కీర్తనల~ గ్రంథము 63
1 ౧ దావీదు కీర్తన. అతడు యూదా అరణ్యంలో ఉన్నప్పుడు రాసినది దేవా, నా దేవుడివి నీవే. మనసారా నిన్ను వెదుకుతాను. నీళ్లు లేక ఎండిపోయిన ప్రాంతంలో నా ప్రాణం నీకోసం దప్పిగొని ఉంది. నిన్ను చూడాలని నా శరీరం ఆత్రుతతో ఎదురు చూస్తున్నది.
A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, thou [art] my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
To see thy power and thy glory, so [as] I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
Because thy loving-kindness [is] better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
5 ౫ కొవ్వు, మూలుగ తిన్నట్టుగా నా ప్రాణం తృప్తిగా ఉంది. ఆనందించే పెదాలతో నా నోరు నిన్ను కీర్తిస్తుంది.
My soul shall be satisfied as [with] marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise [thee] with joyful lips:
When I remember thee upon my bed, [and] meditate on thee in the [night] watches.
Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.
My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
But those [that] seek my soul to destroy [it], shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.
11 ౧౧ అయితే రాజునైన నేను దేవునిలో సంతోషిస్తాను. ఆయన నామంలో ప్రమాణం చేసేవారంతా ఆయన విషయం గర్వపడతారు. అబద్ధాలు చెప్పే వారి నోరు మూతబడుతుంది.
But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
