For lo! the lordli gouernour, the Lord of oostis, schal take awei fro Jerusalem and fro Juda a myyti man, and strong, and al the strengthe of breed, and al the strengthe of watir;
2 Ko e tangata mālohi, pea mo e tangata tau, ko e fakamaau, pea mo e palōfita, ʻae fakamākukanga, pea mo e mātuʻa,
a strong man, and a man a werriour, and a domesman, and a profete, and a false dyuynour in auteris, and an elde man,
3 Ko e ʻeikitau ʻae toko nimangofulu, pea mo e tangata ongoongolelei, pea mo e tangata akonaki poto, pea mo e tangata poto ʻi he faiva, pea mo e tangata lea mālie.
a prince ouer fifti men, and a worschipful man in cheer, and a counselour, and a wijs man of principal crafti men, and a prudent man of mystik, ethir goostli, speche.
4 Pea te u fakanofo ʻae tamaiki ko honau houʻeiki, pea ʻe pule kiate kinautolu ʻae kau valevale.
And Y schal yyue children the princes of hem, and men of wymmens condiciouns schulen be lordis of hem.
5 Pea ʻe fefakamamahiʻaki ʻae kakai ʻiate kinautolu, pea mo honau kaungāʻapi: ʻe anga fielahi ʻae tamasiʻi ki he motuʻa, mo e angakovi kiate ia ʻoku ongoongolelei.
And the puple schal falle doun, a man to a man, ech man to his neiybore; a child schal make noyse ayens an eld man, and an vnnoble man ayens a noble man.
6 Pea ʻe puke ʻe ha tangata ʻa hono tokoua ʻi he fale ʻo ʻene tamai, ʻo ne pehē, “ʻOku ʻiate koe ʻae ngaahi kofu, ke ke hoko ko homau pule, pea toʻo ʻe ho nima ʻa ʻemau malaʻia ni:”
For a man schal take his brother, the meneal of his fadir, and schal seie, A clooth is to thee, be thou oure prince; forsothe this fallyng be vndur thin hond.
7 ‌ʻI he ʻaho ko ia te ne fuakava, ʻo pehē, “ʻE ʻikai te u hoko ko e fakamoʻui; he ʻoku ʻikai ha mā pe ha kofu ʻi hoku fale: ʻoua naʻa ngaohi au ko e pule ʻoe kakai.”
And he schal answere in that dai, and seie, Y am no leche, and nether breed, nether cloth is in myn hous; nyle ye make me prince of the puple.
8 He kuo malaʻia ʻa Selūsalema, pea kuo hinga mo Siuta: he ko honau ʻelelo mo ʻenau faianga ʻoku kovi kia Sihova, ke fakahouhauʻi ʻae fofonga ʻo ʻene ʻafio.
For whi Jerusalem felle doun, and Juda felle doun togidere; for the tunge of hem, and the fyndingis of hem weren ayens the Lord, for to terre to wraththe the iyen of his mageste.
9 Ko e anga ʻo honau mata ko e fakaʻilonga ʻonautolu; pea ʻoku nau fakahā ʻa ʻenau angahala ʻo hangē ko Sotoma, ʻoku ʻikai te nau fufū ia. ʻE malaʻia honau laumālie! He kuo nau fakahoko ʻae kovi kiate kinautolu.
The knowyng of her cheer schal answere to hem; and thei prechiden her synne, as Sodom dide, and hidden not. Wo to the soule of hem, for whi yuels ben yoldun to hem.
10 Mou pehē ki he māʻoniʻoni, “E hoko pe ʻae lelei:’ he te nau kai ʻae fua ʻo ʻenau faianga.
Seie ye to the iust man, that it schal be to hym wel; for he schal ete the fruyt of hise fyndyngis.
11 ‌ʻE malaʻia ʻae angahala! ʻE hoko ʻae kovi kiate ia: he ko e totongi ʻo hono nima ʻe ange kiate ia.
Wo to the wickid man in to yuel; for whi the yeldyng of hise hondis schal be maad to hym.
12 Ka ko hoku kakai, kuo fakamālohiʻi ʻakinautolu ʻe he tamaiki, pea ʻoku puleʻi ʻakinautolu ʻe he kau fefine. ʻE hoku kakai, ʻoku fakahalaʻi koe ʻe hoʻo kau takimuʻa, ʻonau fakakehe ʻae ʻaluʻanga ʻo ho ngaahi hala.
The wrongful axeris of my puple robbiden it, and wymmen weren lordis therof. Mi puple, thei that seien thee blessid, disseyuen thee, and distrien the weie of thi steppis.
