
and with thee will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces old and young; and with thee will I break in pieces the young man and the maid;
23 Pea te u laiki ʻaki koe ʻae tauhi mo ʻene fanga sipi; pea te u laiki ʻaki koe ʻae tangata ngoue mo ʻene fanga manu; pea te u laiki ʻaki koe ʻae houʻeiki mo e kau pule.
and with thee will I break in pieces the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break in pieces governors and rulers.
24 “Pea te u totongi ki Papilone pea mo e kakai kotoa pē ʻo Kalitia ʻae kovi kotoa pē kuo nau fai ki Saione ʻi homou ʻao,” ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova.
And I will render unto Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea, in your sight, all their evil which they have done in Zion, saith Jehovah.
25 “ʻE moʻunga faʻa fakaʻauha, vakai, ʻoku ou tuʻu kiate koe,” ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova, “a koe ʻoku fakaʻauha ʻa māmani kotoa pē: pea te u mafao atu hoku nima kiate koe, pea fakateka koe ki lalo mei he ngaahi makatuʻu, pea te u ngaohi koe ko e moʻunga vela.
Behold, I am against thee, mount of destruction, saith Jehovah, which destroyest all the earth; and I will stretch out my hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burning mountain.
26 Pea ʻe ʻikai te nau toʻo meiate koe ʻae maka ke tuliki ʻaki, pe ha maka ke tuʻunga ʻaki; ka te ke lala pe ʻo taʻengata,” ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova.
And they shall not take of thee a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations; for thou shalt be desolate for ever, saith Jehovah.
27 “Mou fokotuʻu ʻae fuka ʻi he fonua, ifi ʻae meʻalea ʻi he ngaahi puleʻanga, teuteu ʻae kakai ke tauʻi ia, ui ke fakataha kiate ia ʻae ngaahi puleʻanga ko ʻAlalate, mo Minai, mo ʻAsikenasi; fakanofo kiate ia ʻae pule; fekau ke haʻu kiate ia ʻae fanga hoosi ʻo hangē ko e fanga ʻunufe felefele.
Lift up a banner in the land, blow the trumpet among the nations, prepare nations against her; call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashkenaz; appoint a captain against her; cause the horses to come up as the bristly caterpillars.
28 Teuteu kiate ia ʻae ngaahi puleʻanga, mo e ngaahi tuʻi ʻo Mitia, mo hono ngaahi ʻeikitau, mo hono kau pule kotoa pē, pea mo e fonua kotoa pē ʻo honau puleʻanga.
Prepare nations against her, the kings of the Medes, their governors and all their rulers, yea, all the land of their dominion.
29 Pea ʻe tetetete ʻae fonua pea mamahi ia: koeʻuhi ʻe fakahoko ki Papilone ʻae tuʻutuʻuni kotoa pē ʻa Sihova, ke ngaohi ʻae fonua ko Papilone ke lala taʻehanokakai.
And the land trembleth and is in pain; for the purposes of Jehovah against Babylon do stand, to make the land of Babylon a desolation, without inhabitant.
30 ʻOku ʻikai tau ʻae kau tangata mālohi ʻo Papilone, kuo nau nofo ʻi honau ngaahi potu mālohi: kuo mole ʻenau mālohi; kuo nau liliu ʻo hangē ko e kau fefine: kuo tutu honau ngaahi nofoʻanga; kuo fesiʻi honau ngaahi fakamaʻu.
The mighty men of Babylon have ceased to fight, they are sitting in the fortresses; their might hath failed, they are become as women: they have set her dwelling places on fire; her bars are broken.
31 E lele ʻae tangata talafekau ʻe taha, pea ʻe fakafetaulaki ʻae tangata ongoongo mo e tangata ongoongo, ke tala ki he tuʻi ʻo Papilone, kuo lavaʻi ʻene kolo mei hono ngataʻanga,
Courier runneth to meet courier, and messenger to meet messenger, to announce to the king of Babylon that his city is taken from end to end;
32 Pea kuo tāpuni ʻae ngaahi hala, pea kuo tutu ʻae kaho ʻaki ʻae afi, pea kuo ilifia ʻae kau tangata tau.
and the passages are seized, and the reedy places are burnt with fire, and the men of war are affrighted.
33 He ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau, ko e ʻOtua ʻo ʻIsileli; “ʻOku tatau ʻae taʻahine ʻo Papilone mo e hahaʻanga; kuo hokosi ʻae ʻaho ke haha ia: ʻe toetoe siʻi pea ʻe hoko kiate ia hono ututaʻu.
For thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing-floor, at the time of its being trodden; yet a little while, and the time of harvest shall come for her.
Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon hath devoured me, he hath crushed me, he hath made me an empty vessel; he hath swallowed me up like a dragon, he hath filled his belly with my delicates, he hath cast me out.
35 ʻE pehē ʻe he kakai ʻo Saione, “ʻE hoko ki Papilone, ʻae fakamālohi kuo fai kiate au mo hoku kakano:” pea ʻe pehē ʻe Selūsalema, “Ke ʻi he kakai ʻo Kalitia ʻa hoku toto.”
