< Teutalonome 34 >
Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is opposite Jericho. The LORD showed him all the land of Gilead to Dan,
2 Mo Nafitali kotoa pē, mo e fonua ʻo ʻIfalemi, mo Manase, mo e fonua kotoa pē ʻo Siuta, ʻo aʻu atu ki he tahi lahi,
and all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, to the Western Sea,
3 Pea mo e potu tonga, mo e tafangafanga ʻoe teleʻa ʻo Seliko, ko e kolo ʻoe ngaahi ʻakau ko e ponga, ʻo aʻu ki Soa.
and the south, and the Plain of the valley of Jericho the city of palm trees, to Zoar.
The LORD said to him, “This is the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, ‘I will give it to your offspring.’ I have caused you to see it with your eyes, but you shall not go over there.”
5 Ko ia, naʻe pekia ai ʻa Mōsese, ko e tamaioʻeiki ʻa Sihova ʻi he fonua ʻo Moape, ʻo fakatatau ki he folofola ʻa Sihova.
So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the LORD’s word.
6 Pea naʻa ne tanu ia ʻi he teleʻa ʻi he fonua ʻo Moape, ʻo hangatonu atu ki Pete-Peoli ka ʻoku ʻikai ʻilo ʻe ha tangata ʻa hono tanuʻanga ʻo aʻu ki he ʻaho ni.
He buried him in the valley in the land of Moab opposite Beth Peor, but no man knows where his tomb is to this day.
7 Pea naʻe teau taʻu mo e taʻu ʻe uofulu ʻae motuʻa ʻo Mōsese ʻi heʻene pekia: naʻe ʻikai fakapoʻuli hono mata, pea naʻe ʻikai mahuʻi ʻiate ia ʻa hono mālohi.
Moses was one hundred twenty years old when he died. His eye was not dim, nor his strength gone.
8 Pea naʻe tangi ʻae fānau ʻa ʻIsileli koeʻuhi ko Mōsese ʻi he ngaahi tafangafanga ʻo Moape ʻi he ʻaho ʻe tolungofulu: pea naʻe fakaʻosi ai ʻae ngaahi ʻaho ʻoe tangi mo e fakamamahi koeʻuhi ko Mōsese.
The children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days, until the days of weeping in the mourning for Moses were ended.
9 Pea naʻe fonu ʻa Siosiua ko e foha ʻo Nuni ʻi he laumālie ʻoe poto; he naʻe hilifaki ʻe Mōsese ʻa hono nima kiate ia: pea naʻe tokanga kiate ia ʻe he fānau ʻa ʻIsileli, ke fai ʻo hangē ko e fekau ʻa Sihova kia Mōsese.
Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him. The children of Israel listened to him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses.
10 Pea talu ai pe, kuo ʻikai tuʻu hake ha palōfita ʻi ʻIsileli ʻo hangē ko Mōsese, ʻaia naʻe ʻafioʻi ʻe Sihova ko e mata ki he mata,
Since then, there has not arisen a prophet in Israel like Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face,
11 ʻI he ngaahi fakaʻilonga kotoa pē mo e ngaahi meʻa mana, ʻaia naʻe fekau ia ʻe Sihova ke fai ʻi he fonua ko ʻIsipite kia Felo, pea ki heʻene kau tamaioʻeiki kotoa pē, pea ki hono fonua kotoa pē,
in all the signs and the wonders which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,
12 Pea ʻi he nima māfimafi ko ia, pea ʻi he ngaahi meʻa fakailifia kotoa pē ʻaia naʻe fakahā ʻe Mōsese ʻi he ʻao ʻo ʻIsileli kotoa pē.
and in all the mighty hand, and in all the awesome deeds, which Moses did in the sight of all Israel.
