< ʻIsikieli 32 >
1 Pea ʻi heʻene hoko ki hono hongofulu ma ua ʻoe taʻu, ʻi hono hongofulu ma ua ʻoe māhina, pea ʻi he ʻuluaki ʻaho ʻoe māhina, naʻe hoko mai ʻae folofola ʻa Sihova kiate au, ʻo pehē,
And it came about in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, on the first day of the month, that the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
2 Foha ʻoe tangata, te ke fai ha tangilāulau koeʻuhi ko Felo ko e tuʻi ʻo ʻIsipite, pea ke pehē kiate ia, ʻOku ke hangē koe ko e laione mui ʻi he ngaahi puleʻanga, pea ʻoku ke hangē ko e tofuaʻa ʻi he tahi, pea naʻa ke haʻu koe mei ho ngaahi vaitafe, pea kuo ke fakangaueʻi ʻae vai ʻaki ho vaʻe, mo ke fakaʻuliʻi honau ngaahi vaitafe.
Son of man, make a song of grief for Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and say to him, Young lion of the nations, destruction has come on you; and you were like a sea-beast in the seas, sending out bursts of water, troubling the waters with your feet, making their streams dirty.
3 ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua; ko ia ia te u folahi atu ai hoku kupenga kiate koe mo e niʻihi mei he kakai tokolahi; pea te nau fusi hake koe ʻi hoku kupenga.
This is what the Lord has said: My net will be stretched out over you, and I will take you up in my fishing-net.
4 Pea te u toki liʻaki koe ʻi he fonua, pea te u lī atu koe ki he ʻataʻatā ʻoe vao, pea ʻe heka kiate koe ʻae manupuna kotoa pē ʻoe langi, pea te u fakamākona ʻaki koe ʻae fanga manu kotoa pē ʻo māmani.
And I will let you be stretched on the land; I will send you out violently into the open field; I will let all the birds of heaven come to rest on you and will make the beasts of all the earth full of you.
5 Pea te u ʻai ho kakano ki he ngaahi moʻunga, mo fakapito ʻaki ho ʻangaʻanga ʻae ngaahi teleʻa.
And I will put your flesh on the mountains, and make the valleys full of your blood.
6 Te u lōmakiʻi foki ʻae fonua ʻoku ke tētē ai ʻaki ʻae toto, ʻo aʻu ki he ngaahi moʻunga; pea ʻe pito ai ʻae ngaahi vaitafe.
And the land will be watered with your blood, and the waterways will be full of you.
7 Pea kau ka ifi koe ke mate te u ʻuʻufi ʻae langi, mo ngaohi ke fakapoʻuli hono ngaahi fetuʻu; te u ʻufiʻufi ʻae laʻā ʻaki ʻae ʻao, pea ʻe ʻikai tuku mai ʻe he māhina ʻa hono maama.
And when I put out your life, the heaven will be covered and its stars made dark; I will let the sun be covered with a cloud and the moon will not give her light.
8 Te u ngaohi ke poʻuli kiate koe ʻae ngaahi maama ngingila kotoa pē ʻoe langi, pea ʻe ai mo e fakapoʻuli ki ho fonua, ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua.
All the bright lights of heaven I will make dark over you, and put dark night on your land, says the Lord.
9 Te u fakamamahi foki ʻae loto ʻoe kakai tokolahi, ʻo kau ka ʻave ho kau pōpula ki he ngaahi puleʻanga, ki he ngaahi fonua ʻaia naʻe ʻikai te ke ʻiloʻi.
And the hearts of numbers of peoples will be troubled, when I send your prisoners among the nations, into a country which is strange to you.
10 ʻIo, te u fakatupu ʻae ofo kiate koe ʻi he kakai lahi, pea ʻe lilika fakamanavahē honau ngaahi tuʻi, koeʻuhi ko koe, ʻo kau ka vilo ʻeku heletā ʻi honau ʻao; pea te nau tetetete maʻuaipē taki taha ʻae tangata, telia ʻa ʻene moʻui ʻaʻana, ʻi he ʻaho ko ia te ke hinga ai.”
And I will make a number of peoples overcome with wonder at you, and their kings will be full of fear because of you, when my sword is waved before them: they will be shaking every minute, every man fearing for his life, in the day of your fall.
11 He ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua; “ʻE hoko mai kiate koe ʻae heletā ʻae tuʻi ʻo Papilone.
For this is what the Lord has said: The sword of the king of Babylon will come on you.
12 Te u fakahinga ʻae tokolahi ʻiate koe ʻi he heletā ʻae kau mālohi, ko e kau toʻa ʻakinautolu kotoa pē ʻoe ngaahi puleʻanga: pea te nau maumauʻi ʻae fieʻeiki ʻa ʻIsipite, pea ʻe fakaʻauha ʻa hono kakai kotoa pē.
I will let the swords of the strong be the cause of the fall of your people; all of them men to be feared among the nations: and they will make waste the pride of Egypt, and all its people will come to destruction.
