< Teutalonome 16 >
1 “Tokanga ki he māhina ko ʻApipi, pea fai ai ʻae Lakaatu kia Sihova ko ho ʻOtua: koeʻuhi naʻe ʻomi koe ʻe Sihova ko ho ʻOtua mei ʻIsipite ʻi he poʻuli ʻi he māhina ko ʻApipi.
Observe the month of Abib, and keep the Passover to the LORD your God; for in the month of Abib the LORD your God brought you out of Egypt by night.
2 Ko ia ke ke feilaulau ʻaki ʻae Lakaatu kia Sihova ko ho ʻOtua, mei he fanga manu siʻi mo e fanga manu lalahi, ʻi he potu ko ia ʻe fili ʻe Sihova ke ʻai ki ai hono huafa.
You shall sacrifice the Passover to the LORD your God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which the LORD shall choose to cause his name to dwell there.
3 ʻOua naʻa ke kai mo ia ʻae mā kuo fakalēvani: ke ke kai ia mo e mā taʻefakalēvani ʻi he ʻaho ʻe fitu, ʻio, ʻae mā ʻoe fakamamahi; he naʻa ke haʻu kituʻa mei he fonua ko ʻIsipite ʻi he fakatoʻotoʻo: koeʻuhi ke ke manatu ai ki he ʻaho naʻa ke haʻu ai mei he fonua ko ʻIsipite ʻi he ʻaho kotoa pē ʻo hoʻo moʻui ni.
You shall eat no leavened bread with it. You shall eat unleavened bread with it seven days, even the bread of affliction (for you came out of the land of Egypt in haste) that you may remember the day when you came out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life.
4 Pea ʻoua naʻa ʻilo ʻiate koe ha mā kuo fakalēvani ʻi ho fonua kotoa pē ʻi he ʻaho ʻe fitu; pea ko e kakano ʻoku feilaulau ʻaki ʻi he efiafi ʻoe ʻuluaki ʻaho, ʻoua naʻa tuku hono toe ʻi he pō ko ia ki he pongipongi.
No yeast shall be seen with you in all your borders seven days; neither shall any of the meat, which you sacrifice the first day at evening, remain all night until the morning.
5 ʻOku ʻikai ngofua ke tāmateʻi ʻae Lakaatu ʻi ho ngaahi lotoʻā kotoa pē, ʻaia ʻoku foaki ʻe Sihova ko ho ʻOtua kiate koe:
You may not sacrifice the Passover within any of your gates which the LORD your God gives you;
6 Ka ʻi he potu ko ia ʻaia ʻe fili ʻe Sihova ko ho ʻOtua ke ʻai ki ai hono huafa, ko e potu ko ia ke ke feilaulau ʻaki ʻi ai ʻae Lakaatu ʻi he efiafi, ʻi he ʻalu hifo ʻae laʻā, ʻi he feituʻu naʻa ke haʻu ai kituʻa mei ʻIsipite.
but at the place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell in, there you shall sacrifice the Passover at evening, at the going down of the sun, at the season that you came out of Egypt.
7 Pea te ke toʻo ʻo kai ia ʻi he potu ʻaia ʻe fili ʻe Sihova ko ho ʻOtua: pea te ke foki ʻi he pongipongi ʻo ʻalu ki ho ngaahi fale fehikitaki.
You shall roast and eat it in the place which the LORD your God chooses. In the morning you shall return to your tents.
8 Ko e ʻaho ʻe ono ke ke kai mā taʻefakalēvani: pea ke fai ʻi hono fitu ʻoe ʻaho ʻae fakataha māʻoniʻoni kia Sihova ko ho ʻOtua: ʻoua naʻa ke fai ai ha ngāue ʻe taha.
Six days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to the LORD your God. You shall do no work.
9 “Ke ke lau kiate koe ʻae uike ʻe fitu ke ke kamata hoʻo lau ʻae uike ʻe fitu mei he ʻaho ʻoku ke fuofua ʻai ʻae helepiko [ke tuʻusi ]ʻae uite.
You shall count for yourselves seven weeks. From the time you begin to put the sickle to the standing grain you shall begin to count seven weeks.
10 Pea ke tauhi ʻae kātoanga ʻoe ngaahi uike kia Sihova ko ho ʻOtua ʻaki ʻae feilaulau ʻoe meʻa loto lelei mei ho nima, ʻaia ke ke ʻatu ʻo fakatatau ki he tāpuakiʻi koe ʻe Sihova ko ho ʻOtua:
You shall keep the feast of weeks to the LORD your God with a tribute of a free will offering of your hand, which you shall give according to how the LORD your God blesses you.
11 Pea te ke fiefia ko e ʻi he ʻao ʻo Sihova ko ho ʻOtua, ʻa koe, mo ho foha, mo ho ʻofefine, mo hoʻo tamaioʻeiki, mo hoʻo kaunanga, mo e Livai ʻaia ʻoku ʻi hoʻo kolo, mo e muli, mo e tamai mate, mo e uitou, ʻaia ʻoku ʻiate kimoutolu, ʻi he potu ʻaia ʻe fili ʻe Sihova ko ho ʻOtua ke ʻai ki ai hono huafa.
