కీర్తనల~ గ్రంథము 149

1 ౧ యెహోవాను స్తుతించండి. యెహోవాకు నూతన గీతం పాడండి. భక్తులు సమకూడే ప్రతిచోటా ఆయనకు స్తుతి గీతాలు పాడండి.

Hallelujah! Sing unto Jehovah a new song; [sing] his praise in the congregation of the godly.

2 ౨ ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలు తమ సృష్టికర్తను బట్టి సంతోషిస్తారు గాక. సీయోను ప్రజలు తమ రాజును బట్టి ఆనందిస్తారు గాక.

Let Israel rejoice in his Maker; let the sons of Zion be joyful in their King.

3 ౩ వాళ్ళు నాట్యం చేస్తూ ఆయన నామాన్ని ఘనపరుస్తారు గాక. తంబుర, సితారా మోగిస్తూ ఆయనను గూర్చి ఆనంద గీతాలు గానం చేస్తారు గాక.

Let them praise his name in the dance; let them sing psalms unto him with the tambour and harp.

4 ౪ యెహోవా తన ప్రజలందరినీ అమితంగా ప్రేమిస్తున్నాడు. దీనులైన తన ప్రజలకు రక్షణ భాగ్యం ప్రసాదించాడు.

For Jehovah taketh pleasure in his people; he beautifieth the meek with salvation.

5 ౫ ఆయన భక్తులు ఘనమైన స్థితిలో సంతోషంతో ఉప్పొంగిపోతారు గాక. తమ పడకలపై వాళ్ళు సంతోషంగా పాటలు పాడతారు గాక.

Let the godly exult in glory; let them shout for joy upon their beds.

6 ౬ దేవుణ్ణి కీర్తించేందుకు వాళ్ళ నోటినిండా ఉత్సాహ గీతాలు ఉన్నాయి.

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand:

7 ౭ వాళ్ళ చేతుల్లో రెండంచుల ఖడ్గం ఉంది. ఆ ఖడ్గం చేబూని వాళ్ళు అన్యులకు ప్రతీకారం చేస్తారు, వాళ్ళను శిక్షిస్తారు.

To execute vengeance against the nations, [and] punishment among the peoples;

8 ౮ వాళ్ళ రాజులను గొలుసులతో, వాళ్ళలో ఘనత వహించిన వారిని ఇనుప సంకెళ్లతో బంధిస్తారు.

To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

9 ౯ తీర్పులో శిక్ష పొందిన వాళ్లకు శిక్ష అమలు పరుస్తారు. ఆయన భక్తులందరికీ ఈ ఉన్నతమైన గౌరవం దక్కుతుంది. యెహోవాను స్తుతించండి.

To execute upon them the judgment written. This honour have all his saints. Hallelujah!
