and to say David to(wards) Nathan to sin to/for LORD and to say Nathan to(wards) David also LORD to pass: bring sin your not to die
14 Ka ko eni, koeʻuhi kuo ke tuku ha tuʻunga ʻi he meʻa ni ke lauʻikovi ai ʻa Sihova ʻe hono ngaahi fili, ʻe mate moʻoni ʻae tamasiʻi kuo fanauʻi kiate koe.”

18 Pea naʻe hoko ʻo pehē, naʻe pekia ʻae tamasiʻi ki hono fitu ʻoe ʻaho. Pea naʻe manavahē ʻae kau tamaioʻeiki ʻa Tevita ke tala kiate ia kuo pekia ʻae tamasiʻi: he naʻa nau pehē, “Vakai, ʻi heʻene kei moʻui ʻae tamasiʻi, naʻa mau lea kiate ia, pea naʻe ʻikai fie tokanga ia ki homau leʻo: kae huanoa ʻa ʻene fakamamahi ia, ʻo kapau te mau tala kiate ia kuo pekia ʻae tamasiʻi?”
and to be in/on/with day [the] seventh and to die [the] youth and to fear servant/slave David to/for to tell to/for him for to die [the] youth for to say behold in/on/with to be [the] youth alive to speak: speak to(wards) him and not to hear: hear in/on/with voice our and how? to say to(wards) him to die [the] youth and to make: do distress: harm

and to see: see David for servant/slave his to whisper and to understand David for to die [the] youth and to say David to(wards) servant/slave his to die [the] youth and to say to die
20 Pea naʻe toki tuʻu hake ʻa Tevita mei he kelekele, pea ne kaukau mo tākai ia, pea naʻa ne fetongi hono kofu, pea naʻe haʻu ia ki he fale ʻo Sihova, pea fai ʻene hū: pea hili ia naʻa ne haʻu ki hono fale ʻoʻona; pea ʻi he fai ʻene fekau, naʻa nau ʻomi ʻae meʻakai ki hono ʻao, pea naʻa ne kai.
and to arise: rise David from [the] land: soil and to wash: wash and to anoint and to pass (mantle his *Q(K)*) and to come (in): come house: temple LORD and to bow and to come (in): come to(wards) house: home his and to ask and to set: make to/for him food and to eat
21 Pea naʻe toki pehē ai ʻe heʻene kau tamaioʻeiki kiate ia, “Ko e hā ʻae meʻa ko eni ʻaia kuo ke fai? Naʻa ke ʻaukai mo tangi koeʻuhi ko e tamasiʻi ʻi heʻene kei moʻui; ka ʻi heʻene pekia ʻae tamasiʻi, naʻa ke tuʻu hake mo ke kai ʻae meʻakai.”

22 Pea naʻe pehēange ʻe ia, “Lolotonga ʻae kei moʻui ʻae tamasiʻi, naʻaku ʻaukai mo tangi: he naʻaku pehē, Ko hai ʻoku ʻilo, naʻa ʻaloʻofa ʻae ʻOtua kiate au, koeʻuhi ke moʻui ʻae tamasiʻi?
and to say in/on/with still [the] youth alive to fast and to weep for to say who? to know (and be gracious me *Q(K)*) LORD and to live [the] youth
23 Ka ko eni kuo ne mate, pea ko e ʻumaʻā ʻeku ʻaukai? He te u faʻa fai ke toe omi ia? Te u ʻalu atu kiate ia ka e ʻikai toe haʻu ia kiate au.

24 Pea naʻe fakafiemālieʻi ʻe Tevita ʻa hono uaifi ko Patisepa, pea naʻa ne ʻalu ange kiate ia, mo ne mohe mo ia: pea naʻa ne fanauʻi ʻae tama tangata, pea naʻa ne fakahingoa ia ko Solomone pea naʻe ʻofeina ia ʻe Sihova.
and to be sorry: comfort David [obj] Bathsheba Bathsheba woman: wife his and to come (in): come to(wards) her and to lie down: lay down with her and to beget son: child (and to call: call by *Q(K)*) [obj] name his Solomon and LORD to love: lover him
25 Pea naʻa ne fekau kiate ia ia Netane ko e palōfita; pea naʻa ne fakahingoa ia ko Sitaia, koeʻuhi ko Sihova.
and to send: depart in/on/with hand: to Nathan [the] prophet and to call: call by [obj] name his Jedidiah in/on/with for the sake of LORD
26 Pea naʻe fai ʻae tau ʻe Soape ki Lapa ʻoe fānau ʻa ʻAmoni, mo ne kapasi ʻae kolo ʻoe tuʻi.
and to fight Joab in/on/with Rabbah son: descendant/people Ammon and to capture [obj] city [the] kingship
27 Pea naʻe ʻave ʻe Soape ʻae kau talafekau kia Tevita, ʻo ne pehē, “Kuo u tau ki Lapa, pea kuo kapasi ʻae kolo ʻoe ngaahi vai.
and to send: depart Joab messenger to(wards) David and to say to fight in/on/with Rabbah also to capture [obj] city [the] water
28 Ko ia foki, tānaki mai ʻae toenga ʻoe kakai, pea fakanofo ʻae tau ki he kolo, pea lavaʻi ia: telia naʻaku lavaʻi ʻeau ʻae kolo, pea ʻe fakahingoa ia ki hoku hingoa ʻoʻoku.”
and now to gather [obj] remainder [the] people and to camp upon [the] city and to capture her lest to capture I [obj] [the] city and to call: call by name my upon her
29 Pea naʻe tānaki fakataha ʻe Tevita ʻae kakai kotoa pē, pea ne ʻalu ki Lapa, pea ne tau ki ai, ʻo ne hamu ia.
and to gather David [obj] all [the] people and to go: went Rabbah [to] and to fight in/on/with her and to capture her
30 Pea naʻa ne toʻo ʻae tatā fakatuʻi mei he fofonga ʻo honau tuʻi, ko hono mamafa ko e taleniti ʻe taha ʻoe koula fakataha mo hono ngaahi maka mahuʻinga: pea naʻe ʻai ia ki he fofonga ʻo Tevita. Pea naʻa ne fetuku kituʻa ʻae koloa vete ʻoe kolo ʻo lahi ʻaupito.
and to take: take [obj] crown king their from upon head his and weight her talent gold and stone precious and to be upon head David and spoil [the] city to come out: send to multiply much
31 Pea naʻa ne ʻomi kituʻa ʻae kakai naʻe ʻi ai, ʻo ne tuku ʻakinautolu ki he lalo kili, pea ki lalo ʻi he ngaahi meʻa toho vangavanga naʻe ngaohi ʻaki ʻae ʻaione, pea ki lalo ʻi he ngaahi toki ukamea, pea naʻa ne pule kenau ʻalu atu ʻi he lotolotonga ʻoe tutuʻanga makaʻumea: pea naʻe pehē pe ʻa ʻene fai ki he ngaahi kolo kotoa pē ʻoe fānau ʻa ʻAmoni. Pea naʻe liu mai ki Selūsalema ʻa Tevita pea mo e kakai kotoa pē.
and [obj] [the] people which in/on/with her to come out: send and to set: make in/on/with saw and in/on/with incision [the] iron and in/on/with axe [the] iron and to pass [obj] them (in/on/with brick *Q(K)*) and so to make: do to/for all city son: descendant/people Ammon and to return: return David and all [the] people Jerusalem
