These [are] sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,
2 Mo Tani, mo Sosefa, mo Penisimani, mo Nafitali, mo Kata, pea mo ʻAseli.
Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

Sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah, three have been born to him of a daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, first-born of Judah, is evil in the eyes of Jehovah, and He putteth him to death.

And sons of Zerah: Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara; all of them five.
7 Pea ko e ngaahi foha ʻo Kalimi; ko ʻAkali, ʻaia ko e fakamaveuveu ʻo ʻIsileli, ʻaia naʻe fai angahala ʻi he meʻa naʻe fakatapui.
And sons of Carmi: Achar, troubler of Israel, who trespassed in the devoted thing.
8 Pea ko e ngaahi foha ʻo Etani; ko ʻAsalia.
And sons of Ethan: Azariah.
9 Pea ko e ngaahi foha foki ʻo Hesiloni, ʻaia naʻe fānau kiate ia; ko Silamili, mo Lami, pea mo Kilupai.
And sons of Hezron who were born to him; Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.
10 Pea naʻe fanauʻi kia Lami ʻa ʻAminitapi; pea fanauʻi kia ʻAminitapi ʻa Nasoni, ko e ʻeiki ʻoe fānau ʻa Siuta.
And Ram begat Amminadab, and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the sons of Judah;

and Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz,

and Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse;

and Jesse begat his first-born Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimea the third,

17 Pea naʻe fanauʻi ʻe ʻApikali ʻa ʻAmasa: pea ko e tamai ʻa ʻAmasa ko Seteli ko e tangata ʻIsimeʻeli.
And Abigail hath borne Amasa, and the father of Amasa [is] Jether the Ishmeelite.
18 Pea naʻe fanauʻi kia Kelepi ko e foha ʻo Hesiloni ʻae ngaahi fānau ʻia ʻAsupa ko hono uaifi, pea ʻia Silioti: ko eni ʻa ʻene ngaahi tama ʻaʻana; ko Sesa, mo Sopapi, mo ʻAlitoni.
And Caleb son of Hezron hath begotten Azubah, Isshah, and Jerioth; and these [are] her sons: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
19 Pea ʻi heʻene hoko ʻo pekia ʻa ʻAsupa, naʻe ʻomi ʻe Kelepi kiate ia ʻa Efalata, ʻaia naʻe fanauʻi kiate ia ʻa Hua.
And Azubah dieth, and Caleb taketh to him Ephrath, and she beareth to him Hur.
20 Pea naʻe fanauʻi kia Hua ʻa Uli, pea fanauʻi kia Uli ʻa Pesalili.
And Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezaleel.
21 Pea hili ia naʻe hū ange ʻa Hesiloni ki he ʻofefine ʻo Mekili ko e tamai ʻa Kiliati, ʻaia naʻa ne mali husepāniti ki ai ʻi hono onongofulu taʻu ʻo ʻene motuʻa; pea naʻa ne fanauʻi ʻe ia kiate ia ʻa Sikupi.
And afterwards hath Hezron gone in unto a daughter of Machir father of Gilead, and he hath taken her, and he [is] a son of sixty years, and she beareth to him Segub.
22 Pea naʻe fanauʻi kia Sikupi ʻa Saili, ʻaia naʻe ʻoʻona ʻae kolo ʻe uofulu ma tolu ʻi he fonua ʻo Kiliati.
And Segub begat Jair, and he hath twenty and three cities in the land of Gilead,

