కీర్తనల~ గ్రంథము 106

1 ౧ యెహోవాను స్తుతించండి. యెహోవా దయాళుడు. ఆయన నిబంధన విశ్వాస్యత నిరంతరం ఉంటుంది.

Praise Yahweh. Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever.

2 ౨ యెహోవా పరాక్రమ కార్యాలను వర్ణించగలవాడెవడు? ఆయన కీర్తి అంతటినీ ఎవడు ప్రకటించగలడు?

Who can recount the mighty acts of Yahweh or proclaim in full all his praiseworthy deeds?

3 ౩ న్యాయం అనుసరించేవారు, ఎల్లవేళలా నీతిననుసరించి నడుచుకునేవారు ధన్యులు.

Blessed are those who do what is right, and whose deeds are always just.

4 ౪ యెహోవా, నీవు ఏర్పరచుకున్నవారి క్షేమం నేను చూస్తూ నీ ప్రజలకు కలిగే సంతోషాన్ని బట్టి నేను సంతోషిస్తూ,

Call me to mind, Yahweh, when you show favor to your people; help me when you save them.

5 ౫ నీ వారసత్వ ప్రజతో కలిసి కొనియాడేలా నీ ప్రజల పట్ల నీకున్న దయ చొప్పున నన్ను జ్ఞాపకానికి తెచ్చుకో. నాకు దర్శనమిచ్చి నన్ను రక్షించు.

Then I will see the prosperity of your chosen, rejoice in the gladness of your nation, and glory with your inheritance.

6 ౬ మా పితరుల్లాగానే మేము పాపం చేశాము. దోషాలు మూటగట్టుకుని భక్తిహీనులమైపోయాము.

We have sinned like our ancestors; we have done wrong, and we have done evil.

7 ౭ ఈజిప్టులో మా పూర్వీకులు నీ అద్భుతాలను గ్రహించలేదు. నీ కృపాబాహుళ్యం జ్ఞాపకం తెచ్చుకోలేదు. సముద్రం దగ్గర, ఎర్రసముద్రం దగ్గర వారు తిరుగు బాటు చేశారు.

Our fathers did not appreciate your marvelous deeds in Egypt; they ignored your many acts of covenant faithfulness; they were rebellious at the sea, the Sea of Reeds.

8 ౮ అయినా తన మహా పరాక్రమాన్ని ప్రసిద్ధి చేయడానికి ఆయన తన నామాన్నిబట్టి వారిని రక్షించాడు.

Nevertheless, he saved them for his name's sake so that he might reveal his power.

9 ౯ ఆయన ఎర్రసముద్రాన్ని గద్దించగా అది ఆరిపోయింది. మైదానం మీద నడిచినట్టు ఆయన వారిని అగాధజలాల్లో నడిపించాడు.

He rebuked the Sea of Reeds, and it dried up. Then he led them through the depths, as through a wilderness.

10 ౧౦ పగవారి చేతిలోనుండి వారిని రక్షించాడు. శత్రువుల చేతిలోనుండి వారిని విమోచించాడు.

He saved them from the hand of those who hated them, and he rescued them from the hand of the enemy.

11 ౧౧ నీళ్లు వారి శత్రువులను ముంచివేశాయి. వారిలో ఒక్కడైనా మిగల్లేదు.

But the waters covered their adversaries; not one of them survived.

12 ౧౨ అప్పుడు వారు ఆయన మాటలు నమ్మారు. ఆయన కీర్తిని గానం చేశారు.

Then they believed his words, and they sang his praise.

13 ౧౩ అయినా వారు ఆయన కార్యాలను వెంటనే మర్చిపోయారు. ఆయన ఆలోచన కోసం కనిపెట్టుకోలేదు.

But they quickly forgot what he had done; they did not wait for his instructions.

14 ౧౪ అరణ్యంలో వారు ఎంతో ఆశించారు. ఎడారిలో దేవుణ్ణి పరీక్షించారు.

They had insatiable cravings in the wilderness, and they challenged God in the desert.