13 ‌ʻOku tuʻu hake ʻa Sihova ke folofola, ʻoku tuʻu ia ke fakamaau ʻae kakai.
The Lord stondith for to deme, and `the Lord stondith for to deme puplis;
14 ‌ʻE fakamaau ʻe Sihova ʻae kau mātuʻa ʻo hono kakai, pea mo honau houʻeiki: “he kuo mou kai ʻo ʻosi ʻae ngoue vaine; ʻoku ʻi homou fale ʻae koloa kuo faʻao mei he kakai masiva.
the Lord schal come to doom, with the eldere men of his puple, and with hise princes; for ye han wastid my vyner, and the raueyn of a pore man is in youre hous.
15 ‌ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻEiki ʻoe ngaahi kautau, “Ko e hā hono ʻuhinga ʻo hoʻomou taʻomia ʻa hoku kakai, ʻo momosi ʻae mata ʻoe masiva?”
Whi al to-breken ye my puple, and grynden togidere the faces of pore men? seith the Lord God of oostis.
16 Pea ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova, “Koeʻuhi ʻoku fielahi ʻae ngaahi ʻofefine ʻo Saione, mo nau ʻaʻeva fakamofutofuta mo e mata holi kovi, mo ʻalu fakatekiteki pe, mo fakapakihi honau vaʻe:
And the Lord God seide, For that that the douytris of Syon weren reisid, and yeden with a necke stretchid forth, and yeden bi signes of iyen, and flappiden with hondis, and yeden, and with her feet yeden in wel araied goyng,
17 Ko ia ʻe taaʻi ʻe he ʻEiki ʻae tumuʻaki ʻoe ngaahi ʻofefine ʻo Saione ʻaki ʻae pala, pea ʻe fakatelefuaʻi ʻakinautolu ʻe Sihova.”
the Lord schal make ballyd the nol of the douytris of Sion, and the Lord schal make nakid the heer of hem.
18 ‌ʻI he ʻaho ko ia ʻe toʻo ʻe Sihova ʻiate kinautolu ʻae teunga tatangi ʻo honau vaʻe, mo e meʻa fau ʻoe ʻulu, mo ʻenau teunga ʻo hangē ko e māhina,
In that dai the Lord schal take awei the ournement of schoon, and goldun litle bellis lijk the moone,
19 ‌ʻAe kahoa, pea mo e ngaahi vesa, pea mo e ngaahi pūlou,
and ribans, and brochis, and ournementis of armes nyy the schuldris, and mytris, ether chapelettis,
20 ‌ʻAe ngaahi tatā, pea mo e teunga ʻo honau vaʻe, mo e ngaahi fua mo e ʻaiʻanga kakala, pea mo e ngaahi hau ki honau telinga,
and coombis, and ournementis of armes niy the hondis, and goldun ourenementis lijk laumpreis, and litil vessels of oynementis,
21 ‌ʻAe ngaahi mama, mo e teunga ʻoe ihu,
and eere ryngis, and ryngis, and preciouse stoonys hangynge in the forheed,
22 Mo e tuului ʻo honau kofu, pea mo e kofutuʻa, pea mo e ngaahi pulupulu, pea mo e ngaahi kato paʻanga,
and chaungynge clothis, and mentils, and schetis, ether smockis, and needlis,
23 ‌ʻAe ngaahi sioʻata, pea mo e kofu lineni, pea mo e ngaahi kofu ʻoe ʻulu, pea mo e ngaahi pūlou.
and myrouris, and smal lynun clothis aboute the schuldris, and kercheues, and roketis.
24 Pea ʻe hoko ʻo pehē, ʻe fetongi ʻaki ʻae namu kakala ʻae namukū; pea ʻe fetongi ʻaki ʻae noʻo lelei ʻae noʻo mahae; pea ʻe liliu ʻae ʻulu lau lelei ko e tula; pea ʻe fetongi ʻae kofu fatafata ʻaki ʻae kofu ʻoe tauangaʻa; pea ʻe fetongi ʻaki ʻae hoihoifua ʻae fohia ʻi he laʻā.
And stynk shal be for swete odour, and a corde for the girdil; ballidnesse schal be for crispe heer, and an heire for a brest girdil.
25 ‌ʻE tō ho kau tangata ʻi he heletā, mo hoʻo kau mālohi ʻi he tau.
Also thi faireste men schulen falle bi swerd, and thi stronge men schulen falle in batel.
26 Pea ʻe mamahi mo tangi hono ngaahi matapā; pea ʻi heʻene lala te ne nofo ʻi he kelekele.
And the yatis therof schulen weile, and morene; and it schal sitte desolat in erthe.
