Then David and the magistrates of the army set apart, for the ministry, the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who were to prophesy with harps and psalteries and cymbals, in accord with their number, having been dedicated to their appointed office.
2 Mei he ngaahi foha ʻo ʻAsafi: ko Sakuli, mo Sosefa, mo Nitania, mo ʻAsalela ko e ngaahi foha ʻo ʻAsafi ʻi he pule ʻa ʻAsafi, ʻakinautolu naʻe hiva ʻo hangē ko e fekau ʻae tuʻi.
From the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah, the sons of Asaph, under the hand of Asaph, prophesying beside the king.
3 Meia Situtuni: ko e ngaahi foha ʻo Situtuni; ko Katalia, mo Sili, Sisaia, mo Hesapea, mo Matitia, ko e toko ono naʻe puleʻi ʻe heʻenau tamai ko Situtuni, ʻakinautolu naʻe hiva ʻaki ʻae haʻape, ke ʻatu ʻae fakafetaʻi mo e ongoongolelei kia Sihova.

Also, of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamtiezer, and Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth.
5 Ko kinautolu ni kotoa pē ko e ngaahi foha ʻo Hemani ʻae tangata kikite ki he tuʻi, ʻi he ngaahi folofola ʻae ʻOtua, ke ʻiate kinautolu ʻae hiki hake ʻoe meʻalea. Pea naʻe foaki ʻe he ʻOtua kia Hemani ʻae ngaahi foha ʻe toko hongofulu ma fā, mo e ʻofefine ʻe toko tolu.
All these were the sons of Heman, the seer of the king in the words of God, in order to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
6 Naʻe puleʻi ʻakinautolu ni kotoa pē ʻe heʻenau tamai ke fai ʻae hiva ʻi he fale ʻo Sihova ʻaki ʻae ngaahi meʻa ukamea pakihi, mo e ngaahi ūtete, pea mo e ngaahi haʻape, ʻi he ngāue ʻoe fale ʻoe ʻOtua, ʻo tatau mo e fekau ʻae tuʻi kia ʻAsafi, mo Situtuni, pea mo Hemani.
All these, under their father’s hand, were distributed in order to sing in the temple of the Lord, with cymbals and psalteries and harps, in the ministry of the house of the Lord beside the king, specifically, Asaph, and Jeduthun, and Heman.
7 Pea pehē, ko hono tokolahi ʻokinautolu, ʻoka lau fakataha mo honau kāinga naʻe akoʻi ʻi he ngaahi hiva kia Sihova, ʻakinautolu naʻe poto lahi ai, ko e toko uangeau mo e valungofulu ma valu.
Now the number of these, with their brothers, who were instructing in the song of the Lord, all the teachers, were two hundred eighty-eight.
8 Pea naʻa nau fai ʻae talotalo ko e lakanga ki he lakanga, ko e siʻi mo e lahi, ko e akonaki pea mo ia naʻe akonekina.
And they cast lots in their turns, the elder equally with the younger, the learned together with the unlearned.

And the first lot went forth to Joseph, who was of Asaph; the second went forth to Gedaliah, to him and his sons and his brothers, twelve.
10 Ko hono tolu kia Sakuli, mo hono ngaahi foha, mo hono kāinga, ko e toko hongofulu ma ua:
The third went to Zaccur, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
11 Ko hono fā kia Isili, mo hono ngaahi foha, mo hono kāinga, ko e toko hongofulu ma ua:
The fourth went to Izri, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
12 Ko hono nima kia Nitania, mo hono ngaahi foha, mo hono kāinga, ko e toko hongofulu ma ua:
The fifth went to Nethaniah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
13 Ko hono ono kia Pukai, mo hono ngaahi foha, mo hono kāinga, ko e toko hongofulu ma ua:
The sixth went to Bukkiah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
14 Ko hono fitu kia Sisalela, mo hono ngaahi foha mo hono kāinga, ko e toko hongofulu ma ua:
The seventh went to Jesharelah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
15 Ko hono valu kia Sisaia, mo hono ngaahi foha, mo hono kāinga, ko e toko hongofulu ma ua:
The eighth went to Jeshaiah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.

The seventeenth went to Joshbekashah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
25 Ko hono hongofulu ma valu kia Hanani, mo hono ngaahi foha, mo hono kāinga, ko e toko hongofulu ma ono:
The eighteenth went to Hanani, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
26 Ko hono hongofulu ma hiva kia Maloti, mo hono ngaahi foha, mo hono kāinga, ko e toko hongofulu ma ua:
The nineteenth went to Mallothi, to his sons and his brothers, twelve.
27 Ko hono uofulu kia Iliati, mo hono ngaahi foha, mo hono kāinga, ko e toko hongofulu ma ua:
The twentieth went to Eliathah, to his sons and brothers, twelve.