You shall rejoice before the LORD your God: you, your son, your daughter, your male servant, your female servant, the Levite who is within your gates, the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow who are among you, in the place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there.
12 Pea te ke manatu naʻa ke pōpula koe ʻi ʻIsipite: pea te ke tokanga mo fai ʻae ngaahi tuʻutuʻuni ko eni.
You shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt. You shall observe and do these statutes.
13 “Ke ke tokanga ki he kātoanga ʻoe ngaahi fale fehikitaki ʻi he ʻaho ʻe fitu, ʻi he hili hoʻo tānaki hoʻo uite mo hoʻo uaine.
You shall keep the feast of booths seven days, after you have gathered in from your threshing floor and from your wine press.
14 Pea te ke fiefia ʻi hoʻo kātoanga, ʻa koe, mo ho foha, mo ho ʻofefine, mo hoʻo tamaioʻeiki, mo hoʻo kaunanga, mo e Livai, mo e muli, mo e tamai mate, mo e fefine paea, ʻaia ʻoku ʻi ho lotoʻā.
You shall rejoice in your feast, you, your son, your daughter, your male servant, your female servant, the Levite, the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow who are within your gates.
15 Ke ke tauhi ʻae kātoanga māʻoniʻoni ʻi he ʻaho ʻe fitu kia Sihova ko ho ʻOtua ʻi he potu ʻaia ʻe fili ʻe Sihova: koeʻuhi ʻe tāpuakiʻi koe ʻe Sihova ko ho ʻOtua ʻi hoʻo tupu meʻa kotoa pē, pea ʻi he ngaahi ngāue kotoa pē ʻa ho nima, ko ia ke ke fiefia moʻoni ai.
You shall keep a feast to the LORD your God seven days in the place which the LORD chooses, because the LORD your God will bless you in all your increase and in all the work of your hands, and you shall be altogether joyful.
16 “ʻE liunga tolu ʻi he taʻu ʻae fakahā ʻa hoʻo kakai tangata kotoa pē ʻi he ʻao ʻo Sihova ko ho ʻOtua ʻi he potu ʻaia ʻe fili ʻe ia; ʻi ho kātoanga ʻoe mā taʻefakalēvani, pea ʻi he kātoanga ʻoe ngaahi uike, pea ʻi he kātoanga ʻoe ngaahi fale fehikitaki: pea ʻoua naʻa mou haʻu mola pe ʻakimoutolu ʻi he ʻao ʻo Sihova:
Three times in a year all of your males shall appear before the LORD your God in the place which he chooses: in the feast of unleavened bread, in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of booths. They shall not appear before the LORD empty.
17 ʻE foaki ʻe he tangata kotoa pē ʻo fakatatau mo ʻene mafai, ʻo taau mo e tāpuaki ʻa Sihova ko ho ʻOtua ʻaia kuo ne foaki kiate koe.
Every man shall give as he is able, according to the LORD your God’s blessing which he has given you.
18 “Ke ke fakanofo ʻae kau fakamaau mo e kau matāpule kiate koe ʻi hoʻo ngaahi kolo kotoa pē, ʻaia ʻoku tuku kiate koe ʻe Sihova ko ho ʻOtua, ʻi ho ngaahi faʻahinga kotoa pē: pea kenau fakamaau ʻae kakai ʻi he fakamaau angatonu.
You shall make judges and officers in all your gates, which the LORD your God gives you, according to your tribes; and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment.
19 ʻOua naʻa ke fakahalaʻi ʻae fakamaau; ʻoua naʻa ke filifilimānako ki he tangata, pe maʻu ha tukungoue: he ʻoku fakakui ʻe he meʻa foaki ʻae mata ʻoe poto, mo ne fakahalaʻi ʻae lea ʻae angatonu.
You shall not pervert justice. You shall not show partiality. You shall not take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the words of the righteous.
20 Ko ia ʻoku mātuʻaki angatonu ke ke muimui ki ai, koeʻuhi ke ke moʻui ai koe, pea maʻu ʻae fonua ʻaia ʻoku foaki ʻe Sihova ko ho ʻOtua kiate koe.
You shall follow that which is altogether just, that you may live and inherit the land which the LORD your God gives you.
21 “ʻE ʻikai te ke tō ʻe koe ha ngaahi ʻakau ke ofi ki he feilaulauʻanga ʻo Sihova ko ho ʻOtua, ʻaia te ke ngaohi kiate koe.
You shall not plant for yourselves an Asherah of any kind of tree beside the LORD your God’s altar, which you shall make for yourselves.
22 Pea ʻe ʻikai te ke fokotuʻu kiate koe ha meʻa fakatātā; ʻaia ʻoku fehiʻa ki ai ʻa Sihova ko ho ʻOtua.
Neither shall you set yourself up a sacred stone which the LORD your God hates.
