1 Naʻe toe hoko foki ʻae folofola ʻa Sihova kiate au, ʻo pehē,
And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
2 “Foha ʻoe tangata, fakahanga ho mata ki he kau ʻAmoni, pea kikite kiate kinautolu;
and he seide, Thou, sone of man, sette thi face ayens the sones of Amon, and thou schalt profesie of hem.
3 Pea ke pehē ki he kau ʻAmoni, Fanongo mai ki he folofola ʻa Sihova ko e ʻOtua; ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua; koeʻuhi naʻa ke fakamaʻitoʻa mai ki hoku fale tapu ʻi hono fakalieliaʻi; pea ki he fonua ʻo ʻIsileli ʻi hono fakalala; pea ki he fale ʻo Siuta ʻi hono ʻave ʻakinautolu ke fakapōpulaʻi;
And thou schalt seie to the sones of Amon, Here ye the word of the Lord God; the Lord God seith these thingis, For that that ye seiden, Wel! wel! on my seyntuarie, for it is defoulid, and on the lond of Israel, for it is maad desolat, and on the hous of Juda, for thei ben led in to to caitifte; lo!
4 Vakai, ko ia ia te u tukuange ai koe ki he kakai hahake ke nau maʻu koe, pea te nau fokotuʻu honau nofoʻanga fakaʻeiʻeiki ʻiate koe; mo langa honau ngaahi fale ʻiate koe; te ne kai hoʻo fua, pea te nau inu hoʻo huʻahuhu.
therfor Y schal yyue thee the sones of the eest in to eritage, and thei schulen sette her foldis in thee, and thei shulen sette her tentis in thee; thei schulen ete thi fruytis, and thei schulen drynke thi mylk.
5 Pea te u ngaohi ʻa Lepaa ko e fale kāmeli, pea ko ʻAmoni ko e nofoʻanga ʻoe fanga sipi; pea te mou ʻilo ko Sihova au.
And Y schal yyue Rabath in to a dwellyng place of camels, and the sones of Amon in to a bed of beestis; and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
6 He ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua; koeʻuhi kuo ke pasi ho nima, mo malaki ʻaki ho vaʻe, pea ke fiefia ʻi loto, ko e meʻa ʻi hoʻo fehiʻa lahi ki he fonua ʻo ʻIsileli;
For the Lord God seith these thingis, For that that thou flappidist with hond, and smytidist with the foot, and ioyedist of al desijr on the lond of Israel;
7 Vakai, ko ia ia te u mafao atu ai hoku nima kiate koe, pea te u tuku koe ke veteki ʻe he kakai hiteni; pea te u motuhi ʻakimoutolu mei he kakai, pea te u pule ke ke ʻosiʻosi mei he ngaahi fonua: Te u fakaʻauha koe; pea te ke ʻilo ko Sihova au.”
therfor lo! Y schal stretche forth myn hond on thee, and Y schal yyue thee in to rauyschyng of hethene men, and Y schal sle thee fro puplis, and Y schal leese thee, and al to-breke thee fro londis; and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
8 ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua: “Koeʻuhi ʻoku pehē ʻe Moape, pea mo Seia, Vakai, ʻoku tatau ʻae fale ʻo Siuta mo e hiteni kotoa pē;
The Lord God seith these thingis, For that that Moab and Seir seiden, Lo! the hous of Juda is as alle folkis; therfor lo!
9 Ko ia, vakai, Te u fakaava ʻae feituʻu ʻo Moape mei hono ngaahi kolo, ʻae kolo ʻoku ʻi he ngataʻanga ʻo hono fonua, ʻaia ko e ongoongolelei ʻoe fonua, ʻa Pete-Sesimote mo Pealimeoni, mo Kiliatemi,
Y schal opene the schuldre of Moab of citees, sotheli of citees therof and of the endis therof, the noble citees of the lond, Bethiesmoth, and Beelmoth,
10 Ki he kakai mei he potu hahake ke nau maʻu ia mo e kau ʻAmoni, koeʻuhi ke ʻoua naʻa toe manatuʻi ʻae kau ʻAmoni ʻi he ngaahi puleʻanga.
and Cariathaym, to the sones of the eest, with the sones of Amon. And Y schal yyue it in to eritage, that mynde of the sones of Amon be no more among hethene men,
11 Pea te u fai ʻae tautea ki Moape pea te nau ʻilo ko Sihova au.”
and in Moab Y schal make domes; and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
12 ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua; “Ko e meʻa kuo fai ʻe ʻItomi ki he fale ʻo Siuta ʻi heʻene tautea ia, pea kuo ne fai hala ʻaupito, mo fakafāsifasi ia kiate kinautolu;
The Lord God seith these thingis, For that that Ydumee dide veniaunce, that it avengide it silf of the sones of Juda, and synnede doynge trespas, and axide greetli veniaunce of hem;
13 Ko ia ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua; Te u mafao atu foki ʻeau ʻa hoku nima ki ʻItomi, pea te u fakaʻosi mei ai ʻae tangata pea mo e manu; pea te u ngaohi ia ke lala ʻo fai mei Temani; pea ʻe hinga ʻi he heletā ʻakinautolu ʻoku ʻo Temani.
therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, Y schal stretche forth myn hond on Idumee, and Y schal take awei fro it man and beeste, and Y schal make it desert of the south; and thei that ben in Dedan schulen falle bi swerd.
14 Pea te u ʻai ke hilifaki ʻa hoku houhau ki ʻItomi ʻi he nima ʻo hoku kakai ko ʻIsileli; pea te nau fai ki ʻItomi ʻo hangē ko hoku houhau, pea fakatatau mo ʻeku tuputāmaki; pea te nau ʻilo ʻa hoku houhau,” ʻoku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua.
And Y schal yyue my veniaunce on Idumee, bi the hond of my puple Israel; and thei schulen do in Edom bi my wraththe, and bi my strong veniaunce; and thei schulen knowe my veniaunce, seith the Lord God.
15 ʻOku pehē ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua; “Koeʻuhi kuo fai fakafasifasi ʻae kau Filisitia, ʻonau fai ʻae tautea mo e loto fehiʻa, ke fakaʻauha ia ʻi he fehiʻa ʻe ʻikai ngata;
The Lord God seith these thingis, For that that Palestyns diden veniaunce, and auengiden hem silf, with al wille sleynge, and fillynge elde enemytees;
16 Ko ia ʻoku pehē ai ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua; Vakai, te u mafao atu ʻeau hoku nima ki he kakai Filisitia, pea teu motuhi ʻae kakai Keliti, mo fakaʻauha ʻa hono toe ʻoku ʻi he matātahi.
therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal stretche forth myn hond on Palestyns, and Y schal sle sleeris, and Y schal leese the remenauntis of the se coost;
17 Pea te u fai ʻae totongi lahi kiate kinautolu mo e valoki kakaha; pea te nau ʻilo ko au ko Sihova, ʻo kau ka tuku atu hoku houhau kiate kinautolu.”
and Y schal make grete veniaunces in hem, and Y schal repreue in strong veniaunce; and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord, whanne Y schal yyue my veniaunce on hem.