15 ౧౫ వారు కోరినది ఆయన వారికి ఇచ్చాడు. అయినా వారి ప్రాణాలకు ఆయన క్షీణత కలగజేశాడు.

So he gave them what they requested, but he sent a horrible disease upon them.

16 ౧౬ వారు తమ శిబిరంలో మోషేపైనా యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠితుడు అహరోనుపైనా అసూయపడ్డారు.

In the camp they became jealous of Moses and Aaron, the holy priest of Yahweh.

17 ౧౭ భూమి నెర్రె విచ్చి దాతానును మింగేసింది. అది అబీరాము బృందాన్ని కప్పేసింది.

The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan and covered the followers of Abiram.

18 ౧౮ వారి మధ్యలో అగ్ని రగులుకుంది. దాని మంట భక్తిహీనులను కాల్చివేసింది.

Fire broke out among them; the fire consumed the wicked.

19 ౧౯ హోరేబులో వారు దూడను చేయించుకున్నారు. పోత పోసిన విగ్రహానికి మొక్కారు.

They made a calf at Horeb and worshiped a cast metal figure.

20 ౨౦ తమ దేవుని మహిమను వారు గడ్డి మేసే ఎద్దు రూపానికి మార్చివేశారు.

They traded the glory of God for the image of a bull that eats grass.

21 ౨౧ ఈజిప్టులో గొప్ప కార్యాలను, హాము దేశంలో ఆశ్చర్యకార్యాలను

They forgot God their Savior, who had done great deeds in Egypt.

22 ౨౨ ఎర్రసముద్రం దగ్గర భయం గొలిపే క్రియలను చేసిన తమ రక్షకుడైన దేవుణ్ణి మర్చిపోయారు.

He had done wonderful things in the land of Ham and mighty acts at the Sea of Reeds.

23 ౨౩ అప్పుడు ఆయన “నేను వారిని నశింపజేస్తాను” అన్నాడు. అయితే ఆయన వారిని నశింపజేయకుండేలా ఆయన కోపం చల్లార్చడానికి ఆయన ఏర్పరచుకున్న మోషే ఆయన సన్నిధిలో నిలిచి అడ్డుపడ్డాడు.

So he said he would destroy them— had not Moses, his chosen one, stood in the breach before him, to turn away his anger from destroying them.

24 ౨౪ రమ్యమైన దేశాన్ని వారు నిరాకరించారు. ఆయన మాట నమ్మలేదు.

Then they despised the fruitful land; they did not believe his promise,

25 ౨౫ యెహోవా మాట వినకుండా వారు తమ గుడారాల్లో సణుగుకున్నారు.

but grumbled in their tents, and did not obey Yahweh.

26 ౨౬ అప్పుడు అరణ్యంలో వారు కూలిపోయేలా చేయడానికి,

Therefore he raised his hand and swore to them that he would let them die in the desert,

27 ౨౭ అన్యజనులలో వారి సంతానాన్ని కూల్చడానికి, దేశంలో వారిని చెదరగొట్టడానికి ఆయన వారిపై చెయ్యి ఎత్తాడు.

scatter their descendants among the nations, and scatter them in foreign lands.

28 ౨౮ వారు బయల్పెయోరును హత్తుకుని, చచ్చిన వారికి అర్పించిన బలిమాంసాన్ని భుజించారు.

They worshiped the Baal of Peor and ate the sacrifices offered to the dead.

29 ౨౯ వారు తమ క్రియలచేత ఆయనకు కోపం పుట్టించగా వారిలో తెగులు చెలరేగింది.

They provoked him to anger with their actions, and a plague broke out among them.

30 ౩౦ ఫీనెహాసు లేచి పరిహారం చేయగా ఆ తెగులు ఆగిపోయింది.

Then Phinehas rose to intervene, and the plague subsided.

31 ౩౧ నిత్యం తరాలన్నిటిలో అతనికి ఆ పని నీతిగా ఎంచబడింది.

It was counted to him as a righteous deed to all generations forever.

32 ౩౨ మెరీబా జలాల దగ్గర వారు ఆయనకు కోపం పుట్టించారు. కాబట్టి వారి మూలంగా మోషేకు బాధ కలిగింది.

