1 Meʻa Hokohoko 28

1 Pea naʻe fakataha ʻe Tevita, ki Selūsalema, ʻae houʻeiki kotoa pē ʻo ʻIsileli, ʻae houʻeiki ʻoe ngaahi faʻahinga, mo e ngaahi ʻeiki ʻoe ngaahi kaungangāue ʻaia naʻe tauhi ki he tuʻi ʻi honau lakanga, mo e ngaahi ʻeiki naʻe pule ki he ngaahi toko afe, mo e ngaahi ʻeiki naʻe pule ki he ngaahi toko teau, mo e kau tauhi koloa kotoa pē naʻe pule ki he koloa mo e fanga manu ʻae tuʻi, mo ia naʻe ʻi hono ngaahi foha, mo e kau matāpule, mo e kau tangata mālohi lahi, pea mo e kau tangata toʻa kotoa pē.

And he called together David all [the] officials of Israel [the] leaders of the tribes and [the] commanders of the divisions who served the king and [the] commanders of the thousands and [the] commanders of the hundreds and [the] officials of all [the] property and livestock - of the king and of sons his with the court-officials and the mighty [men] and to every mighty [man] of strength to Jerusalem.

2 Pea naʻe toki tuʻu hake ʻa Tevita ko e tuʻi ki hono vaʻe, ʻo ne pehē, “ʻE hoku kāinga, mo hoku kakai, fanongo mai kiate au: naʻaku tokanga ʻi hoku loto ke langa ha fale ko e mālōlōʻanga ki he puha ʻoe fuakava ʻa Sihova, pea ko e potu ke tuʻu ai ʻae vaʻe ʻo hotau ʻOtua, pea naʻaku fai ʻae tokonaki maʻae langa fale:

And he arose David the king on feet his and he said listen to me O brothers my and people my I [was] with heart my to build a house of rest for [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh and to [the] footstool of [the] feet of God our and I prepared to build.

3 Ka naʻe pehē mai ʻe he ʻOtua kiate au, ʻE ʻikai te ke langa ʻe koe ha fale ki hoku huafa, koeʻuhi ko e tangata faʻa tau koe, pea kuo ke lilingi ʻae toto.

And God he said to me not you will build a house for name my for [are] a man of wars you and blood you have shed.

4 Ka naʻe fili muʻa au ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua ʻo ʻIsileli mei he fale kotoa pē ʻo ʻeku tamai ke u hoko ko e tuʻi ki ʻIsileli ʻo taʻengata: he kuo ne fili ʻa Siuta ke pule; pea mei he fale ʻo Siuta, ko e fale ʻo ʻeku tamai ʻaʻaku; pea mei he ngaahi foha ʻo ʻeku tamai naʻa ne finangalo lelei kiate au ke u hoko ko e tuʻi ki ʻIsileli kātoa:

And he chose Yahweh [the] God of Israel me from all [the] house of father my to become king over Israel for ever for Judah he chose to ruler and among [the] house of Judah [the] house of father my and among [the] sons of father my in me he took pleasure to make [me] king over all Israel.

5 Pea ʻi hoku ngaahi foha kotoa pē, (he kuo foaki ʻe Sihova ʻae ngaahi foha tokolahi kiate au, ) kuo ne fili ʻa Solomone ko hoku foha, ke nofo ki he nofoʻa fakatuʻi ʻoe puleʻanga ʻo Sihova ke puleʻi ʻa ʻIsileli.

And from all sons my for many sons he has given to me Yahweh and he has chosen Solomon son my to sit on [the] throne of [the] kingdom of Yahweh over Israel.

6 Pea naʻa ne pehē kiate au, ‘Ko Solomone ko ho foha, ko ia ia ʻe langa ʻa hoku fale, mo hoku ngaahi lotoʻā: he kuo u fili ia ke hoko ko hoku foha, pea te u hoko au ko ʻene tamai.

And he said to me Solomon son your he he will build house my and courts my for I have chosen him for myself to a son and I I will become of him a father.

7 Pea te u fokotuʻumaʻu foki ʻa hono puleʻanga ke taʻengata, ʻo kapau te ne mālohi ke fai ʻa ʻeku ngaahi fekau mo ʻeku ngaahi fakamaau, ʻo hangē ko ia ʻoku fai he ʻaho ni.’

And I will establish kingdom his until for ever if he will be strong to observe commandments my and judgments my as the day this.

8 Ko ia foki, mou tauhi mo kumi ki he ngaahi fekau kotoa pē ʻa Sihova ko homou ʻOtua, ʻi he ʻao ʻo ʻIsileli kātoa ko e fakataha kia Sihova, pea ʻi he ʻafio ki ai ʻahotau ʻOtua: koeʻuhi ke mou maʻu ʻae fonua lelei ni, pea tuku fakaholo ia ko e tofiʻa ki hoʻomou fānau ki mui ʻiate kimoutolu ʻo taʻengata.”

And therefore to [the] eyes of all Israel [the] assembly of Yahweh and in [the] ears of God our observe and seek all [the] commandments of Yahweh God your so that you may possess the land good and you will give [it] as inheritance to descendants your after you until perpetuity.

9 Pea ko koe, “ʻE Solomone ko hoku foha, ke ke ʻilo ʻe koe ki he ʻOtua ʻo hoʻo tamai, pea ke tauhi kiate ia ʻaki ho loto kātoa, pea ʻi he loto fie fai: he ʻoku hakule ʻe Sihova ʻae loto kotoa pē, pea ʻoku ne ʻiloʻi ʻae filioʻi mo e fakakaukau kotoa pē: kapau te ke kumi kiate ia, te ke ʻilo ia ʻe koe; pea kapau te ke liʻaki ia, te ne liʻaki koe ʻo lauikuonga.

