< 1 Kolinitō 16 >
1 Pea ko e meʻa ki he tānaki tokoni ki he kāinga māʻoniʻoni, ke fai pe ʻekimoutolu, ʻo hangē ko ia kuo u fekau ki he ngaahi siasi ʻi Kalētia.
NOW concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.
2 ʻI he ʻuluaki ʻaho ʻoe uike, ke mou taki taha vaheʻi ʻo tuku ʻae tokoni, ʻo fakatatau mo hono fakamonūʻiaʻi, koeʻuhi ke ʻoua naʻa ai ha tānaki ʻo kau ka hoko atu.
Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
3 Pea kau ka hoko atu, ko kinautolu te mou loto ki ai, te u fekau ʻakinautolu mo e ngaahi tohi, ke ʻave hoʻomou tokoni ʻofa ki Selūsalema.
And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.
4 Pea kapau ʻe lelei ʻeku ʻalu foki, te nau ʻalu mo au.
And if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me.
5 Pea ko eni, te u ʻalu atu kiate kimoutolu, ʻoka hili ʻeku ʻalu atu ʻi Masitōnia: he te u ʻalu atu ʻi Masitōnia.
Now I will come unto you, when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia.
6 Pea te u nofo ʻapē ʻi he faʻahitaʻu momoko mo kimoutolu, koeʻuhi ke mou moimoiʻi au ʻi hoku fononga ki ha potu te u ʻalu ki ai.
And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go.
7 He koeʻuhi ʻe ʻikai te u fou atu kiate kimoutolu ʻi he fononga ni; ka ʻoku ou ʻamanaki te u nofo fuoloa siʻi ʻiate kimoutolu, ʻo kapau ʻe lelei ki he ʻEiki.
For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.
8 Ka te u tatali ʻi ʻEfesō ʻo aʻu ki he Penitekosi.
But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.
9 He kuo fakaava kiate au ʻae matapā lahi pea ʻaonga, pea ʻoku tokolahi ʻae fili.
For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.
10 Pea ko eni, kapau ʻe hoko atu ʻa Timote, vakai ke ʻiate kimoutolu taʻemanavahē ia: he ʻoku fai ʻe ia ʻae ngāue ʻae ʻEiki, ʻo hangē foki ko au.
Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.
11 Ko ia ke ʻoua naʻa manukiʻi ia ʻe ha tokotaha: kae tokoniʻi ia, ke fononga mai ʻi he fiemālie, koeʻuhi ke haʻu ia kiate au: he ʻoku ou ʻamanaki kiate ia fakataha mo e kāinga.
Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.
12 Pea ko e meʻa ki hotau kāinga ko ʻApolosi, naʻaku kole lahi kiate ia ke ne ʻalu atu mo e kāinga kiate kimoutolu: ka naʻe ʻikai siʻi loto ia ke ʻalu atu ʻi he kuonga ni; ka ʻe ʻalu atu ia ʻi ha kuonga tuʻutuʻumālie kiate ia.
As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time.
13 Mou leʻo, tuʻumaʻu ʻi he tui, fai ʻo ngali mo e tangata, mou mālohi.
Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
14 Ke fai hoʻomou ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē ʻi he ʻofa.
Let all your things be done with charity.
15 ʻOku mou ʻilo ʻae fale ʻo Setivena, ko e ʻuluaki fua ia ʻi ʻAkeia, pea kuo nau tuku ʻakinautolu ke tauhi ʻae kakai māʻoniʻoni, pea ʻoku ou kole kiate kimoutolu, ʻe kāinga,
I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints, )
16 Ke fakaʻapaʻapa ʻakimoutolu ki he kakai pehē, pea kiate kinautolu kotoa pē ʻoku tokoni mo kimautolu, pea ngāue.
That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth.
17 ʻOku ou fiemālie ʻi he haʻu ʻa Setivena mo Fotuneto mo ʻAkaiko: he ko ia naʻe toe meiate kimoutolu kuo nau totongi.
I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied.
18 He kuo nau fakafiemālieʻi ʻae laumālie ʻoʻoku mo kimoutolu: ko ia mou fai ʻofa ki he kakai pehē.
For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such.
19 Ko e ngaahi siasi ʻo ʻEsia ʻoku ʻofa atu kiate kimoutolu. ʻOku ʻofa lahi atu kiate kimoutolu ʻi he ʻEiki ʻa ʻAkuila mo Pisila, pea mo e siasi ʻoku ʻi hona fale.
The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.
20 ʻOku ʻofa atu ʻae kāinga kotoa pē kiate kimoutolu. Mou feʻofoʻofani ʻaki ʻae ʻuma māʻoniʻoni.
All the brethren greet you. Greet ye one another with an holy kiss.
21 Ko e tohi ʻofa eni ʻa Paula ʻaki hoku nima ʻoʻoku.
The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand.
22 Kapau ʻoku ai ha tangata ʻoku ʻikai ʻofa ia ki he ʻEiki ko Sisu Kalaisi, ke malaʻia ia. ʻOku haʻu ʻae ʻEiki.
If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maran-atha.
23 Ke ʻiate kimoutolu ʻae ʻofa ʻa hotau ʻEiki ko Sisu Kalaisi.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
24 Ke ʻiate kimoutolu kotoa pē ʻeku ʻofa ʻia Kalaisi Sisu. ʻEmeni.
My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen. The first epistle to the Corinthians was written from Philippi by Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus, and Timotheus. THE
