So all Israel were listed by genealogies; and behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel. Judah was carried away captive to Babylon for their disobedience.

who previously served in the king’s gate eastward. They were the gatekeepers for the camp of the children of Levi.
19 Pea ko Salumi ko e foha ʻo Kole, ko e foha ʻo Epiasafi, ko e foha ʻo Kola, pea mo hono kāinga, ʻi he fale ʻo ʻene tamai, ko e kau Kola, naʻe pule ki he ngāue ʻoe tauhi, ko e kau leʻo matapā ʻakinautolu ʻi he fale fehikitaki: pea ko ʻenau ngaahi tamai, ʻaia naʻe pule ki he kautau ʻo Sihova, naʻa nau leʻohi ʻae hūʻanga ki he fale.
Shallum was the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brothers, of his father’s house, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent. Their fathers had been over the LORD’s camp, keepers of the entry.

Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was gatekeeper of the door of the Tent of Meeting.
22 Ko kinautolu kotoa pē naʻe fili ke leʻohi ʻae ngaahi matapā, ko e toko uangeau ma hongofulu ma ua. naʻe lau hake ʻakinautolu ni ʻo tatau mo honau hohoko ʻi honau ngaahi kolo siʻi, ʻakinautolu naʻe fakanofo ʻe Tevita mo Samuela ko e tangata kikite ki heʻenau ngāue totonu.
All these who were chosen to be gatekeepers in the thresholds were two hundred and twelve. These were listed by genealogy in their villages, whom David and Samuel the seer ordained in their office of trust.

