1 “Pea naʻa tau tafoki, ʻo ʻalu hake ʻi he hala ki Pesani: pea naʻe haʻu kituaʻā ʻa Oki ko e tuʻi ʻo Pesani ke tauʻi ʻakitautolu, ʻaia mo hono kakai kotoa pē, ʻi ʻEtilei.
And we turned and we went up [the] way of Bashan and he came forth Og [the] king of Bashan to meet us he and all people his for battle Edrei.
2 Pea naʻe pehē ʻe Sihova kiate au, ‘ʻOua naʻa ke manavahē kiate ia: he te u tukuange ia, mo hono kakai kotoa pē, mo hono fonua ki ho nima; pea te ke fai kiate ia ʻo hangē ko ia naʻa ke fai kia Sihoni ko e tuʻi ʻoe kau ʻAmoli, ʻaia naʻe nofo ʻi Hesiponi.’
And he said Yahweh to me may not you fear him for in hand your I give him and all people his and land his and you will do to him just as you did to Sihon [the] king of the Amorite[s] who [was] dwelling in Heshbon.
3 “Pea naʻe tukuange ʻe Sihova ko hotau ʻOtua ʻa Oki ko e tuʻi ʻo Pesani ki hotau nima, mo hono kakai kotoa pē: pea naʻa tau teʻia ia ke ʻoua naʻa toe ha tokotaha kiate ia.
And he gave Yahweh God our in hand our also Og [the] king of Bashan and all people his and we struck down him until not he had left to him a survivor.
4 Pea naʻa tau maʻu ʻene ngaahi kolo ʻi he kuonga ko ia, naʻe ʻikai toe ha kolo ʻe taha naʻa tau taʻelavaʻi ʻiate kinautolu, ko e kolo ʻe onongofulu, ko e potu fonua kotoa pē ʻo ʻAkopa, ko e puleʻanga ʻo Oki ʻi Pesani.
And we captured all cities his at the time that not it was a town which not we took from with them sixty citi[es] all [the] region of Argob [the] kingdom of Og in Bashan.
5 Ko e ngaahi kolo ni naʻe ʻāʻi ʻaki ʻae ngaahi ʻā māʻolunga, mo e ngaahi matapā, mo e ngaahi songo; kaeʻumaʻā ʻae ngaahi kolo taʻeʻā naʻe lahi ʻaupito.
All these [were] cities fortified wall high gates and bar[s] apart from [the] cities of the hamlet-dweller[s] many very.
6 Pea naʻa tau fakaʻauha ʻaupito ʻakinautolu, ʻo hangē ko ia naʻa tau fai kia Sihoni ko e tuʻi ʻo Hesiponi, ʻo fakaʻauha ʻae kakai tangata, mo e fefine, mo e fānau, ʻoe kolo kotoa pē.
And we totally destroyed them just as we had done to Sihon [the] king of Heshbon we totally destroyed every city of men the women and the little one[s].
7 Ka ko e fanga manu kotoa pē, mo e vete ʻoe ngaahi kolo, naʻa tau toʻo ko e koloa maʻatautolu.
And all the livestock and [the] booty of the cities we plundered for ourselves.
8 “Pea naʻa tau maʻu ʻi he kuonga ko ia mei he nima ʻoe ongo tuli ʻoe kakai ʻAmoli, ʻae ngaahi fonua ʻoku ʻi he potu mai ʻo Sioatani, mei he vaitafe ʻo ʻAlanoni ʻo aʻu atu ki he moʻunga ko Heamoni;
And we took at the time that the land from [the] hand of [the] two [the] kings of the Amorite[s] who [were] on [the] other side of the Jordan from [the] wadi of Arnon to [the] mountain of Hermon.
9 (ʻAe Heamoni ko ia ʻoku ui ʻe he kau Saitoni ko Silioni; pea ʻoku ui ia ʻe he kakai ʻAmoli ko Sina; )
[the] Sidonians They call Hermon Sirion and the Amorite[s] they call it Senir.
10 Ko e ngaahi kolo kotoa pē ʻoe toafa, mo Kiliati kotoa pē, mo Pesani kotoa pē, ʻo aʻu ki Salika mo ʻEtilei, ko e ngaahi kolo ʻoe puleʻanga ʻo Oki ko e tuʻi ʻo Pesani.”
All - [the] cities of the plain and all Gilead and all Bashan to Salecah and Edrei [the] cities of [the] kingdom of Og in Bashan.
11 He naʻe toe pe ʻa Oki ko e tuʻi ʻo Pesani ʻi he toenga kakai lalahi; vakai, ko hono mohenga ko e mohenga ukamea; ʻikai ʻoku ʻi Lapate ia ʻoe fānau ʻa ʻAmoni? Ko e hanga ʻe hongofulu ma valu ʻa hono lōloa, pea ko hono māukupu ko e hanga ʻe valu, ʻo fakatatau ki he hanga ʻoe tangata.
For only Og [the] king of Bashan he survived from [the] remnant of the Rephaites there! sarcophagus his [was] a sarcophagus of iron ¿ not [is] it in Rabbah of [the] people of Ammon [was] nine cubits length its and [was] four cubits breadth its by a cubit of a human.

