కీర్తనల~ గ్రంథము 64
1 ౧ ప్రధాన సంగీతకారుని కోసం. దావీదు కీర్తన దేవా, నేను మొర పెట్టినప్పుడు నా మనవి విను. నా శత్రువుల భయం నుండి నా ప్రాణాన్ని కాపాడు.
For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. Hear my voice, O God, in my complaint: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
Hide me from the secret counsel of evil-doers; from the tumult of the workers of iniquity:
3 ౩ ఒకడు కత్తికి పదునుపెట్టేలా వారు తమ నాలుకలకు పదును పెడతారు. చేదు మాటలు అనే బాణాలను వారు ఎక్కుపెట్టారు.
Who have whet their tongue like a sword, and have aimed their arrows, even bitter words:
4 ౪ నిరపరాధులను కొట్టాలని రహస్య స్థలాల్లో ఆ బాణాలు సంధిస్తారు. ఏమాత్రం భయపడకుండా వారు అకస్మాత్తుగా వారిని కొడతారు.
That they may shoot in secret places at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
5 ౫ వారు దురాలోచనలు చేస్తూ తమను తాము ప్రోత్సాహ పరచుకుంటారు. చాటుగా వల పన్నడానికి ఆలోచిస్తారు. మనలను ఎవరు చూస్తారులే అని చెప్పుకుంటారు.
They encourage themselves in an evil purpose; they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?
6 ౬ వారు చెడ్డపనులు చేయడానికి కొత్త ప్రణాళికలు తయారు చేస్తారు. ఇది మంచి పన్నాగం, చాలా జాగ్రత్తగా ప్రణాళిక వేశాం అని వారు చెప్పుకుంటారు. మానవుని హృదయంలోని ఆలోచనలు చాలా లోతైనవి.
They search out iniquities; We have accomplished, [say they], a diligent search: and the inward thought of every one, and the heart, is deep.
But God shall shoot at them; with an arrow suddenly shall they be wounded.
So they shall be made to stumble, their own tongue being against them: all that see them shall wag the head.
And all men shall fear; and they shall declare the work of God, and shall wisely consider of his doing.
The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.
