< Teutalonome 15 >
1 “ʻI he ngataʻanga ʻo hono fitu ʻoe taʻu kotoa pē ke ke fai ʻae vete ange.
From [the] end of seven years you will observe a remission.
2 Pea ko hono anga ʻoe vete ange eni: Ko ia kotoa pē naʻe nō atu ha meʻa ki hono kaungāʻapi ke vete ʻe ia ia; ʻoua naʻa ʻeke ia ʻi hono kaungāʻapi, pe ki hono tokoua; koeʻuhi ʻoku ui ia ko e vete ange kia Sihova.
And this [is] [the] manner of the remission he will remit every owner [the] loan of hand his which he will lend to neighbor his not he will press neighbor his and countryman his for someone has proclaimed a remission of Yahweh.
3 ʻE ngofua ʻa hoʻo ʻeke ia ki he muli ka ko ia ʻoku ʻaʻau mo ho tokoua ʻe tukuange ia ʻe ho nima;
The foreigner you will press and [that] which it will belong to you with countryman your let it release hand your.
Nevertheless for not he will be among you a needy [person] for surely he will bless you Yahweh in the land which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to you an inheritance to take possession of it.
5 ʻO kapau te ke fanongo lelei ki he leʻo ʻo Sihova ko ho ʻOtua, ke tokanga ʻo fai ʻae ngaahi fekau ni kotoa pē ʻaia ʻoku ou fekau kiate koe he ʻaho ni.
Only certainly [if] you will listen to [the] voice of Yahweh God your to take care to observe all the commandment this which I [am] commanding you this day.
6 He ʻoku tāpuakiʻi koe ʻe Sihova ko ho ʻOtua, ʻo hangē ko ʻene talaʻofa kiate koe: pea te ke nō atu ki he ngaahi puleʻanga lahi, ka ʻe ʻikai te ke nō mai; pea te ke pule koe ki he ngaahi puleʻanga lahi, ka ʻe ʻikai tenau pule kiate koe.
For Yahweh God your he has blessed you just as he spoke to you and you will lend to nations many and you not you will borrow and you will rule over nations many and over you not they will rule.
7 “Kapau ʻe ʻiate kimoutolu ha tangata masiva ʻi ho kāinga ʻi he ngaahi matanikolo ʻo ho fonua ʻaia ʻoku foaki ʻe Sihova ko ho ʻOtua kiate koe, ʻoua naʻa ke fakafefeka ho loto, pe tāpuni ho nima ki ho tokoua masiva:
If he will be among you a needy [person] any one of countrymen your in one of gates your in land your which Yahweh God your [is] about to give to you not you will harden heart your and not you will shut hand your from countryman your needy.
8 Ka te ke mafola ke lahi ho nima kiate ia, pea ke nō atu moʻoni kiate ia ke tatau mo ʻene masiva, ʻaia ʻoku ne masiva ai.
For certainly you will open hand your to him and certainly you will lend to him sufficiency of lack his which it will be lacking to him.
9 Vakai telia naʻa ai ha mahalo ʻi ho loto kovi, ʻo pehē, ʻOku ofi ʻa hono fitu ʻoe taʻu, ko e taʻu ʻoe vete ange: pea kovi ai ho mata ki ho tokoua masiva, pea ʻoku ʻikai te ke tuku ha meʻa kiate ia; pea tangi lāunga ai ia kia Sihova ʻiate koe, pea hoko ia ko e angahala kiate koe.
Take heed to yourself lest it should be a word with heart your worthlessness saying it has drawn near [the] year of the seven [the] year of the remission and it will be evil eye your on countryman your needy and not you will give to him and he will call out against you to Yahweh and it will be on you sin.
10 Ko e moʻoni te ke foaki kiate ia, pea ʻoua naʻa mamahi ho loto ʻi hoʻo foaki kiate ia: he koeʻuhi ko e meʻa ni ʻe tāpuaki ai koe ʻe Sihova ko ho ʻOtua ʻi hoʻo ngaahi ngāue kotoa pē, pea ʻi he meʻa kotoa pē ʻoku mafao atu ho nima ki ai.
Certainly you will give to him and not it will sadden heart your when giving you to him for on account of - the thing this he will bless you Yahweh God your in all work your and in every undertaking of hand your.
11 Koeʻuhi ʻe ʻikai ʻaupito ngata ʻae masiva mei ho fonua: ko ia ʻoku ou fekauʻi koe, ʻo pehē, Ke ke mafola ho nima ʻo lahi ki ho tokoua, ki he masiva, mo ia ʻoku tuʻutāmaki, ʻi ho fonua.