13 Te u fakaʻosiʻosi foki ʻae ngaahi manu kotoa pē ʻi ai, ʻi hono ngaahi veʻe vai; pea ʻe ʻikai toe fakangaueʻi ia ʻe he vaʻe ʻoe tangata, pe fakangaueʻi ia ʻe he vaʻe ʻo ha fanga manu.
And I will put an end to all her beasts which are by the great waters, and they will never again be troubled by the foot of man or by the feet of beasts.
14 Pea te u toki ʻai ke loloto, ʻenau ngaahi vai, pea te u ngaohi ʻenau ngaahi vaitafe ke tafe hangē ko e lolo, ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua.
Then I will make their waters clear and their rivers will be flowing like oil, says the Lord.
15 ʻO kau ka fakaʻauha ʻae fonua ko ʻIsipite, pea ka masiva ʻae fonua ʻi he ngaahi meʻa ko ia naʻe mahu ai, ʻo kau ka teʻia kotoa pē ʻakinautolu ʻoku nofo ai, te nau toki ʻilo, ko Sihova au.
When I make Egypt an unpeopled waste, cutting off from the land all the things in it; when I send punishment on all those living in it, then it will be clear to them that I am the Lord.
16 Ko eni ʻae tangilāulau, ʻaia te nau tangi mamahi ai koeʻuhi ko ia: ʻe mamahi koeʻuhi ko ia ʻae ʻofefine ʻoe ngaahi puleʻanga: te nau mamahi koeʻuhi ko ia, ʻio, ʻa ʻIsipite, pea mo hono kakai kotoa pē, ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua.”
It is a song of grief, and people will give voice to it, the daughters of the nations will give voice to it, even for Egypt and all her people, says the Lord.
17 Naʻe pehē foki ʻi hono hongofulu ma ua ʻoe taʻu, mo hono hongofulu ma nima ʻoe ʻaho ʻi he māhina, naʻe hoko mai ʻae folofola ʻa Sihova kiate au, ʻo pehē,
And in the twelfth year, on the fifteenth day of the month, the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
18 “Foha ʻoe tangata, tangi mamahi koeʻuhi ko e kakai ʻo ʻIsipite, pea lī hifo ʻakinautolu ki lalo, ʻaia mo e ngaahi ʻofefine ʻoe puleʻanga ongoongo, ʻo aʻu ki he potu māʻulalo ʻo māmani, fakataha mo kinautolu ʻoku ʻalu hifo ki he luo.
Son of man, let your voice be loud in sorrow for the people of Egypt and send them down, even you and the daughters of the nations; I will send them down into the lowest parts of the earth, with those who go down into the underworld.
19 ʻOku ke toulekeleka, lahi hake koe ʻia hai? ʻAlu hifo, pea ke tokoto fakataha hifo mo e kau taʻekamu.
Are you more beautiful than any? go down, and take your rest among those without circumcision,
20 Te nau tō hifo ʻi he lotolotonga ʻonautolu ʻoku tāmateʻi ʻaki ʻae heletā: kuo tukuange ia ki he heletā; tohoaki ia, pea mo hono kakai kotoa pē.
Among those who have been put to the sword: they will give a resting-place with them to all their people.
21 ʻE lea mai kiate ia ʻae mālohi ʻiate kinautolu ʻoku mālohi mei loto heli, mo kinautolu kuo tokoni kiate ia: kuo nau mole hifo, kuo nau tokoto ko e taʻekamu, ko e kau tāmateʻi ʻe he heletā. (Sheol )
The strong among the great ones will say to him from the underworld, Are you more beautiful than any? go down, you and your helpers, and take your rest among those without circumcision, and those who have been put to the sword. (Sheol )
22 ʻOku ʻi ai ʻa ʻAsilia mo hono kakai kotoa pē: ʻoku tuʻu takatakai ʻiate ia hono faʻitoka: kuo nau mate kotoa pē, ko e tō ʻi he heletā:
There is Asshur and all her army, round about her last resting-place: all of them put to death by the sword:
23 ʻAia ʻoku tuʻu hono faʻitoka ʻi he tafaʻaki luo, pea ʻoku tuʻu takatakai hono kakai ʻi hono faʻitoka: kuo mate kotoa pē ʻakinautolu ko e tō ʻi he heletā, ʻaia naʻe fakamanavahē ʻaki ʻakinautolu ʻi heʻenau kei ʻi he fonua ʻoe moʻui.
Whose resting-places are in the inmost parts of the underworld, who were a cause of fear in the land of the living.
24 ʻOku ʻi ai ʻa ʻIlami mo hono kakai, ʻoku tuʻu takatakai ʻi hono faʻitoka, ko e kau mate kotoa pē ʻakinautolu, ko e tō ʻi he heletā, kuo nau ʻalu hifo ki he potu māʻulalo ʻo māmani fakataha mo e taʻekamu, ʻakinautolu naʻa nau manavahē ki ai, ʻi he fonua ʻoe moʻui; ka kuo nau fua pe ʻenau mā fakataha mo kinautolu ʻoku ʻalu hifo ki he luo.
