కీర్తనల~ గ్రంథము 142
1 ౧ దావీదు దైవధ్యానం. గుహలో ఉన్నప్పుడు దావీదు చేసిన ప్రార్థన నేను గొంతెత్తి యెహోవాకు మొరపెడుతున్నాను. ఎలుగెత్తి యెహోవాను బతిమాలుకుంటున్నాను.
Maschil of David, when he was in the cave; a Prayer. I cry with my voice unto Jehovah; With my voice unto Jehovah do I make supplication.
I pour out my complaint before him; I show before him my trouble.
3 ౩ నాలో నా ప్రాణం కృంగి ఉన్నప్పుడు నా స్థితి ఏమిటో నీకు తెలుసు. నన్ను బంధించడానికి నేను నడిచే దారుల్లో శత్రువులు దొంగచాటుగా వల పన్నుతున్నారు.
When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, Thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walk Have they hidden a snare for me.
4 ౪ నా కుడి పక్కన చూస్తే నన్ను ఆదరించేవాడు ఒక్కడు కూడా కనిపించలేదు. తప్పించుకునే దారి లేదు. నాప్రాణం గురించి పట్టించుకునే వాడే లేడు.
Look on [my] right hand, and see; For there is no man that knoweth me: Refuge hath failed me; No man careth for my soul.
5 ౫ యెహోవా, నేను నీకే మొరపెడుతున్నాను. నన్ను ఆదుకునేది నువ్వే. సజీవులు నివసించే భూమి మీద నా భాగం నువ్వే అంటున్నాను.
I cried unto thee, O Jehovah; I said, Thou art my refuge, My portion in the land of the living.
6 ౬ నా ఆక్రందన ఆలకించు. నేను క్రుంగిపోయి ఉన్నాను. నన్ను తరుముతున్నవాళ్ళు నాకంటే బలవంతులు. వాళ్ళ చేతుల్లో పడకుండా నన్ను కాపాడు.
Attend unto my cry; For I am brought very low: Deliver me from my persecutors; For they are stronger than I.
7 ౭ నేను నీ నామాన్ని కీర్తించేలా చెరలోనుండి నా ప్రాణాన్ని తప్పించు. అప్పుడు నీవు నాకు చేసిన మహోపకారాన్ని బట్టి నీతిమంతులు నా చుట్టూ చేరి ఆనందిస్తారు.
Bring my soul out of prison, That I may give thanks unto thy name: The righteous shall compass me about; For thou wilt deal bountifully with me.