The violence done to me and to my flesh be upon Babylon, shall the inhabitress of Zion say; and, My blood be upon the inhabitants of Chaldea, shall Jerusalem say.
36 Ko ia ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova, Vakai, te u langomakiʻi koe, pea te u tautea koeʻuhi ko koe; pea te u fakatafe ke maha hono tahi, pea te u fakamaha hono ngaahi matavai.
Therefore thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I will plead thy cause, and take vengeance for thee; and I will dry up her sea, and make her spring dry.
37 Pea ʻe hoko ʻa Papilone ko e potu tokatāmaki, ko e nofoʻanga ʻoe fanga talākoni, ko e meʻa fakaofo, ko e meʻa fakaʻiseʻisa, pea ʻe ʻikai ʻi ai ha kakai.
And Babylon shall become heaps, a dwelling-place of jackals, an astonishment, and a hissing, without inhabitant.
38 Pea te nau ngungulu fakataha ʻo hangē ko e fanga talākoni; pea te nau ueʻi ʻakinautolu, ʻo hangē ko e fanga ʻuhikiʻi laione.
They shall roar together like young lions, growl as lions' whelps.
39 Pea ʻi heʻenau holi ʻe teuteu ʻeau ʻenau ngaahi kātoanga, pea te u fakakonaʻi ʻakinautolu, koeʻuhi ke nau nekeneka, pea mohe ʻi he mohe taʻengata, pea ʻoua naʻa toe ʻā,” ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova.
When they are heated, I will prepare their drink, and I will make them drunken, that they may exult, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith Jehovah.
40 Pea te u ʻomi ʻakinautolu ʻo hangē ko e fanga lami ki he tāmateʻi, ʻo hangē ko e fanga sipitangata fakataha mo e fanga kosi.
I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, like rams with he-goats.
41 “Hono ʻikai lavaʻi ʻa Sisake! Pea kuo fēfē ʻae lapasi ʻo ia naʻe ongoongo ʻi māmani kotoa pē! Kuo hoko fēfē ʻa Papilone ko e fakatumutumuanga ʻi he ngaahi puleʻanga!
How is Sheshach taken! and how is the praise of the whole earth seized! How is Babylon become an astonishment among the nations!
42 Kuo hake ʻae tahi ki Papilone: kuo ʻufiʻufi ia ʻaki hono ngaahi peau lahi.
The sea is come up upon Babylon: she is covered with the multitude of its waves.
Her cities are become a desolation, a dry land, and a desert, a land wherein no one dwelleth, neither doth a son of man pass thereby.
And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth what he hath swallowed up; and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon is fallen.
45 ʻE hoku kakai, mou ʻalu atu mei he lotolotonga ʻo ia, pea taki taha fakamoʻui ʻa hono laumālie mei he houhau kakaha ʻo Sihova.
Go ye out of the midst of her, my people, and deliver every man his soul from the fierce anger of Jehovah!
46 Pea telia naʻa vaivai homou loto, pea mou manavahē koeʻuhi ko e ongoongo ʻaia ʻe ongoʻi ʻi he fonua; koeʻuhi ʻe hoko mai ʻae ongoongo ʻi he taʻu ʻe taha, pea hili ia ʻe toe hoko mo e ongoongo ʻi he taʻu ʻe taha, mo e fakamālohi ʻi he fonua, ko e pule ki he pule.
lest your heart faint, and ye fear for the rumour that shall be heard in the land; for a rumour shall come [one] year, and after that a rumour in [another] year, and violence in the earth, ruler against ruler.
Therefore behold, days are coming when I will punish the graven images of Babylon; and her whole land shall be put to shame, and all her slain shall fall in the midst of her.
48 Pea ʻe toki hiva ki Papilone ʻae ngaahi langi pea mo māmani, pea mo e meʻa kotoa pē ʻi ai: ʻe haʻu kiate ia ʻae kau maumau mei he tokelau,” ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova.
And the heavens and the earth, and all that is therein, shall shout aloud over Babylon; for out of the north the spoilers shall come against her, saith Jehovah.
49 Hangē kuo tō ʻae mate ʻo ʻIsileli ʻi Papilone ʻe tō pehē ʻi Papilone ʻae tāmateʻi kotoa pē ʻo māmani.
As Babylon caused the slain of Israel to fall, so at Babylon shall fall the slain of all the earth.
50 ʻAlu ʻakimoutolu kuo hao ʻi he heletā, pea ʻoua naʻa veʻetōʻohi: fakamanatu kia Sihova mei he mamaʻo, pea manatu ʻi homou loto ki Selūsalema.”
Ye that have escaped the sword, go, stand not still: remember Jehovah from afar, and let Jerusalem come into your mind.
51 “Kuo mau puputuʻu, koeʻuhi kuo mau fanongo ki he ongoongo kovi: kuo ʻufiʻufi homau mata ʻaki ʻae mā: koeʻuhi kuo hū mai ʻae kau muli ki he ngaahi potu tapu ʻoe fale ʻo Sihova.”