There is Elam and all her people, round about her last resting-place: all of them put to death by the sword, who have gone down without circumcision into the lowest parts of the earth, who were a cause of fear in the land of the living, and are put to shame with those who go down to the underworld:
25 Kuo nau tuku hono mohenga ʻi he lotolotonga ʻoe kau mate tāmateʻi mo hono kakai kotoa pē: ʻoku tuʻu takatakai ʻiate ia hono ngaahi faʻitoka: ko e kau taʻekamu kotoa pē ʻakinautolu, kuo tāmateʻi ʻaki ʻae heletā: neongo ʻae manavahē kiate ia ʻi he fonua ʻoe moʻui, ka kuo nau fua pe ʻenau mā fakataha mo kinautolu ʻoku ʻalu hifo ki he luo: kuo ʻai fakataha ia mo kinautolu kuo tāmateʻi.
They have made a bed for her among the dead, and all her people are round about her resting-place: all of them without circumcision, put to death with the sword; for they were a cause of fear in the land of the living, and are put to shame with those who go down to the underworld: they have been given a place among those who have been put to the sword.
26 ʻOku ʻi ai ʻa Meseke, mo Tupale, pea mo ʻene kakai: ʻoku tuʻu takatakai ʻiate ia hono ngaahi faʻitoka: ko e kau taʻekamu kotoa pē ʻakinautolu, kuo tāmateʻi ʻaki ʻae heletā, neongo naʻa nau fai fakamanavahē ʻi he fonua ʻoe moʻui.
There is Meshech, Tubal, and all her people, round about her last resting-place: all of them without circumcision, put to death by the sword; for they were a cause of fear in the land of the living.
27 Pea ʻe ʻikai te nau tokoto fakataha mo e kau toʻa kuo hinga ʻi he kau taʻekamu, ʻakinautolu kuo ʻalu hifo ki heli mo ʻenau mahafutau: pea kuo nau ʻai ʻenau heletā ki lalo ʻi honau ʻulu, ka ʻe ʻiate kinautolu pe ʻenau ngaahi hia, neongo ko e kau fakamanavahē ʻakinautolu ʻi he fonua ʻoe moʻui ki he kakai mālohi. (Sheol )
And they have been put to rest with the fighting men who came to their end in days long past, who went down to the underworld with their instruments of war, placing their swords under their heads, and their body-covers are over their bones; for their strength was a cause of fear in the land of the living. (Sheol )
28 Ko e moʻoni, ʻe haʻaki koe ke lailai ʻi he lotolotonga ʻoe kau taʻekamu, pea te ke tokoto fakataha mo kinautolu kuo tāmateʻi ʻaki ʻae heletā.
But you will have your bed among those without circumcision, and will be put to rest with those who have been put to death with the sword.
29 Ko ʻena ʻa ʻItomi, mo hono ngaahi tuʻi, mo hono houʻeiki, ko kinautolu mo ʻenau mālohi kuo fakatokoto fakataha mo kinautolu kuo tāmateʻi ʻaki ʻae heletā: te nau tokoto fakataha mo e kau taʻekamu, mo kinautolu ʻoku ʻalu hifo ki he luo.
There is Edom, her kings and all her princes, who have been given a resting-place with those who were put to the sword: they will be resting among those without circumcision, even with those who go down to the underworld.
30 ʻOku ʻi ai ʻae houʻeiki mei he potu tokelau ʻoku nau kātoa, mo e kakai Saitoni kotoa pē, kuo tō hifo fakataha mo e kau mate tāmateʻi; ko e meʻa ʻi heʻenau lilika, kuo nau mā ki heʻenau mālohi; pea ʻoku nau tokoto ko e kau taʻekamu fakataha mo kinautolu kuo tāmateʻi ʻaki ʻae heletā, pea te nau fua ʻenau mā fakataha mo kinautolu ʻoku ʻalu hifo ki he luo.
There are the chiefs of the north, all of them, and all the Zidonians, who have gone down with those who have been put to the sword: they are shamed on account of all the fear caused by their strength; they are resting there without circumcision, among those who have been put to the sword, and are put to shame with those who go down to the underworld.
31 ʻE mamata ʻa Felo kiate kinautolu, pea ʻe fiefia ia mo hono kakai kotoa pē, ʻio, ʻa Felo mo ʻene kautau kotoa pē naʻe tāmateʻi ʻaki ʻae heletā, ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua.
Pharaoh will see them and be comforted on account of all his people: even Pharaoh and all his army, put to death by the sword, says the Lord.
32 He kuo tāmateʻi ʻaki ʻae heletā, ʻio, ʻa Felo mo hono kakai,” ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua.
For he put his fear in the land of the living: and he will be put to rest among those without circumcision, with those who have been put to death with the sword, even Pharaoh and all his people, says the Lord.