For not he will cease [the] needy from [the] midst of the land there-fore I [am] commanding you saying certainly you will open hand your to countryman your to poor [person] your and to needy [person] your in land your.
12 “Pea kapau kuo fakatau kiate koe ho tokoua, ko e tangata Hepelū, pe ko e fefine Hepelū, ʻo ne tauhi koe ʻi he taʻu ʻe ono; ke ke toki tukuange ia ke ʻataʻatā meiate koe ʻi hono fitu ʻoe taʻu.
If he will sell himself to you countryman your Hebrew [masc] or Hebrew [fem] and he will serve you six years and in the year seventh you will let go him a free [person] from with you.
13 Pea ʻoka ke ka fekau ia ke ʻalu ʻo ʻataʻatā meiate koe, ʻoua naʻa ke tuku ia ke ʻalu masiva;
And if you will let go him a free [person] from with you not you will let go him emptily.
14 Ka te ke tuku ʻae meʻa lahi kiate ia mei hoʻo fanga manu, pea mei hoʻo hahaʻanga, pea mei hoʻo tataʻoʻanga uaine: ʻi he meʻa ʻaia kuo tāpuakiʻi ai koe ʻe Sihova ko ho ʻOtua te ke ʻatu kiate ia.
Certainly you will provide for him from flock your and from threshing floor your and from wine-press your [that] which he has blessed you Yahweh God your you will give to him.
15 Pea ke manatu ko e tangata pōpula koe ʻi he fonua ko ʻIsipite, pea naʻe huhuʻi koe ʻe Sihova ko ho ʻOtua: ko ia ʻoku ou fekau ai ʻae meʻa ni kiate koe he ʻaho ni.
And you will remember that a slave you were in [the] land of Egypt and he redeemed you Yahweh God your there-fore I [am] commanding you the matter this this day.
16 Pea ʻe pehē, kapau ʻe pehē ʻe ia kiate koe, ʻE ʻikai te u ʻalu ʻiate koe; ko e meʻa ʻi heʻene ʻofa kiate koe mo ho fale, pea ko e meʻa ʻi heʻene lelei ʻiate koe;
And it will be that he will say to you not I will go out from with you for he loves you and household your for it has been good for him with you.
17 Te ke toki toʻo mai ha vili, pea tui ʻaki ia hono telinga [ke maʻu ki ]he matapā, pea ʻe hoko ia ko hoʻo tamaioʻeiki ʻo taʻengata. Pea ke fai pehē foki ki hoʻo kaunanga.
And you will take the awl and you will put [it] in ear his and in the door and he will be of you a slave of perpetuity and also to maidservant your you will do thus.
18 ʻOua naʻa matamata faingataʻa kiate koe, ʻoka ke ka tukuange ia ke ʻalu ʻo ʻataʻatā meiate koe; he naʻe tatau ia kiate koe mo e tamaioʻeiki ʻe toko ua ʻoku ngāue ki he totongi, ʻi heʻene tauhi koe ʻi he taʻu ʻe ono: pea ʻe tāpuaki koe ʻe Sihova ko ho ʻOtua ʻi he meʻa kotoa pē ʻoku ke fai.
Not it will be hard in view your when letting go you him a free [person] from with you for double [the] hire of a hired laborer he has served you six years and he will bless you Yahweh God your in all that you will do.
Every firstborn which it will be born in herd your and in flock your the male you will consecrate to Yahweh God your not you will labor by [the] firstborn of ox[en] your and not you will shear [the] firstborn of sheep your.
20 Ka ke kai ia, ʻi he ʻao ʻo Sihova ko ho ʻOtua, ʻe koe mo ho fale kotoa, ʻi he taʻu tukufakaholo kotoa pē, ʻi he potu ʻaia ʻe fili ʻe Sihova.
Before Yahweh God your you will eat it a year in a year in the place which he will choose Yahweh you and household your.
21 Pea kapau ʻoku ai hano mele, kapau ʻoku ketu, pe kui, pe[ʻi ai ]ha lavea kovi, ʻoua naʻa ke feilaulau ʻaki ia kia Sihova ko ho ʻOtua.
And if it will be in it a blemish lame or blind any blemish bad not you will sacrifice it to Yahweh God your.
22 Ke ke kai ia ʻi ho lotoʻā: ʻe fakatou kai ʻi ai ʻae taʻemaʻa mo e maʻa, ʻo hangē ko e ʻanitelope, mo e haʻate.
In gates your you will eat it the unclean and the clean alike like gazelle and like deer.
23 Kaeʻoua naʻa ke kai ʻa hono toto ka ke lilingi ia ki he kelekele ʻo hangē ko e vai.
Only blood its not you must eat on the ground you will pour out it like water.
