1 Pea naʻe hoko mai ʻae folofola ʻa Sihova kiate au, ʻo pehē,
The LORD’s word came to me, saying,
2 “Foha ʻoe tangata, fakahanga ho mata kia Koki, ʻae fonua ko Mekoki, ʻaia ʻoku ʻeiki lahi hake ʻia Meseke, pea mo Tupale, pea kikite kiate ia,
“Son of man, set your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
3 Mo ke pehē, ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua; Vakai, ʻe Koki, ʻoku ou tuʻu au kiate koe, ʻa koe ko e ʻeiki lahi ʻi Meseke, pea mo Tupale;
and say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Behold, I am against you, Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.
4 Pea te u fakafoki koe ki mui, pea te u ʻai ʻae mātaʻu ki ho ngutu, pea te u fusi mai ʻa koe, mo hoʻo kau tau kotoa pē, ʻae fanga hoosi, mo e kau heka hoosi, ʻakinautolu kotoa pē ʻoku kofu fakaʻeiʻeiki, ʻio, ʻae fuʻu tokolahi ʻoku toʻo ʻae fakaū mo e pā, pea ʻoku nau taki taha toʻo mo e heletā ʻi honau nima;
I will turn you around, and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, with all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armor, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them handling swords;
5 ‌ʻA Peasia, mo ʻItiopea, mo Lipea, fakataha mo kinautolu; ʻoku ʻai kotoa pē ʻekinautolu ʻae pā, mo e tatā ki he tau:
Persia, Cush, and Put with them, all of them with shield and helmet;
6 ‌ʻA Komela, pea mo ʻene ngaahi matatau; ʻae fale ʻo Tokama mei he feituʻu tokelau, mo ʻene faʻahitaʻu ʻaʻana; pea mo e kakai tokolahi kuo fakataha mo koe.
Gomer, and all his hordes; the house of Togarmah in the uttermost parts of the north, and all his hordes—even many peoples with you.
7 Ke ke teuteu pe koe, pea ke teuteu pe maʻau, ʻa koe, mo e kakai kotoa pē kuo fakataha mai kiate koe, pea ke leʻohi ʻe koe kiate kinautolu.
“‘“Be prepared, yes, prepare yourself, you, and all your companies who are assembled to you, and be a guard to them.
8 Hili ʻae ngaahi ʻaho lahi ʻe fai ʻae ʻaʻahi kiate koe: te ke toe hoko mai ʻi he ngaahi taʻu fakamui, ki he fonua kuo fakamoʻui mai mei he heletā, pea ʻe tānaki koe mei he ngaahi kakai tokolahi, ki he ngaahi moʻunga ʻo ʻIsileli, ʻaia naʻe lala ʻo fuoloa: ʻio, ʻe ʻomi ia mei he ngaahi puleʻanga, pea te nau nofo malu kotoa pē ʻakinautolu.
After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land that is brought back from the sword, that is gathered out of many peoples, on the mountains of Israel, which have been a continual waste; but it is brought out of the peoples and they will dwell securely, all of them.
9 Te ke ʻalu hake, pea hoko mai ʻo hangē ko e taufa matangi, pea te ke hangē ko e ʻao ke ʻufiʻufi ʻae fonua, ʻa koe, mo hoʻo ngaahi matatau, mo e kakai tokolahi ʻe fakataha mo koe.”
You will ascend. You will come like a storm. You will be like a cloud to cover the land, you and all your hordes, and many peoples with you.”
10 ‌ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua hoko foki ʻo pehē, “ʻI he kuonga pe ko ia, ʻe hū ʻae ngaahi meʻa ki ho loto, pea te ke fakakaukau ai ki ha ngāue kovi:
“‘The Lord GOD says: “It will happen in that day that things will come into your mind, and you will devise an evil plan.
11 Pea te ke lea ʻo pehē, Te u ʻalu hake ki he fonua ʻoe ngaahi kolo ʻoku ʻikai ʻāʻi; te u ʻalu kiate kinautolu ʻoku mālōlō, mo nofo fiemālie, ʻakinautolu ʻoku nofo, ʻoku ʻikai hanau ʻā, pe ha songo, pe ha matapā,
You will say, ‘I will go up to the land of unwalled villages. I will go to those who are at rest, who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
12 Koeʻuhi ke u vete ia, mo maʻu ha koloa; ke ʻai hoku nima ki he ngaahi potu lala kuo fakakakai, pea mo e kakai ʻaia kuo tānaki mei he ngaahi puleʻanga, ʻakinautolu kuo maʻu ʻae fanga manu mo e koloa, pea ʻoku nau nofo ʻi he lotolotonga ʻoe fonua.
to take the plunder and to take prey; to turn your hand against the waste places that are inhabited, and against the people who are gathered out of the nations, who have gotten livestock and goods, who dwell in the middle of the earth.’