Their brothers, in their villages, were to come in every seven days from time to time to be with them,
26 He ko e kau Livai ko eni, ʻae toko fā naʻe pule ki he kau leʻo matapā, naʻe ai ʻenau ngāue totonu ʻanautolu, pea naʻa nau pule ki he ngaahi feleoko pea mo e ngaahi tukunga koloa ʻi he fale ʻoe ʻOtua.
for the four chief gatekeepers, who were Levites, were in an office of trust, and were over the rooms and over the treasuries in God’s house.
27 Pea naʻa nau nofo takatakai hake ʻi he fale ʻoe ʻOtua, koeʻuhi naʻe ʻiate kinautolu ʻae ngāue, pea naʻe ʻiate kinautolu ke fakaava ia ʻi he pongipongi kotoa pē.
They stayed around God’s house, because that was their duty; and it was their duty to open it morning by morning.
28 Pea naʻe ʻi honau niʻihi ʻae tokanga ki he ngaahi ipu ʻoe ngāue, ke ʻanautolu ʻa hono lau mo hono feʻaveʻaki ki loto mo tuʻa.
Certain of them were in charge of the vessels of service, for these were brought in by count, and these were taken out by count.
29 Naʻe ʻanautolu niʻihi foki ʻae tokanga ki he ngaahi ipu, mo e ngaahi nāunau ʻoe faletapu, mo e mahoaʻa lelei, mo e uaine, mo e lolo, mo e meʻa namu kakala, mo e ngaahi fuaʻi ʻakau nanamu.
Some of them also were appointed over the furniture, and over all the vessels of the sanctuary, over the fine flour, the wine, the oil, the frankincense, and the spices.
30 Pea naʻe ngaohi ʻae lolo tākai, ʻe he niʻihi ʻi he ngaahi foha ʻoe kau taulaʻeiki, mei he ngaahi meʻa namu kakala.
Some of the sons of the priests prepared the mixing of the spices.
31 Pea naʻe ʻia Matitia, ko e taha ʻoe kau Livai, pea ko e ʻuluaki foha ʻo Salumi ko e tangata Kola, ʻae ngāue totonu ki he ngaahi meʻa naʻe ngaohi ʻi he ngaahi ipu lafalafa.
Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, had the office of trust over the things that were baked in pans.
32 Pea ko honau kāinga niʻihi ʻi he ngaahi foha ʻoe kakai Kohate, naʻe ʻanautolu ʻae tokanga ki he mā ʻoe ʻao, ke teuteu ia ʻi he ʻaho tapu kotoa pē.
Some of their brothers, of the sons of the Kohathites, were over the show bread, to prepare it every Sabbath.
33 Pea ko kinautolu ni ko e kau fasi hiva, ko e tuʻukimuʻa ʻi he kau mātuʻa ʻoe kakai Livai, pea naʻa nau nofo ʻataʻatā pe ʻi he ngaahi potu fale: he naʻa nau fai ʻae ngāue ko ia ʻi he ʻaho mo e pō.
These are the singers, heads of fathers’ households of the Levites, who lived in the rooms and were free from other service, for they were employed in their work day and night.
34 Ko kinautolu ni naʻe tuʻukimuʻa ʻi he kau mātuʻa ʻoe kakai Livai, pea naʻa nau ʻeiki hake ʻi honau ngaahi toʻutangata; pea naʻe nofo ʻakinautolu ni ʻi Selūsalema.
These were heads of fathers’ households of the Levites, throughout their generations, chief men. They lived at Jerusalem.
35 Pea naʻe nofo ʻi Kipione ʻae tamai ʻa Kipione, ʻa Sehieli, pea ko e hingoa ʻo hono uaifi ko Meaka:
Jeiel the father of Gibeon, whose wife’s name was Maacah, lived in Gibeon.
36 Pea ko hono ʻuluaki foha ko ʻApitoni, pea hoko mo ia ʻa Suli, mo Kisi, mo Peali, mo Nea, mo Natapi,
His firstborn son was Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
37 Mo Kitoa, mo ʻAhio, mo Sakalia mo Mikiloti.
Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah, and Mikloth.
38 Pea naʻe tupu ʻia Mikiloti ʻa Simiami Pea naʻa nau nofo foki mo honau kāinga ʻi Selūsalema, ʻo fehangatonu atu ki honau kāinga.
Mikloth became the father of Shimeam. They also lived with their relatives in Jerusalem, near their relatives.
39 Pea naʻe tupu ʻia Nea ʻa Kisi: pea naʻe tupu ʻia Kisi ʻa Saula; pea naʻe tupu ʻia Saula ʻa Sonatane, mo Malikisua mo ʻApinatapi, mo Esipeali.
Ner became the father of Kish. Kish became the father of Saul. Saul became the father of Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Eshbaal.
40 Pea ko e foha ʻo Sonatane ʻa Milipipeali: pea naʻe tupu ʻi Milipipeali ʻa Maika.
The son of Jonathan was Merib-baal. Merib-baal became the father of Micah.
41 Pea ko e ngaahi foha eni ʻo Maika; ko Pitoni, mo Meleki, mo Talia, [mo ʻAhasi].
The sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tahrea, and Ahaz.
42 Pea naʻe tupu ʻia ʻAhasi ʻa Sala; pea tupu ʻia Sala ʻa ʻAlemeti, mo ʻAsimaveti, mo Simili; pea naʻe tupu ʻia Simili ʻa Mosa;
Ahaz became the father of Jarah. Jarah became the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri. Zimri became the father of Moza.
43 Pea naʻe tupu ʻia Mosa ʻa Pinia; mo Lefaia ko hono foha, mo Elasa ko hono foha ʻoʻona, mo ʻAseli ko hono foha ʻoʻona.
Moza became the father of Binea, Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son, and Azel his son.
44 Pea naʻe maʻu ʻe ʻAseli ʻae ngaahi foha ʻe toko ono, pea ko honau hingoa eni; ko ʻAsilikami, mo Pokilu, mo ʻIsimeʻeli, mo Sialia, mo ʻOpataia, mo Hanani: ko kinautolu ni ko e ngaahi foha ʻo ʻAseli.
Azel had six sons, whose names are Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. These were the sons of Azel.