and he taketh Geshur and Aram, the small villages of Jair, from them, with Kenath and its small towns, sixty cities — all these [belonged to] the sons of Machir father of Gilead.
24 Pea ʻi he hili ʻae pekia ʻa Hesiloni ʻi Kelepi-Efalata, naʻe toki fanauʻi kiate ia ʻe ʻApia ko e uaifi ʻo Hesiloni, ʻa ʻAsuli ko e tamai ʻa Tikoa.
And after the death of Hezron in Caleb-Ephratah, then the wife of Hezron, Abijah, even beareth to him Asshur, father of Tekoa.
25 Pea ko e ngaahi foha eni ʻo Silamili ko e ʻuluaki foha ʻo Hesiloni; ko Lami ko e ʻuluaki fānau, mo Puna, mo Oleni, mo Osemi, mo ʻAhisa.
And sons of Jerahmeel, first-born of Hezron, are: the first-born Ram, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, Ahijah.
26 Pea naʻe ai mo e uaifi ʻe tokotaha ʻo Silamili, ʻaia naʻe hingoa ko ʻAtala; ko e faʻē ia ʻa Onami.
And Jerahmeel hath another wife, and her name [is] Atarah, she [is] mother of Onam.
27 Pea ko e ngaahi foha eni ʻo Lami ko e ʻuluaki fānau ʻa Silamili; ko Maʻasi, mo Samini, mo Ekeli.
And sons of Ram, first-born of Jerahmeel, are Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.
28 Pea ko e ngaahi foha eni ʻo Onami ko Samei, mo Sata. Pea ko e ngaahi foha ʻo Samei; ko Natapi, mo ʻApisuli.
And sons of Onam are Shammai and Jada. And sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.
29 Pea ko e hingoa ʻoe uaifi ʻo ʻApisuli, ko ʻEpieli, pea naʻa ne fānau ʻe ia kiate ia ʻa ʻApani mo Moliti.
And the name of the wife of Abishur [is] Abihail, and she beareth to him Ahban and Molid.
30 Pea ko e ngaahi foha eni ʻo Natapi ko Seleti, mo ʻApaiʻimi: ka naʻe mate ʻa Seleti taʻehafānau.
And sons of Nadab: Seled, and Appaim; and Seled dieth without sons.
31 Pea ko e ngaahi foha eni ʻo ʻApaiʻimi ko Isi. Pea ko e ngaahi foha ʻo Isi ko Sesani. Pea ko e fānau ʻa Sesani ko ʻAlai.
And sons of Appaim: Ishi. And sons of Ishi: Sheshan. And sons of Sheshan: Ahlai.
32 Pea ko e ngaahi foha ʻo Sata ko e tokoua ʻo Samei; ko Seteli, mo Sonatane: pea naʻe mate ʻa Seteli taʻehafānau.
And sons of Jada, brother of Shammai: Jether, and Jonathan: and Jether dieth without sons.
33 Pea ko e ngaahi foha ʻo Sonatane; ko Peleti, mo Sasa. Ko e ngaahi foha ʻakinautolu ni ʻo Silamili.
And sons of Jonathan: Peleth, and Zaza. These were sons of Jerahmeel.
34 Ka ko eni naʻe ʻikai maʻu ʻe Sesani ha ngaahi foha ka ko e ngaahi ʻofefine. Pea naʻe maʻu ʻe Sesani ha tamaioʻeiki, ko e tangata ʻIsipite, ʻaia naʻe hingoa ko Salia.
And Sheshan had no sons, but daughters, and Sheshan hath a servant, an Egyptian, and his name [is] Jarha,
35 Pea naʻe foaki ʻe Sesani ʻa hono ʻofefine kia Salia ko ʻene tamaioʻeiki ke na fakamaʻu; pea naʻa ne fanauʻi ʻe ia ʻa ʻAtai.
and Sheshan giveth his daughter to Jarha his servant for a wife, and she beareth to him Attai;
36 Pea naʻe tupu ʻia ʻAtai ʻa Natani, pea tupu ʻia Natani ʻa Sapati,
and Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad,
37 Pea naʻe tupu ʻia Sapati, ʻa ʻEfilali, pea tupu ʻia ʻEfilali ʻa ʻOpeti,
and Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Obed,
38 Pea naʻe tupu ʻia ʻOpeti ʻa Sehu, pea tupu ʻia Sehu ʻa ʻAsalia,
and Obed begat Jehu,
39 Pea naʻe tupu ʻia ʻAsalia ʻa Helesi, pea tupu ʻia Helesi ʻa Elasa,
and Jehu begat Azariah, and Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah,
40 Pea naʻe tupu ʻia Elasa ʻa Sisemei, pea tupu ʻia Sisemei ʻa Salumi,