They also angered Yahweh at the waters of Meribah, and Moses suffered because of them.

33 ౩౩ ఎలాగంటే వారు అతనికి విరక్తి పుట్టించారు. ఫలితంగా అతడు తొందరపడి మాట్లాడాడు.

They made Moses bitter, and he spoke rashly.

34 ౩౪ యెహోవా వారికి ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్టు వారు అన్యజాతులను నాశనం చేయలేదు.

They did not destroy the nations as Yahweh had commanded them,

35 ౩౫ అన్యజనులతో సహవాసం చేసి వారి క్రియలు నేర్చుకున్నారు.

but they mingled with the nations and learned their ways

36 ౩౬ వారి విగ్రహాలకు పూజ చేశారు. అవి వారికి ఉరి అయినాయి.

and worshiped their idols, which became a snare to them.

37 ౩౭ వారు తమ కొడుకులను, తమ కూతుళ్ళను దయ్యాలకు బలిగా అర్పించారు.

They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons.

38 ౩౮ నిర్దోష రక్తం, అంటే తమ కొడుకుల రక్తం తమ కూతుళ్ళల రక్తం ఒలికించారు. కనాను జాతి వారి బొమ్మలకు వారిని బలిగా అర్పించారు. ఆ రక్తం వలన దేశం అపవిత్రం అయిపోయింది.

They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, desecrating the land with blood.

39 ౩౯ తమ క్రియల వలన వారు అపవిత్రులైపోయారు. తమ నడవడిలో వ్యభిచారులయ్యారు.

They were defiled by their deeds; in their actions they were like prostitutes.

40 ౪౦ కాబట్టి యెహోవా కోపం ఆయన ప్రజల మీద రగులుకుంది. ఆయన తన వారసత్వంపై అసహ్యపడ్డాడు.

So Yahweh was angry with his people, and he despised his own people.

41 ౪౧ ఆయన వారిని అన్యజనుల చేతికి అప్పగించాడు. పగవారు వారిని ఏలారు.

He gave them into the hand of the nations, and those who hated them ruled over them.

42 ౪౨ శత్రువులు వారిని బాధపెట్టారు. వారు శత్రువుల చేతి కింద అణగారిపోయారు.

Their enemies oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection to their authority.

43 ౪౩ అనేక మార్లు ఆయన వారిని విడిపించాడు. అయినా వారు తమ ఆలోచనను అనుసరించి తిరుగుబాటు చేస్తూ వచ్చారు. తమ పాపం మూలంగా హీనదశకు వెళ్ళిపోయారు.

Many times he came to help them, but they kept rebelling and were brought low by their own sin.

44 ౪౪ అయినా వారి రోదన తనకు వినబడగా వారికి కలిగిన బాధను ఆయన చూశాడు.

Nevertheless, he paid attention to their distress when he heard their cry for help.

45 ౪౫ వారిని తలంచుకుని ఆయన తన నిబంధనను జ్ఞాపకం చేసుకున్నాడు. తన నిబంధన విశ్వాస్యతను బట్టి వారిని కరుణించాడు.

He called to mind his covenant with them and relented because of his steadfast love.

46 ౪౬ వారిని చెరగొనిపోయిన వారికందరికీ వారంటే జాలి పుట్టించాడు.

He caused all their conquerers to have pity on them.

47 ౪౭ యెహోవా మా దేవా, మమ్మల్ని రక్షించు. మేము నీ పరిశుద్ధనామానికి కృతజ్ఞతాస్తుతులు చెల్లించేలా, నిన్ను స్తుతిస్తూ మేము గర్వించేలా అన్యజనుల్లో నుండి మమ్మల్ని పోగుచెయ్యి.

Save us, Yahweh, our God. Gather us from among the nations so that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praises.

48 ౪౮ ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా యుగయుగాలకూ స్తుతినొందు గాక. ప్రజలందరూ ఆమేన్‌ అందురు గాక. యెహోవాను స్తుతించండి.

May Yahweh, the God of Israel, be praised from everlasting to everlasting. All the people said, “Amen.” Praise Yahweh.
