కీర్తనల~ గ్రంథము 62

1 ౧ ప్రధాన సంగీతకారుని కోసం. ఎదూతూను అనే రాగంతో పాడేది. దావీదు కీర్తన నా ప్రాణం దేవుని కోసం మౌనంగా కనిపెడుతున్నది. ఆయన వలన నాకు రక్షణ కలుగుతుంది.

To the Chief Musician. On Jeduthun—A Melody of David. Surely, towards God, silence [becometh] my soul, From him, is my salvation:

2 ౨ ఆయనే నా ఆశ్రయదుర్గం. నా రక్షణకర్త. నా ఉన్నతమైన గోపురం ఆయనే. నన్నెవరూ పూర్తిగా కదలించలేరు.

Surely, he, is my rock and my salvation, My high tower—I shall not be greatly shaken!

3 ౩ ఎన్నాళ్లు మీరంతా ఒక్క మనిషిపై దాడి చేస్తారు? ఒకడు ఒరిగిపోయే గోడను, పడిపోతున్న కంచెను కూలదోసినట్టు నీవు ఎంతకాలం ఒక్కణ్ణి కూలదోయాలని చూస్తారు?

How long will ye shout at a man? Ye shall be crushed all of you, —Like a wall that bulgeth, —a fence pushed in!

4 ౪ గౌరవప్రదమైన స్థానం నుండి అతణ్ణి పడదోయడానికే వారు అతనితో ఆలోచిస్తారు. అబద్ధాలు చెప్పడం వారికి సంతోషం. వారు తమ నోటితో దీవెనలు పలుకుతూ వారి హృదయాల్లో మాత్రం అతన్ని శపిస్తారు.

Surely, from his elevation, they have taken counsel to thrust him down, They accept falsehood, —With his mouth, they each of them bless, But, inwardly, they revile. (Selah)

5 ౫ నా ప్రాణమా, మౌనంగా ఉండి దేవుని కోసం కనిపెట్టు. ఆయన వల్లనే నాకు నిరీక్షణ కలుగుతున్నది.

Surely, towards God, be thou silent, my soul, For, from him, is mine expectation:

6 ౬ ఆయనే నా ఆధార శిల, నా రక్షణ. ఎత్తయిన నా గోపురం ఆయనే. నన్నెవరూ పూర్తిగా కదలించలేరు

Surely, he, is my rock, and my salvation, My high tower—I shall not be shaken!

7 ౭ దేవునిలోనే నా రక్షణ, నా మహిమ. నా బలమైన దుర్గం, నా ఆశ్రయం ఆయనలోనే ఉన్నాయి.

Upon God, [depend] my salvation and mine honour, My rock of strength, my refuge, are in God.

8 ౮ ప్రజలారా, ఆయనలో నిరంతరం నమ్మకం ఉంచండి. ఆయన సన్నిధిలో మీ హృదయాలు కుమ్మరించండి. దేవుడే మనకు ఆశ్రయం.

Trust ye in him all ye assembly of the people, Pour out, before him, your heart, God, is a refuge for us. (Selah)

9 ౯ నిజానికి తక్కువ స్థాయి మనుషులు ఎందుకూ పనికిరానివారు. గొప్పవారేమో మాయలాంటివారు. త్రాసులో వారంతా తేలిపోతారు. వారందరినీ కలిపి తూచినా వారు గాలికన్నా తేలికగా ఉన్నారు.

Surely, vanity, are men of low degree, Deception, men of high degree, —In the balances, they go up, They, are [made] of vanity, altogether.

10 ౧౦ బలాత్కారంలో, దోచుకోవడంలో నమ్మకం పెట్టుకోవద్దు. ఐశ్వర్యంలో వ్యర్ధంగా మనసు నిలపవద్దు. ఎందుకంటే అవేవీ ఫలించవు.

Do not trust in extortion, Nor, with robbery, become vain, As for wealth, when it beareth fruit, Do not set [thereon your] heart.

11 ౧౧ ప్రభావం తనదే అని దేవుడు ఒకసారి చెప్పాడు. రెండుసార్లు నేనా మాట విన్నాను.

One thing, hath God spoken, Two things, [there are] which I have heard, That, power, belongeth unto God;

12 ౧౨ కృప చూపడం నీకే చెల్లుతుంది. ఎందుకంటే ప్రభూ, మనుష్యులందరికీ వారు చేసిన క్రియల ప్రకారం నువ్వే ప్రతిఫలమిస్తున్నావు.

And, thine, O My Lord, is lovingkindness, —For, thou, wilt pay back unto every man—according to his deed.