And the land this we took possession of at the time that from Aroer which [was] at [the] wadi of Arnon and [the] half of [the] hill country of Gilead and cities its I gave to the Reubenite[s] and to the Gadite[s].

And [the] remainder of Gilead and all Bashan [the] kingdom of Og I gave to [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh all [the] region of Argob to all Bashan it it was called [the] land of [the] Rephaites.

Jair [the] son of Manasseh he took all [the] region of Argob to [the] border of the Geshurite[s] and the Maacathite[s] and he called them on own name his Bashan [the] villages of Jair until the day this.

And to Makir I gave Gilead.
16 Pea ne u ʻatu ki he faʻahinga ʻo Lupeni mo e faʻahinga ʻo Kata mei Kiliati ʻo aʻu atu ki he vaitafe ko ʻAlanoni hono vaeua ʻoe vahaʻa moʻunga, mo hono mata fonua ʻo aʻu atu ki he vaitafe ko Sapoki, ʻaia ʻoku ʻi he veʻe fonua ʻoe fānau ʻa ʻAmoni:
And to the Reubenite[s] and to the Gadite[s] I gave from Gilead and to [the] wadi of Arnon [the] middle of the wadi and a border and to Jabbok the wadi [is] [the] border of [the] people of Ammon.

And the Arabah and the Jordan and a border from Kinnereth and to [the] sea of the Arabah [the] Sea of Salt under [the] slopes of Pisgah east-ward.
18 “Pea ne u fekau kiate kimoutolu ʻi he kuonga ko ia, ʻo pehē, ‘Ko Sihova ko homou ʻOtua kuo ne foaki kiate kimoutolu ʻae fonua ni ke mou maʻu: te mou ʻalu atu mo e mahafu ʻi he ʻao ʻo homou kāinga ko e fānau ʻa ʻIsileli, ʻakimoutolu kotoa pē ʻoku faʻa fai ʻae tau.
And I commanded you at the time that saying Yahweh God your he has given to you the land this to take possession of it equipped you will pass over before countrymen your [the] people of Israel O all [the] sons of strength.
19 Ka ko homou ngaahi uaifi, mo hoʻomou fānau siʻi, mo hoʻomou fanga manu, (he ʻoku ou ʻilo ʻoku lahi hoʻomou fanga manu, ) tenau nofo ʻi hoʻomou ngaahi kolo ʻaia kuo u foaki kiate kimoutolu;
Only wives your and little one[s] your and livestock your I know that livestock much [belongs] to you they will remain in cities your which I have given to you.
20 Ke ʻoua ke foaki ʻe Sihova ʻae mālōlō ki homou kāinga, ʻo hangē ko kimoutolu, pea ke ʻoua ke maʻu ʻekinautolu foki ʻae fonua ko ia kuo foaki ʻe Sihova ko homou ʻOtua kiate kinautolu ʻi he kauvai ʻe taha ʻo Sioatani: pea te mou toki liu mai ʻae tangata kotoa pē ki hono tofiʻa, ʻaia kuo u tuku kiate kimoutolu.’
Until that he will give rest Yahweh - to countrymen your like you and they will take possession of also they the land which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to them on [the] other side of the Jordan and you will return everyone to possession his which I have given to you.