Sheba, Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all its young lions, will ask you, ‘Have you come to take the plunder? Have you assembled your company to take the prey, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder?’”’
14 Ko ia, foha ʻoe tangata, kikite, pea ke pehē kia Koki, “ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua; ʻe ʻikai te ke ʻilo ʻi he ʻaho ko ia, ʻe nofo fiemālie ʻa hoku kakai ko ʻIsileli?
“Therefore, son of man, prophesy, and tell Gog, ‘The Lord GOD says: “In that day when my people Israel dwells securely, will you not know it?
15 Pea te ke haʻu mei ho potu ʻi he feituʻu tokelau, ʻa koe, mo e kakai tokolahi ʻe fakataha mo koe, ko e kau heka hoosi kotoa pē ʻakinautolu, ko e fuʻu tokolahi ʻaupito, pea ko e kau tau mālohi:
You will come from your place out of the uttermost parts of the north, you, and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army.
16 Pea te ke hoko hake ki hoku kakai ko ʻIsileli, ʻo hangē ko e ʻao ke ʻufiʻufi ʻae fonua; ʻe hoko ia ʻi he ngaahi ʻaho fakamui, pea te u ʻomi koe ke tauʻi ʻa hoku fonua, koeʻuhi ke ʻiloʻi au ʻe he hiteni, ʻoka fakaongoongoleleiʻi au ʻe koe, ʻE Koki, ʻi honau ʻao.
You will come up against my people Israel as a cloud to cover the land. It will happen in the latter days that I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know me when I am sanctified in you, Gog, before their eyes.”
17 ‌ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua; ko koe ia ʻaia naʻaku lea ki ai ʻi muʻa ʻi heʻeku kau tamaioʻeiki ko e kau palōfita ʻo ʻIsileli, ʻakinautolu naʻe kikite ʻi he ngaahi ʻaho ko ia ki ha ngaahi taʻu lahi, ʻo pehē, Te u ʻomi koe ke tauʻi ʻakinautolu.
“‘The Lord GOD says: “Are you he of whom I spoke in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days for years that I would bring you against them?
18 Pea ʻe hoko ʻo pehē foki ʻi he kuonga pe ko ia, ʻe haʻu ʻa Koki ki he fonua ʻo ʻIsileli ke tauʻi ia, ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua, ʻe ʻalu hake foki ʻae houhau ʻi hoku fofonga.
It will happen in that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord GOD, “that my wrath will come up into my nostrils.
19 He kuo u lea ʻi heʻeku fuaʻa, pea mo e kakaha ʻo hoku tuputāmaki, Ko e moʻoni ʻe ai ʻae ngalulu fakamanavahē ʻi he fonua ʻo ʻIsileli ʻi he ʻaho ko ia;
For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath I have spoken. Surely in that day there will be a great shaking in the land of Israel,
20 Ko ia ʻe tetetete ai ʻi hoku ʻao ʻae ngaahi ika ʻoe tahi, mo e fanga manupuna ʻoe langi, ʻae fanga manu ʻoe vao, mo e meʻa totolo kotoa pē, ʻoku ngaolo ʻi he funga ʻo māmani, pea mo e kakai kotoa pē ʻoku ʻi he funga ʻo māmani, pea ʻe holoki hifo ʻae ngaahi moʻunga, pea ʻe holo mo e ngaahi potu lilifa, pea ʻe hinga ki lalo ki he kelekele ʻae ngaahi ʻā kotoa pē.
so that the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the animals of the field, all creeping things who creep on the earth, and all the men who are on the surface of the earth will shake at my presence. Then the mountains will be thrown down, the steep places will fall, and every wall will fall to the ground.
21 Pea te u ui mai ʻae heletā kiate ia, ʻi hoku ngaahi moʻunga kotoa pē, ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua: ʻe tuʻu taki taha ʻae tangata mo ʻene heletā ke tauʻi ʻa hono tokoua.
I will call for a sword against him to all my mountains,” says the Lord GOD. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother.
22 Pea te u fai mo ia ʻi he mahaki fakaʻauha mo e lilingi toto; pea te u fakaʻauha kiate ia, mo ʻene ngaahi matatau, pea mo e kakai kotoa pē ʻoku fakataha mo ia, ko e lovai fakamanavahē, mo e ʻuha maka lalahi, mo e afi, mo e sulifa.
I will enter into judgment with him with pestilence and with blood. I will rain on him, on his hordes, and on the many peoples who are with him, torrential rains with great hailstones, fire, and sulfur.
23 ‌ʻE pehē ʻa ʻeku fakaongoongoleleiʻi au ʻeau pe, mo hoku fakamāʻoniʻoniʻi; pea ʻe ʻiloʻi au ʻe he mata ʻoe ngaahi puleʻanga lahi, pea te nau ʻilo ko Sihova au.”
I will magnify myself and sanctify myself, and I will make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD.”’
