కీర్తనల~ గ్రంథము 15

1 ౧ దావీదు కీర్తన. యెహోవా, నీ మందిరంలో ఉండదగినవాడు ఎవరు? నీ పవిత్ర పర్వతం మీద నివసించ గలవాడు ఎవరు?

A Psalm of David. LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?

2 ౨ అతడు యథార్థమైన ప్రవర్తన కలిగి, న్యాయమైనది చేస్తూ, హృదయంలోనుంచి సత్యం పలుకుతాడు.

He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.

3 ౩ అతడు నాలుకతో కొండేలు చెప్పడు. ఇతరులకు హాని చెయ్యడు, తన పొరుగు వాణ్ణి కించపరచడు.

[He that] backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbor, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbor.

4 ౪ అతని దృష్టికి నీచుడు అసహ్యుడు. యెహోవా పట్ల భయభక్తులు గలవాళ్ళను అతడు సన్మానిస్తాడు. అతడు మాట ఇచ్చినప్పుడు నష్టం కలిగినా తన మాట వెనక్కి తీసుకోడు.

In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoreth them that fear the LORD. [He that] sweareth to [his own] hurt, and changeth not.

5 ౫ అప్పు ఇచ్చేటప్పుడు వడ్డీ తీసుకోడు. నిరపరాధికి వ్యతిరేకంగా సాక్ష్యం చెప్పడానికి లంచం తీసుకోడు. ఇలా చేసేవాడు ఎన్నడూ చలించడు.

[He that] putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these [things] shall never be moved.
