కీర్తనల~ గ్రంథము 12

1 ౧ ప్రధాన సంగీతకారుని కోసం, దావీదు కీర్తన. షేమినిత్ రాగం. యెహోవా నాకు సహాయం చెయ్యి, ఎందుకంటే, భక్తిపరులు అదృశ్యమై పోయారు. నమ్మకస్తులు కనిపించడం లేదు.

For the chief music-maker on the Sheminith. A Psalm. Of David. Send help, Lord, for mercy has come to an end; there is no more faith among the children of men.

2 ౨ అందరూ తమ పొరుగు వాళ్ళతో అబద్ధాలు చెబుతున్నారు. అందరూ మోసకరమైన పెదాలతో ద్వంద్వ హృదయంతో మాట్లాడుతున్నారు.

Everyone says false words to his neighbour: their tongues are smooth in their talk, and their hearts are full of deceit.

3 ౩ యెహోవా, మోసపు మాటలు పలికే పెదాలనూ, గొప్పలు చెప్పుకునే ప్రతి నాలుకనూ కోసివెయ్యి.

The smooth lips and the tongue of pride will be cut off by the Lord.

4 ౪ మా నాలుకలతో మేము సాధిస్తాం, మా పెదాలతో మేము మాట్లాడినప్పుడు మా మీద ప్రభువుగా ఎవరు ఉండగలరు? అని అంటున్నది వీళ్ళే.

They have said, With our tongues will we overcome; our lips are ours: who is lord over us?

5 ౫ పేదలకు విరోధంగా జరుగుతున్న హింస కారణంగా, అవసరతలో ఉన్నవాళ్ళ మూలుగుల కారణంగా నేను లేచి వస్తాను, అని యెహోవా అంటున్నాడు. వాళ్ళు ఎదురు చూస్తున్న ఆ రక్షణ నేను వాళ్లకు అందిస్తాను.

Because of the crushing of the poor and the weeping of those in need, now will I come to his help, says the Lord; I will give him the salvation which he is desiring.

6 ౬ యెహోవా మాటలు పవిత్రమైనవి. అవి కొలిమిలో ఏడు సార్లు నిర్మలం చేసిన వెండి అంత పరిశుద్ధం.

The words of the Lord are true words: like silver tested by fire and burned clean seven times.

7 ౭ నువ్వు యెహోవావు! నువ్వు వాళ్ళను కాపాడతావు. భక్తిగల వాళ్ళను ఈ దుర్మార్గపు తరం నుంచి శాశ్వతకాలం సంరక్షిస్తావు.

You will keep them, O Lord, you will keep them safe from this generation for ever.

8 ౮ మనుషుల్లో చెడుతనం ప్రబలినప్పుడు, దుర్మార్గులు అన్నివైపులా తిరుగుతారు.

The sinners are walking on every side, and evil is honoured among the children of men.