— We are put to shame, for we have heard reproach; confusion hath covered our face: for strangers are come into the sanctuaries of Jehovah's house.
52 Ko ia, ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova, “Vakai, ʻoku hoko ʻae ngaahi ʻaho, ʻa ia te u tautea ai hono ngaahi tamapua kuo tongi, pea ʻe toʻetoʻe ʻae lavea ʻi hono fonua kotoa pē.
— Therefore behold, days come, saith Jehovah, that I will punish her graven images; and throughout her land the wounded shall groan.
53 Kapau ʻe kaka hake ʻa Papilone ki he ngaahi langi, pea kapau te ne ngaohi hono ngaahi potu mālohi ki ʻolunga,” ka ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova, “ʻE ʻalu atu meiate au kiate ia ʻae kau maumauʻi.
Though Babylon should mount up to the heavens, and though she should fortify the height of her strength, yet from me shall spoilers come unto her, saith Jehovah.
54 ʻOku ongo mai ʻae longoaʻa ʻoe tangi mei Papilone, pea mo e fakaʻauha lahi mei he fonua ʻoe kau Kalitia:
The sound of a cry [cometh] from Babylon, and great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans;
55 Koeʻuhi kuo maumauʻi ʻe Sihova ʻa Papilone, pea fakaʻauha ʻae longoaʻa lahi ʻiate ia; ʻoku ʻuʻulu hono ngaahi peau ʻo hangē ko e ngaahi vai lahi, ko e longoaʻa ʻo honau leʻo ʻoku ongo:
for Jehovah spoileth Babylon, and he will destroy out of her the great voice; and their waves roar like great waters, the noise of their voice resoundeth.
56 Koeʻuhi kuo hoko ʻae maumau kiate ia, ʻio, ki Papilone, pea kuo lavaʻi ʻa hono kau tangata mālohi, kuo fesiʻi ʻenau kaufana kotoa pē: he ko Sihova ko e ʻOtua faʻa totongi, pea ko e moʻoni te ne totongi.
For the spoiler is come against her, against Babylon, and her mighty men are taken; their bows are broken in pieces; for Jehovah, the God of recompences, will certainly requite.
57 Pea te u fakakonaʻi hono houʻeiki, pea mo hono kau tangata poto, mo hono ngaahi ʻeiki, mo hono kau pule, pea mo hono kau tangata mālohi: pea te nau mohe ʻi he mohe taʻengata, pea ʻe ʻikai toe ʻā, ʻoku pehē ʻe he tuʻi, ʻaia ko hono huafa ko Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau.
And I will make drunk her princes, and her wise men, her governors, and her rulers, and her mighty men; and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the King, whose name is Jehovah of hosts.
58 ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau; “ʻE maumau ʻaupito ʻae ngaahi ʻā laulahi ʻo Papilone, pea ʻe tutu ʻaki ʻae afi hono ngaahi matapā māʻolunga; pea ʻe ngāue taʻeʻaonga ʻae kakai, pea ʻe feinga ʻae ngaahi puleʻanga koeʻuhi ko e afi.”
Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: The broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly laid bare, and her high gates shall be burned with fire; so that the peoples will have laboured in vain, and the nations for the fire: and they shall be weary.
The word that Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Nerijah, the son of Mahseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah to Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. Now Seraiah was chief chamberlain.
60 Pea naʻe tohi ʻi he tohi ʻe Selemaia ʻae kovi kotoa pē ʻe hoko ki Papilone, ʻio, ʻae lea ni kotoa pē kuo tohi ki Papilone.
And Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come upon Babylon, all these words that are written against Babylon.
61 Pea pehē ʻe Selemaia kia Selaia, “ʻOka ke ka hoko ki Papilone, te ke mamata, pea lau ʻae ngaahi lea ni kotoa pē;
And Jeremiah said to Seraiah, When thou comest to Babylon, see that thou read all these words;
62 Pea te ke toki lea ʻo pehē, ‘ʻE Sihova, kuo ke folofola ki he potu ni, ke tuʻusi ia, koeʻuhi ke ʻoua naʻa nofo ai ha tokotaha, ha tangata pe ha manu, ka ʻe lala ia ʻo taʻengata.’
and say, Jehovah, thou hast spoken concerning this place, that thou wilt cut it off, so that none shall dwell in it, neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate for ever.
63 Pea ʻe hoko ia ʻo pehē, ʻoka ʻosi hoʻo lau ʻae tohi ni, ke ke noʻotaki ki ai ʻae maka, pea lī ia ki loto ʻIufaletesi.
And it shall be, when thou hast ended reading this book, [that] thou shalt bind a stone to it, and cast it into the midst of the Euphrates;
64 Pea ke ke lea ʻo pehē, ‘ʻE ngalo pehē hifo ʻa Papilone, pea ʻe ʻikai toetuʻu ia mei he kovi ʻaia te u fakahoko ki ai: pea te nau fiu ai.’” Ko hono ngata ia ʻoe ngaahi lea ʻa Selemaia.
and shalt say, Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise, because of the evil that I will bring upon it: and they shall be weary. Thus far the words of Jeremiah.
