< 2 Tesalonaika 3 >

1 ‌ʻE Kāinga, ko hono fakaʻosi, mou hūfia ʻakimautolu, koeʻuhi ke lele atu ʻae folofola ʻae ʻEiki, pea ongoongolelei ia, ʻo hangē ko ia ʻiate kimoutolu:
Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, even as also with you;
2 Pea koeʻuhi ke fakahaofi ʻakimautolu mei he kakai taʻeʻatamai mo angakovi: ke ʻoku ʻikai maʻu kotoa pē ʻae tui.
and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil people; for not all have faith.
3 Ka ʻoku moʻoni ʻae ʻEiki, ʻaia te ne fakatuʻumaʻu pea fakamoʻui ʻakimoutolu mei he kovi.
But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you, and guard you from the evil one.
4 Pea ʻoku mau falala ki he ʻEiki koeʻuhi ko kimoutolu, ʻoku mou fai, pea te mou fai pe, ʻae ngaahi meʻa ʻoku mau fekau kiate kimoutolu.
We have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you both do and will do the things we command.
5 Pea ke fakahinohino homou loto ʻe he ʻEiki ki he ʻofa ʻae ʻOtua, pea mo e faʻa kātaki ʻa Kalaisi.
May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patience of Meshikha.
6 Pea ko eni, ʻe kāinga, ʻoku mau fekau kiate kimoutolu, ʻi he huafa ʻo hotau ʻEiki ko Sisu Kalaisi, ke mou mavahe ʻakimoutolu mei he kāinga kotoa pē ʻoku ʻeveʻeva taʻetotonu, pea ʻikai tatau mo e fekau naʻa ne maʻu meiate kimoutolu.
Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Yeshua Meshikha, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother who lives an undisciplined life, and not after the tradition which they received from us.
7 He ʻoku mou ʻilo, ʻoku totonu ke mou faʻifaʻitaki kiate kimautolu: he naʻe ʻikai te mau fai taʻetotonu ʻiate kimoutolu;
For you know how you ought to imitate us. For we were not undisciplined among you,
8 Pe temau kai taʻetotongi ʻae mā ʻa ha tokotaha; ka naʻa mau fai ʻae ngaue mo feinga ʻi he pō mo e ʻaho, koeʻuhi ke ʻoua naʻa mau fakamasivaʻi ha taha ʻokimoutolu:
neither did we eat bread from anyone's hand without paying for it, but in labor and travail worked night and day, that we might not burden any of you;
9 Ka naʻe ʻikai koeʻuhi ʻoku taʻetotonu kiate kimautolu, ka ke mau hoko ko e fakaʻilonga ke mou faʻifaʻitaki kiate kimautolu.
not because we do not have the right, but to make ourselves an example to you, that you should imitate us.
10 Ka ʻi he ʻemau ʻiate kimoutolu, naʻa mau fekau eni kiate kimoutolu, “Kapau ʻe ʻikai fie ngaue ha taha, pea ʻoua naʻa ne kai.”
For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: "If anyone will not work, neither let him eat."
11 He ʻoku mau fanongo ki ha niʻihi ʻiate kimoutolu ʻoku ʻeveʻeva taʻetotonu, ʻo ʻikai siʻi ngaue, ka ko e kau kaunoa.
For we hear that some among you are living an undisciplined life, who do not work at all, but are busybodies.
12 Pea ko kinautolu ʻoku pehē, ʻoku mau fekaua mo enginaki, ʻi hotau ʻEiki ko Sisu Kalaisi, ke nau ngaue fakalongo pe, pea kai ʻae maʻanautolu pe.
Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Yeshua Meshikha, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
13 Ka ko kimoutolu, ʻe kāinga, ʻoua naʻa mou fiu ʻi he fai lelei.
But you, brothers, do not be weary in doing well.
14 Pea kapau ʻoku ʻikai talangofua ha taha ki he ʻemau fekau ʻi he tohi ni, fakaʻilongaʻi ʻae tangata ko ia, pea ʻoua naʻa fakataha mo ia, koeʻuhi ke mā ai ia.
If anyone does not obey our word in this letter, note that person, that you have no company with him, to the end that he may be ashamed.
15 Kae ʻoua naʻa lau ia ko e fili, kae valokiʻi ʻo taau mo ha kāinga.
Do not count him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
16 Ko eni, ʻofa ke foaki ʻe he ʻEiki ʻoe melino ʻae melino maʻuaipē kiate kimoutolu ʻi he meʻa kotoa pē. Ke ʻiate kimoutolu kotoa pē ʻae ʻEiki.
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all.
17 Ko e tohi ʻofa eni ʻa Paula ʻaki hoku nima ʻoʻoku, ʻaia ko e fakaʻilonga ʻi he ngaahi tohi kotoa pē: ʻoku pehē pe ʻeku tohi.
The greeting of me, Paul, with my own hand, which is the sign in every letter: this is how I write.
18 Ko e ʻaloʻofa ʻa hotau ʻEiki ko Sisu Kalaisi ke ʻiate kimoutolu kotoa pē. ʻEmeni.
The grace of our Lord Yeshua Meshikha be with you all.
