And Moses with the elders of Israel commanded the people saying, —Observe all the commandment which I am commanding you to-day.
2 Pea ʻe hoko ʻo pehē, ʻi he ʻaho ko ia te mou ʻalu ai ki he kauvai ʻe taha ʻo Sioatani ki he fonua ʻaia ʻoku foaki kiate koe ʻe Sihova ko ho ʻOtua, te ke fokotuʻu ai ʻae ngaahi maka lahi maʻau, pea ke ʻaofi ʻaki ia ʻae lahe:
So then it shall be in the day when ye shall pass over the Jordan, into the land which Yahweh thy God is giving unto thee, —that thou shalt rear thee up great stones, and plaster them with plaster;

and shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou shalt pass over, —to the end that thou mayest enter upon the land which Yahweh thy God is giving unto thee a land flowing with milk and honey, as Yahweh the God of thy fathers hath spoken unto thee.
4 Ko ia ʻe hoko ʻo pehē, ʻi hoʻomou ʻalu ki he kauvai ʻe taha ʻo Sioatani, te mou fokotuʻu ʻae ngaahi maka ni, ʻo hangē ko ʻeku fekau kiate kimoutolu he ʻaho ni, ʻi he moʻunga ko Ipale, pea te ke ʻaofi ʻaki ia ʻae lahe.

And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel saying, —Keep silence and hear O Israel, This day, hast thou been made a people unto Yahweh thy God.
10 Ko ia ke ke fai talangofua ai ki he leʻo ʻo Sihova ko ho ʻOtua, pea fai ki heʻene ngaahi fekau mo ʻene ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni, ʻaia ʻoku ou fekau kiate koe he ʻaho ni.”