And you O Solomon son my know [the] God of father your and serve him with a heart complete and with a being willing for all hearts [is] searching Yahweh and every inclination of thoughts [he is] understanding if you will seek him he will let himself be found by you and if you will forsake him he will reject you for ever.

10 Pea ke tokanga eni; he kuo fili koe ʻe Sihova ke ke langa ha fale maʻae faletapu ke ke mālohi koe, pea ke ngāue.”

See - now that Yahweh he has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary be strong and act.

11 Pea naʻe toki ʻange ʻe Tevita kia Solomone ko hono foha ʻae fakatātā ki he fale hūʻanga fakamalumalu, pea mo hono ngaahi potu fale ʻo ia, pea ko e ngaahi potu tukungakoloa ʻi ai, pea mo hono ngaahi potu fale ki ʻolunga, mo hono ngaahi potu fale ki loto, pea mo e potu maʻae ʻafioʻanga ʻoe ʻaloʻofa,

And he gave David to Solomon son his [the] pattern of the porch and houses its and treasuries its and upper rooms its and rooms its inner and [the] house of the atonement cover.

12 Pea mo e fakatātā ʻoe meʻa kotoa pē naʻe ʻilo ʻe ia mei he laumālie, ʻi he ngaahi lotoʻā ʻoe fale ʻo Sihova, pea mo e ngaahi potuʻi fale kotoa pē naʻe tuʻu takatakai, mo e ngaahi potu tukunga koloa ʻoe fale ʻoe ʻOtua, pea mo e ngaahi tukunga koloa ʻoe ngaahi meʻa naʻe fakatapui:

And [the] pattern of all that it was in the spirit with him for [the] courts of [the] house of Yahweh and for all the rooms all around for [the] storehouses of [the] house of God and for [the] storehouses of the holy things.

13 Pea ko e ngaahi lakanga foki ʻoe kau taulaʻeiki mo e kau Livai, pea mo e ngāue kotoa pē ʻoe tauhi ʻi he fale ʻo Sihova, pea koeʻuhi ko e ngaahi nāunau ʻoe ngāue ʻi he fale ʻo Sihova:

And for [the] divisions of the priests and the Levites and for all [the] work of [the] service of [the] house of Yahweh and for all [the] articles of [the] service of [the] house of Yahweh.

14 Ko e koula naʻe fakamamafa ki he meʻa koula, maʻae ngaahi nāunau ki he ngāue kehekehe kotoa pē: mo e siliva naʻe fakamamafa ki he ngaahi meʻa siliva ki he ngāue kehekehe kotoa pē:

For the gold by the weight of the gold for all articles of service and service for all [the] articles of silver by weight for all articles of service and service.

And the forks and the bowls and the jugs gold pure and for [the] bowls of gold by weight for a bowl and a bowl and for [the] bowls of silver by weight for a bowl and a bowl.

18 Pea mo e koula naʻe fakamaʻa naʻe fakamamafa maʻae feilaulauʻanga ʻoe meʻa namu kakala; mo e koula ki he fakatātā ʻoe saliote ʻoe ongo selupi ʻaia naʻe malofa ʻa hona kapakau, mo fakamalumalu ʻaki ʻae puha ʻoe fuakava ʻo Sihova.

And for [the] altar of incense gold purified by weight and [the] pattern of the chariot the cherubim gold for spreading out and covering over [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh.

19 Naʻe fakaʻilo mai eni kotoa pē ʻi he tohi ʻe Sihova, “ʻI he ʻiate au ʻa hono nima, ʻae ngaahi ngāue kotoa pē ʻoku ʻi he fakatātā ni.”

Everything in writing from [the] hand of Yahweh on me he made clear all [the] works of the pattern.

20 Pea naʻe pehē ʻe Tevita kia Solomone ko hono foha, “Ke ke mālohi koe mo ke toʻa lahi, mo ngāue: ʻoua naʻa ke manavahē, pe te ke lilika: he ko Sihova ko e ʻOtua, ko hoku ʻOtua, ʻe kau ia kiate koe; ʻe ʻikai te ne fakatukutukuʻi koe, pe te ne liʻaki koe, kaeʻoua ke ke fakaʻosi ʻae ngāue kotoa pē ki he tauhi ʻae fale ʻa Sihova.

And he said David to Solomon son his be strong and be brave and act may not you be afraid and may not you be dismayed for Yahweh God God my [is] with you not he will abandon you and not he will forsake you until is complete all [the] work of [the] service of [the] house of Yahweh.

21 Pea vakai, ko e ngaahi lakanga ʻoe kau taulaʻeiki mo e kau Livai ʻe ʻanautolu ʻae ngaahi ngāue kehekehe ʻi he fale ʻoe ʻOtua: pea ʻe ʻiate koe ki he ngaahi ngāue kehekehe kotoa pē, ʻae kau tangata poto kotoa pē ʻoku fie fai, ki he ngaahi ngāue kehekehe; pea ʻe tali fekau foki meiate koe ʻae houʻeiki pea mo e kakai kotoa pē.”

And there! [the] divisions of the priests and the Levites for all [the] service of [the] house of God and [will be] with you in all [the] work every willing [person] with skill for every service and the officials and all the people [are] to all words your.
