కీర్తనల~ గ్రంథము 72

1 ౧ సొలొమోను కీర్తన దేవా, రాజుకు నీ న్యాయవిధులను, రాకుమారుడికి నీ నీతిని తెలియజెయ్యి.

A psalm on Solomon.

2 ౨ అతడు నీతిని బట్టి నీ ప్రజలకు, న్యాయవిధులను బట్టి పేదవారికి న్యాయం తీరుస్తాడు గాక.

Give to the king thy judgment, O God: and to the king’s son thy justice: To judge thy people with justice, and thy poor with judgment.

3 ౩ నీతిని బట్టి పర్వతాలు, కొండలు ప్రజలకు క్షేమం కలిగిస్తాయి గాక.

Let the mountains receive peace for the people: and the hills justice.

4 ౪ ప్రజల్లో పేదవారికి అతడు న్యాయం తీరుస్తాడు గాక. అక్కరలో ఉన్నవారి పిల్లలను రక్షించి, బాధపెట్టే వారిని నలగగొడతాడు గాక.

He shall judge the poor of the people, and he shall save the children of the poor: and he shall humble the oppressor.

5 ౫ సూర్యచంద్రులు ఉన్నంత కాలం, తరతరాల్లో ప్రజలు నీలో భయభక్తులు చూపుతారు గాక.

And he shall continue with the sun, and before the moon, throughout all generations.

6 ౬ కోసిన గడ్డిపై కురిసే వానలాగా, భూమిని తడిపే మంచి వర్షంలాగా అతడు దిగి వస్తాడు గాక.

He shall come down like rain upon the fleece; and as showers falling gently upon the earth.

7 ౭ అతని కాలంలో నీతిమంతులు వర్ధిల్లుతారు గాక. చంద్రుడు గతించే వరకూ క్షేమాభివృద్ధి ఉండు గాక.

In his days shall justice spring up, and abundance of peace, till the moon be taken sway.

8 ౮ సముద్రం నుండి సముద్రం వరకూ, యూఫ్రటీసు నది మొదలుకుని భూదిగంతాల వరకూ అతని ఆధిపత్యం వ్యాపిస్తుంది గాక.

And he shall rule from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

9 ౯ ఎడారి ప్రజలు అతనికి లోబడతారు గాక. అతని శత్రువులు నేల మట్టి నాకుతారు గాక.

Before him the Ethiopians shall fall down: and his enemies shall lick the ground.

10 ౧౦ తర్షీషు రాజులు, ద్వీపాల రాజులు కప్పం చెల్లిస్తారు గాక. షేబ రాజులు, సెబా రాజులు కానుకలు తీసుకు వస్తారు గాక.

The kings of Tharsis and the islands shall offer presents: the kings of the Arabians and of Saba shall bring gifts:

11 ౧౧ రాజులందరూ అతని ఎదుట సాగిలపడతారు గాక. అన్యజనాలు అతనికి సేవ చేస్తారు గాక.

And all kings of the earth shall adore him: all nations shall serve him.

12 ౧౨ ఎందుకంటే అక్కరలో ఉన్నవారు మొర పెట్టినప్పుడు అతడు వారికి సహాయం చేస్తాడు. సహాయం దొరకని పేదలను అతడు విడిపిస్తాడు.

For he shall deliver the poor from the mighty: and the needy that had no helper.

13 ౧౩ నిరుపేదల పట్లా అక్కరలో ఉన్నవారి పట్లా అతడు జాలి చూపుతాడు. పేదల ప్రాణాలను అతడు రక్షిస్తాడు.

He shall spare the poor and needy: and he shall save the souls of the poor.

14 ౧౪ బలాత్కారం నుండీ హింస నుండీ అతడు వారి ప్రాణాన్ని విమోచిస్తాడు. వారి ప్రాణం అతని దృష్టికి విలువైనది.

He shall redeem their souls from usuries and iniquity: and their names shall be honourable in his sight.

15 ౧౫ రాజు చిరంజీవి అవుతాడు గాక. షేబ బంగారం అతనికి ఇస్తారు గాక. అతని క్షేమం కోసం ప్రజలు ఎప్పుడూ ప్రార్థన చేస్తారు గాక. దేవుడు రోజంతా అతణ్ణి దీవిస్తాడు గాక.

And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Arabia, for him they shall always adore: they shall bless him all the day.

16 ౧౬ దేశంలో, పర్వత శిఖరాల మీదా ధాన్యం సమృద్ధిగా పండు గాక. వారి పంటలు గాలికి లెబానోను వృక్షాలలాగా ఊగుతూ ఉంటాయి గాక. పట్టణ ప్రజలు భూమి మీది పచ్చికలాగా వర్ధిల్లుతారు గాక.

And there shall be a firmament on the earth on the tops of mountains, above Libanus shall the fruit thereof be exalted: and they of the city shall flourish like the grass of the earth.

17 ౧౭ రాజు నామం శాశ్వతంగా నిలుస్తుంది గాక. అతని పేరు సూర్యుడున్నంత కాలం నిలబడుతుంది గాక. అతనిని బట్టి ప్రజలు దీవెనలు పొందుతారు గాక. అన్యజనాలు అతడు ధన్యుడని చెప్పుకుంటారు గాక.

Let his name be blessed for evermore: his name continueth before the sun. And in him shall all the tribes of the earth be blessed: all nations shall magnify him.

18 ౧౮ ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడైన యెహోవా స్తుతులు పొందుతాడు గాక. ఆయన ఒక్కడే ఆశ్చర్యకార్యాలు చేసేవాడు.

Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, who alone doth wonderful things.

19 ౧౯ ఆయన మహిమగల నామం నిరంతరం స్తుతులు పొందుతుంది గాక. ఈ భూమి అంతా ఆయన మహిమతో నిండి ఉంటుంది గాక. ఆమేన్‌. ఆమేన్‌.

And blessed be the name of his majesty for ever: and the whole earth shall be filled with his majesty. So be it. So be it.

20 ౨౦ యెష్షయి కొడుకు దావీదు ప్రార్థనలు ముగిశాయి.

The praises of David, the son of Jesse, are ended.
