< ʻIsaia 6 >

1 ‌ʻI he taʻu naʻe pekia ai ʻae tuʻi ko ʻUsia ne u mamata kia Sihova ʻoku ʻafio ʻi hono ʻafioʻanga, kuo māʻolunga mo hiki hake, pea ko hono kofu tōtōlofa naʻe fonu ai ʻae falelotu lahi.
In the yeer in which the kyng Osie was deed, Y siy the Lord sittynge on an hiy seete, and reisid; and the hous was ful of his mageste, and tho thingis that weren vndur hym, filliden the temple.
2 Pea naʻe tuʻu ʻi ʻolunga ʻae Selafimi: naʻe taki ono hona kapakau; naʻa ne fakapulou ʻaki hono mata ʻae ua, pea ne ʻufiʻufi ʻaki hono vaʻe ʻae ua, pea ne puna ʻaki ʻae ua.
Serafyn stoden on it, sixe wyngis weren to oon, and sixe wyngis to the tothir; with twei wyngis thei hiliden the face of hym, and with twei wyngis thei hiliden the feet of hym, and with twei wyngis thei flowen.
3 Pea naʻa na lea fetāliaki, ʻo pehē, “ʻOku māʻoniʻoni, ʻoku māʻoniʻoni, ʻoku māʻoniʻoni, ʻa Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau: ʻoku fonu ʻa māmani kotoa pē ʻi hono nāunau.”
And thei crieden `the toon to the tother, and seiden, Hooli, hooli, hooli is the Lord God of oostis; al erthe is ful of his glorie.
4 Pea naʻe ngaueue ʻae ngaahi pou ʻoe matapā ʻi he leʻo ʻo ia naʻe ui, pea naʻe fakafonu ʻae fale ʻi he ʻohuafi.
And the lyntels aboue of the herris were moued togidere of the vois of the criere, and the hous was fillid with smoke.
5 Pea ne u toki pehē, “Kuo u malaʻia au! He kuo u ʻauha; koeʻuhi ko e tangata loungutu taʻemaʻa au, pea ʻoku ou nofo ʻi he lotolotonga ʻoe kakai loungutu taʻemaʻa: he kuo mamata ʻa hoku mata ki he Tuʻi, ko Sihova ʻoe ngaahi kautau.”
And Y seide, Wo to me, for Y was stille; for Y am a man defoulid in lippis, and Y dwelle in the myddis of the puple hauynge defoulid lippis, and Y siy with myn iyen the kyng Lord of oostis.
6 Pea naʻe toki puna mai ʻae tokotaha ʻoe Selafimi kiate au, naʻe ʻi hono nima ʻae malalaʻi afi, ʻaia naʻa ne toʻo ʻaki ʻae hikofi mei he feilaulauʻanga.
And oon of serafyn flei to me, and a brennynge cole was in his hond, which cole he hadde take with a tonge fro the auter.
7 Pea naʻa ne ai ia ki hoku ngutu, mo ne pehē, “Vakai kuo tau ʻae meʻa ni ki ho loungutu; pea kuo toʻo ʻo ʻave hoʻo hia, pea kuo fakamaʻa hoʻo angahala.”
And he touchide my mouth, and seide, Lo! Y haue touchid thi lippis with this cole, and thi wickidnesse schal be don awei, and thi synne schal be clensid.
8 Pea ne u fanongo foki ki he leʻo ʻo Sihova, naʻe pehē, “Ko hai te u fekau, pea ko hai ʻe ʻalu maʻamautolu?” Pea ne u toki pehē, “Ko au eni; ke ke fekau au.”
And Y herde the vois of the Lord, seiynge, Whom schal Y sende, and who schal go to you? And Y seide, Lo! Y; sende thou me.
9 Pea naʻa ne pehē, “ʻAlu, pea tala ki he kakai ni, ʻOku mou fanongo moʻoni, kae ʻikai ongoʻi; pea ʻoku mou mamata pau, kae ʻikai ʻiloʻi.
And he seide, Go thou, and thou schalt seie to this puple, Ye herynge here, and nyle ye vndurstonde; and se ye the profesie, and nyle ye knowe.
10 Ngaohi ke fangapesi ʻae loto ʻoe kakai ni, pea ngaohi ke mamafa honau telinga, pea tāpuni honau mata; telia naʻa nau mamata ʻaki honau mata, pea fanongo ʻaki honau telinga, pea ʻilo ʻaki honau loto, pea liliu, pea hoko ʻo moʻui.”
Make thou blynde the herte of this puple, and aggrege thou the eeris therof, and close thou the iyen therof; lest perauenture it se with hise iyen, and here with hise eeris, and vndurstonde with his herte, and it be conuertid, and Y make it hool.
11 Pea ne u toki pehē, “ʻE Sihova, ʻe fēfē hono fuoloa?” Pea naʻa ne pehē mai, “Ke ʻoua ke lala ʻae ngaahi kolo ʻo ʻikai ha tokotaha ke nofo ai, pea ʻikai ha tangata ʻi he ngaahi fale, pea lala ʻaupito ʻae fonua,
And Y seide, Lord, hou long? And he seide, Til citees ben maad desolat with out dwellere, and housis with out man. And the lond schal be left desert,
12 Pea ke ʻoua ke ʻave ʻe Sihova ʻae kakai, pea hoko ʻae liʻaki lahi ki he fonua.
and the Lord schal make men fer. And that that was forsakun in the myddil of erthe, schal be multiplied, and yit tithing schal be ther ynne;
13 Ka e ʻi ai ʻae vahe ʻe hongofulu, pea ʻe toe foki ia, pea ʻe keina ia; ka e hangē ko e ʻakau ko e teili, pea hangē ko e oke, ʻoka tā hifo ʻoku kei tuʻu hono aka: ʻe pehē ʻe hoko ʻae hako māʻoniʻoni ko e aka ʻoe puleʻanga.”
and it schal be conuertid, and it schal be in to schewyng, as a terebynte is, and as an ook, that spredith abrood hise boowis; that schal be hooli seed, that schal stonde ther ynne.
