కీర్తనల~ గ్రంథము 6

1 ౧ ప్రధాన సంగీతకారుని కోసం, తీగ వాయిద్యంతో, షేమినిత్ రాగంలో దావీదు కీర్తన. యెహోవా, నీ కోపంలో నన్ను కసురుకోకు. నీ ఉగ్రతలో నన్ను శిక్షించకు.

To the Chief Musician, with stringed Instruments upon the eighth. A Melody of David. O Yahweh! do not, in thine anger, correct me, nor, in thy wrath, chastise me.

2 ౨ యెహోవా, నేను నీరసంగా ఉన్నాను. నన్ను కరుణించు, యెహోవా, నా ఎముకలు వణుకుతున్నాయి, నన్ను స్వస్థపరచు.

Show me favour, O Yahweh, for languishing am I: Heal me, O Yahweh, —for dismayed are my bones:

3 ౩ నా ప్రాణం కూడా చాలా గాభరాగా ఉంది. యెహోవా, ఇది ఇంకెంత కాలం కొనసాగుతుంది?

Yea, my soul, is dismayed greatly, Thou, then, O Yahweh—how long?

4 ౪ యెహోవా, ఇక విడిచిపెట్టు. నా ఆత్మను విడిపించు. నీ నిబంధన నమ్మకత్వాన్ని బట్టి నన్ను రక్షించు.

Return, O Yahweh, deliver my soul, Save me, for the sake of thy lovingkindness;

5 ౫ మరణంలో ఎవరికీ నీ స్మృతి ఉండదు. పాతాళంలో నీకు కృతజ్ఞతలు ఎవరు చెల్లిస్తారు? (Sheol h7585)

For, in death, is no remembrance of thee, —In hades, who shall give thanks unto thee? (Sheol h7585)

6 ౬ నేను మూలుగుతూ అలసిపోయాను. రాత్రంతా కన్నీటితో నా పరుపు నానిపోతున్నది. నా కన్నీళ్లతో నా పడకను తడిపేస్తున్నాను.

I am weary with my sighing, I flood, through the whole night, my couch, —With my tears, I cause, my bed, to dissolve:

7 ౭ విచారంతో నా కళ్ళు మసకబారాయి. నా ప్రత్యర్థులందరి కారణంగా నా దృష్టి మందగించింది.

My face, is all sunken with sorrow, —it hath aged, because of all mine adversaries.

8 ౮ పాపం చేసే వాళ్ళంతా నా దగ్గరనుంచి తొలిగి పొండి. ఎందుకంటే యెహోవా నా రోదన ధ్వని విన్నాడు.

Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity, for Yahweh hath heard the voice of my weeping:

9 ౯ కరుణ కోసం నేను యెహోవాకు చేసుకున్న విన్నపం ఆయన ఆలకించాడు. యెహోవా నా ప్రార్థన అంగీకరించాడు.

Yahweh, hath heard my supplication, Yahweh, will receive, my prayer.

10 ౧౦ నా శత్రువులందరూ సిగ్గుపడి విపరీతంగా కంగారు పడతారు. వాళ్ళు అకస్మాత్తుగా సిగ్గుపడి వెనక్కి తిరిగిపోతారు.

Let all my foes, turn pale and be greatly dismayed, Again let them turn pale in a moment.
