కీర్తనల~ గ్రంథము 76

1 ౧ ప్రధాన సంగీతకారుని కోసం, తీగ వాయిద్యాలతో పాడేది. ఆసాపు కీర్తన, ఒక పాట. యూదాలో దేవుడు తనను తెలియబరచుకున్నాడు. ఇశ్రాయేలులో ఆయన నామం ఘనమైనది.

To the chief Musician. On stringed instruments. A Psalm of Asaph: a Song. In Judah is God known, his name is great in Israel;

2 ౨ షాలేంలో ఆయన నివాసం ఉంది, సీయోనులో ఆయన గృహం ఉంది.

And in Salem is his tent, and his dwelling-place in Zion.

3 ౩ అక్కడ ఆయన విల్లంబులు, డాలు, కత్తి మిగతా యుద్ధాయుధాలను విరిచి వేశాడు. (సెలా)

There broke he the flashings of the bow, shield and sword and battle. (Selah)

4 ౪ నువ్వు నీ శత్రువులను జయించి పర్వతాల నుంచి దిగి వస్తూ మెరిసిపోతున్నావు. నీ మహిమను ప్రదర్శిస్తున్నావు.

More glorious art thou, more excellent, than the mountains of prey.

5 ౫ గుండె ధైర్యం గలవారు దోపిడికి గురి అయ్యారు. నిద్రపోయారు. శూరులంతా నిస్సహాయులయ్యారు.

The stout-hearted are made a spoil, they have slept their sleep; and none of the men of might have found their hands.

6 ౬ యాకోబు దేవా, యుద్ధంలో నీ గద్దింపుకు గుర్రం, రౌతు కూడా మూర్ఛిల్లారు.

At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.

7 ౭ నీకు, నీకు మాత్రమే భయపడాలి. నువ్వు కోపపడితే నీ ఎదుట ఎవరు నిలుస్తారు?

Thou, thou art to be feared, and who can stand before thee when once thou art angry?

8 ౮ నీ తీర్పు పరలోకం నుంచి వచ్చింది, భూమికి భయమేసింది, అది మౌనంగా ఉంది.

Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from the heavens; the earth feared, and was still,

9 ౯ దేవా! నువ్వు తీర్పు ప్రకటించడానికి, దేశమంతటా అణగారిన వాళ్ళను కాపాడడానికి లేచావు. (సెలా)

When God rose up to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. (Selah)

10 ౧౦ కోపంతో వారిపై నీ తీర్పు ప్రజలు కచ్చితంగా నిన్ను స్తుతించేలా చేస్తుంది. నీ ఆగ్రహాన్ని నువ్వు పూర్తిగా వెల్లడిస్తావు.

For the fury of man shall praise thee; the remainder of fury wilt thou gird on thyself.

11 ౧౧ మీ యెహోవా దేవునికి మొక్కుకుని వాటిని చెల్లించండి. ఆయన చుట్టూ ఉన్న వాళ్ళంతా భయభక్తులకు పాత్రుడైన ఆయనకు కానుకలు తీసుకు రండి.

Vow and pay unto Jehovah your God: let all that are round about him bring presents unto him that is to be feared.

12 ౧౨ అధికారుల పొగరును ఆయన అణచివేస్తాడు, భూరాజులు ఆయనకు భయపడతారు.

He cutteth off the spirit of princes; [he] is terrible to the kings of the earth.