and Eleasah begat Sismai, and Sismai begat Shallum,
41 Pea naʻe tupu ʻia Salumi ʻa Sikamia, pea tupu ʻia Sikamia ʻa ʻIlisama.
and Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama.
42 Ka ko e ngaahi foha eni ʻo Kelepi ko e tokoua ʻo Silamili: ko Mesa ko hono ʻuluaki fānau, ʻaia ko e tamai ʻa Sifi; pea mo e ngaahi foha ʻo Malesa ko e tamai ʻa Hepeloni.
And sons of Caleb brother of Jerahmeel: Mesha his first-born, he [is] father of Ziph; and sons of Mareshah: Abi-Hebron.
43 Pea ko e ngaahi foha ʻo Hepeloni: ko Kola, mo Tapua, mo Likemi, pea mo Sema.
And sons of Hebron: Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.
44 Pea naʻe tupu ʻia Sema ʻa Leami ko e tamai ʻa Sokoami; pea naʻe tupu ʻia Likemi ʻa Samei.
And Shema begat Raham father of Jorkoam, and Rekem begat Shammai.
45 Pea ko e foha ʻo Samei ko Maoni: pea ko Maoni ko e tamai ia kia Pete-Sua.
And a son of Shammai [is] Maon, and Maon [is] father of Beth-Zur.
46 Pea ko Efa, ko e fefine sinifu kia Kelepi, naʻe fanauʻi ʻe ia ʻa Helani, mo Mosa, mo Kesesi: pea naʻe tupu ʻia Helani ʻa Kesesi.
And Ephah concubine of Caleb bare Haran, and Moza, and Gazez; and Haran begat Gazez.
47 Pea ko e ngaahi foha ʻo Satei; ko Likemi, mo Sotani, mo Kesemi, mo Pelati, mo Efa, pea mo Seafi.
And sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Geshem, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
48 Ko Meaka, ko e fefine sinifu ʻa Kelepi, naʻe fanauʻi ʻe ia ʻa Sepeli mo Tilena.
The concubine of Caleb, Maachah, bare Sheber and Tirhanah;
49 Naʻa ne fanauʻi foki ʻe ia ʻa Seafi ko e tamai ʻa Matimana, ko Siva ko e tamai ʻa Makipena, pea mo e tamai ʻa Kepa: pea ko e ʻofefine ʻo Kelepi naʻe ui ko ʻAkesa.
and she beareth Shaaph father of Madmannah, Sheva father of Machbenah, and father of Gibea; and a daughter of Caleb [is] Achsa.
50 Ko e ngaahi foha eni ʻo Kelepi ko e foha ʻo Hua, ko e ʻuluaki fānau kia Efalata; ko Sopale ko e tamai ʻa Kesasialimi,
These were sons of Caleb son of Hur, first-born of Ephrathah: Shobal father of Kirjath-Jearim,
51 Ko Salima ko e tamai ʻa Petelihema, mo Halefi ko e tamai ʻa Petekateli.
Salma father of Beth-Lehem, Hareph father of Beth-Gader.
52 Pea ko Sopale ko e tamai ʻa Kesasialimi naʻe maʻu ʻe ia ʻae ngaahi foha; ko Haloe, mo hono vaheua mālie ʻoe kakai Maneata.
And there are sons to Shobal father of Kirjath-Jearim: Haroeh, half of the Menuhothite;
53 Pea ko e ngaahi faʻahinga eni ʻo Kesasialimi; ko e kakai Itila, mo e kakai Pua, mo e kakai Sumati, mo e kakai Misila; pea naʻe tupu meiate kinautolu ʻae kakai Salea, mo e kakai Esitaoli.
and the families of Kirjath-Jearim: the Ithrite, and the Puhite, and the Shumathite, and the Mishraite: from these went out the Zareathite, and the Eshtaulite.
54 Ko e ngaahi foha eni ʻo Salima; ko Petelihema mo e kakai Nitofa, mo e kakai ʻAtaloti, ko e fale ʻo Soape, pea mo hono vaeua mālie ʻoe kakai Maneata, ko e kakai Sola.
Sons of Salma: Beth-Lehem, and the Netophathite, Atroth, Beth-Joab, and half of the Menuhothite, the Zorite;
55 Pea ko e ngaahi faʻahinga eni ʻoe kau tangata tohi naʻe nofo ʻi Sepesi; ko e kakai Tilati, mo e kakai Simia, mo e kakai Sukati. Ko kinautolu eni ʻae kakai Kēnani naʻe tupu meia Hemati, ko e tamai ʻae fale ʻo Lekapi.
and the families of the scribes the inhabitants of Jabez: Tirathites, Shimeathites, Suchathites. They [are] the Kenites, those coming of Hammath father of the house of Rechab.
