కీర్తనల~ గ్రంథము 123

1 ౧ యాత్రల కీర్తన పరలోకంలో సింహాసనంపై ఆసీనుడై ఉన్నవాడా, నా కన్నులెత్తి నీ వైపు చూస్తున్నాను.

A song of degrees. I lift vp mine eyes to thee, that dwellest in the heauens.

2 ౨ సేవకుల కళ్ళు తమ యజమాని చేతి వైపు, దాసి కళ్ళు తన యజమానురాలి చేతి వైపు చూస్తాయి. అలాగే దేవుడైన యెహోవా మనపై కరుణ చూపించేదాకా మన కళ్ళు ఆయనవైపు చూస్తున్నాయి.

Behold, as the eyes of seruants looke vnto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a mayden vnto the hand of her mistres: so our eyes waite vpon the Lord our God vntil he haue mercie vpon vs.

3 ౩ యెహోవా, మమ్మల్ని కరుణించు, మమ్మల్ని కరుణించు. మేము తీవ్ర తిరస్కారానికి గురయ్యాము.

Haue mercie vpon vs, O Lord, haue mercie vpon vs: for we haue suffered too much contempt.

4 ౪ అలగాజనం వేసే నిందలతో, గర్విష్ఠుల తిరస్కారాలతో మేము నిండిపోయాము.

Our soule is filled too full of ye mocking of the wealthy, and of the despitefulnes of the proude.