21 “Pea ne u fekauʻi ʻa Siosiua ʻi he kuonga ko ia, ʻo pehē, ‘Kuo mamata ʻe ho mata ki he meʻa kotoa pē kuo fai ʻe Sihova ko homou ʻOtua ki he ongo tuʻi ni: ʻe fai pehē pe ʻe Sihova ki he ngaahi puleʻanga kotoa pē ʻoku ke ʻalu ki ai.
And Joshua I commanded at the time that saying eyes your [are] the [ones which] have seen all that he did Yahweh God your to [the] two the kings these thus he will do Yahweh to all the kingdoms where you [are] about to pass over there.
22 ʻOua naʻa mou manavahē kiate kinautolu: he koeʻuhi ʻe tau ʻa Sihova ko homou ʻOtua maʻamoutolu.’
Not you must fear them for Yahweh God your he [is] the [one who] will fight for you.
23 “Pea ne u fakakolekole kia Sihova ʻi he kuonga ko ia, ʻo pehē,
And I sought favor to Yahweh at the time that saying.
24 ‘ʻE Sihova ko e ʻOtua, kuo ke kamata fakahā ki hoʻo tamaioʻeiki ho lahi, mo ho nima mālohi; he ko hai ha ʻOtua ʻi langi pe ʻi māmani, ʻoku faʻa fai ʻo fakatatau ki hoʻo ngaahi ngāue, pea tatau mo ho māfimafi?
O Lord Yahweh you you have begun to show servant your greatness your and hand your strong that who? [is] God in the heavens and on the earth who he will do like works your and like mighty deeds your.
25 ʻOku ou kole kiate koe, tuku au ke u ʻalu atu, ʻo mamata ki he fonua lelei ʻaia ʻoku ʻituʻa Sioatani, ʻae moʻunga matamatalelei ko ia, mo Lepanoni.’
Let me pass over please so I may see the land good which [is] on [the] other side of the Jordan the hill country good this and Lebanon.
26 Ka naʻe houhau ʻa Sihova kiate au koeʻuhi ko kimoutolu, pea naʻe ʻikai tokanga kiate au: pea naʻe pehē mai ʻe Sihova kiate au, ‘Ke ke fiemālie pe koe; pea ʻoua naʻa ke toe lea kiate au ʻi he meʻa ni.
And he was furious Yahweh with me on account of you and not he listened to me and he said Yahweh to me enough for you may not you repeat to speak to me again in the matter this.
27 ʻAlu hake koe ki he tumutumu ʻo Pisika, pea hanga atu ho mata ki lulunga, mo tokelau, mo tonga, mo hihifo, pea vakai ʻaki ia ho mata: koeʻuhi ʻe ʻikai te ke laka ki he kauvai ʻe taha ʻo Sioatani.
Go up - [the] top of Pisgah and lift up eyes your west-ward and north-ward and south-ward and east-ward and see with own eyes your that not you will pass over the Jordan this.
28 Ka ke fekauʻi ʻa Siosiua, mo tokoni lelei kiate ia, mo fakamālohi ia: koeʻuhi ʻe muʻomuʻa ia ʻi he kakai ni, pea te ne fakahoko atu ʻakinautolu kenau maʻu ʻae fonua ʻaia te ke mamata ki ai.’
And commission Joshua and encourage him and strengthen him for he he will pass over before the people this and he he will give as an inheritance them the land which you will see.
29 “Pea naʻa tau nofo ai ʻi he potu māʻulalo ʻoku hangatonu ki Pete Peoli.”
And we remained in the valley opposite to Beth Peor.
