కీర్తనల~ గ్రంథము 73

1 ౧ ఆసాపు కీర్తన ఇశ్రాయేలు పట్ల, శుద్ధహృదయం గలవారి పట్ల దేవుడు నిజంగా దయ గలవాడు.

A Psalm of Asaph. Truly God [is] good to Israel, [even] to such as are of a clean heart.

2 ౨ నా పాదాలు కొద్దిలో జారిపోయేవి. నా అడుగులు దాదాపుగా జారి పోయాయి.

But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.

3 ౩ భక్తిహీనులు క్షేమంగా ఉండడం చూసి వారి గర్వాన్ని చూసి నేను అసూయపడ్డాను.

For I was envious at the foolish, [when] I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

4 ౪ మరణ సమయంలో కూడా వారికి యాతన అనిపించదు. వారు పుష్టిగా ఉన్నారు.

For [there are] no bands in their death: but their strength [is] firm.

5 ౫ ఇతరులకు కలిగే ఇబ్బందులు వారికి కలగవు. ఇతరులకు వచ్చే విపత్తులు వారికి రావు.

They [are] not in trouble [as other] men; neither are they plagued like [other] men.

6 ౬ కాబట్టి గర్వం వారి మెడ చుట్టూ కంఠహారం లాగా ఉంది. దుర్మార్గతను వారు వస్త్రంలాగా ధరిస్తారు.

Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them [as] a garment.

7 ౭ వారి కళ్ళు కొవ్వు పట్టి ఉబ్బి ఉన్నాయి. దురాలోచనలు వారి హృదయంలోనుండి బయటికి వస్తున్నాయి.

Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.

8 ౮ వారు ఎగతాళి చేస్తారు. పొగరుబోతు మాటలు పలుకుతారు. గర్వంగా గొప్పలు చెప్పుకుంటారు.

They are corrupt, and speak wickedly [concerning] oppression: they speak loftily.

9 ౯ వారి మాటలు దేవునికి వ్యతిరేకంగా ఉంటాయి. వారి నాలుకతో భూమి అంతటినీ చుట్టి వస్తారు.

They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth.

10 ౧౦ కాబట్టి దేవుని ప్రజలు వారి పక్షం చేరతారు. వారి మాటలను మంచినీళ్ళు తాగినట్టు తాగుతారు.

Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full [cup] are wrung out to them.

11 ౧౧ దేవునికి ఎలా తెలుస్తుంది? ఇక్కడ ఏమి జరుగుతూ ఉందో ఆయనకి అవగాహన ఉందా? అని వారనుకుంటారు.

And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?

12 ౧౨ గమనించండి. వారు దుర్మార్గులు. మరింత డబ్బు సంపాదిస్తూ విచ్చలవిడిగా ఉంటారు.

Behold, these [are] the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase [in] riches.

13 ౧౩ నా హృదయాన్ని పవిత్రంగా ఉంచుకోవడం వ్యర్థమే. నా చేతులు కడుక్కుని నిర్దోషంగా ఉండడం వ్యర్థమే.

Verily I have cleansed my heart [in] vain, and washed my hands in innocency.

14 ౧౪ రోజంతా నాకు బాధ కలుగుతూ ఉంది. ప్రతి ఉదయం నేను శిక్షకు గురవుతున్నాను.

For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.

15 ౧౫ ఇలాటి మాటలు నేను చెబుతాను అని నేను అన్నట్టయితే నేను ఈ తరంలోని నీ పిల్లలను మోసం చేసినట్టే.

If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend [against] the generation of thy children.

16 ౧౬ అయినా దీన్ని గురించి ఆలోచించినప్పుడు అది నాకు చాలా కష్టసాధ్యం అనిపించింది.

When I thought to know this, it [was] too painful for me;

17 ౧౭ నేను దేవుని పరిశుద్ధ స్థలంలోకి వెళ్లి ధ్యానించినప్పుడు వారి గతి ఏమిటో గ్రహించ గలిగాను.

Until I went into the sanctuary of God; [then] understood I their end.

18 ౧౮ నువ్వు వారిని కాలుజారే స్థలంలో ఉంచావు. నువ్వు వారిని పడదోసినప్పుడు వారు నశిస్తారు.

Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.

19 ౧౯ ఒక్క క్షణంలో వారు అంతమైపోతారు. విపరీతమైన భయంతో నశించిపోతారు.

How are they [brought] into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.

20 ౨౦ నిద్ర మేలుకుని తన కల మరచిపోయినట్టు ప్రభూ, నువ్వు మేలుకుని వారి ఉనికి లేకుండా చేస్తావు.

As a dream when [one] awaketh; [so], O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.

21 ౨౧ నా హృదయంలో దుఃఖం ఉంది. నా అంతరంగంలో నేను గాయపడ్డాను.

Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.

22 ౨౨ అప్పుడు నేను తెలివి తక్కువగా ఆలోచించాను. నీ సన్నిధిలో మృగం వంటి వాడుగా ఉన్నాను.

So foolish [was] I, and ignorant: I was [as] a beast before thee.

23 ౨౩ అయినా నేను నిరంతరం నీతో ఉన్నాను. నువ్వు నా కుడిచెయ్యి పట్టుకుని ఉన్నావు.

Nevertheless I [am] continually with thee: thou hast holden [me] by my right hand.

24 ౨౪ నీ సలహాలతో నన్ను నడిపిస్తావు. తరువాత నన్ను మహిమలో చేర్చుకుంటావు.

Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me [to] glory.

25 ౨౫ పరలోకంలో నువ్వు తప్ప నాకెవరున్నారు? నువ్వు నాకుండగా ఈ లోకంలో నాకింకేమీ అక్కరలేదు.

Whom have I in heaven [but thee]? and [there is] none upon earth [that] I desire beside thee.

26 ౨౬ నా శరీరం, నా హృదయం క్షీణించిపోయినా దేవుడు ఎప్పుడూ నా హృదయానికి బలమైన దుర్గంగా ఉన్నాడు.

My flesh and my heart faileth: [but] God [is] the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

27 ౨౭ నీకు దూరంగా జరిగేవారు నశించిపోతారు. నీకు అపనమ్మకంగా ఉన్నవారందరినీ నువ్వు నాశనం చేస్తావు.

For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.

28 ౨౮ నాకు మాత్రం కావలసింది దేవునికి దగ్గరగా ఉండడమే. యెహోవాను నా ఆశ్రయంగా చేసుకున్నాను. నీ కార్యాలన్నిటినీ నేను ప్రచారం చేస్తాను.

But [it is] good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.
