కీర్తనల~ గ్రంథము 87

1 ౧ కోరహు వారసుల కీర్తన. ఒక పాట. పవిత్ర పర్వతాలపై ప్రభువు పట్టణపు పునాది ఉంది.

A Psalm of a Song for the sons of Core. His foundations are in the holy mountains.

2 ౨ యాకోబు గుడారాలన్నిటికంటే సీయోను ద్వారాలు యెహోవాకు ఇష్టం.

The Lord loves the gates of Sion, more than all the tabernacles of Jacob.

3 ౩ దేవుని పట్టణమా, నీ గురించి చాలా గొప్ప విషయాలు చెప్పుకున్నారు. (సెలా)

Glorious things have been spoken of you, O city of God. (Pause)

4 ౪ రాహాబును, బబులోనును నా అనుచరులకు గుర్తు చేస్తాను. చూడండి, ఫిలిష్తీయ, తూరు, ఇతియోపియా ఉన్నాయి గదా, ఇది అక్కడే పుట్టింది.

I will make mention of Raab and Babylon to them that know me: behold also the Philistines, and Tyre, and the people of the Ethiopians: these were born there.

5 ౫ సీయోను గురించి ఇలా అంటారు, వీళ్ళంతా ఆమెకే పుట్టారు. సర్వోన్నతుడు తానే ఆమెను సుస్థిరం చేస్తాడు.

A man shall say, Sion [is my] mother; and [such] a man was born in her; and the Highest himself has founded her.

6 ౬ యెహోవా జనాభా లెక్కలు రాయించేటప్పుడు, ఈ ప్రజ అక్కడే పుట్టింది అంటాడు. (సెలా)

The Lord shall recount [it] in the writing of the people, and of these princes that were born in her.

7 ౭ గాయకులు, నర్తకులు, మా ఊటలన్నీ నీలోనే ఉన్నాయి అంటారు.

The dwelling of all within you is [as the dwelling] of those that rejoice.
