కీర్తనల~ గ్రంథము 1

1 ౧ దుర్మార్గుల సలహా ప్రకారం నడుచుకోనివాడు, పాపాత్ముల దారిలో నిలవనివాడు, అల్లరి మూకలతో కూర్చోని వాడు ధన్యుడు.

Blessed [is] the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2 ౨ అతడు యెహోవా ధర్మశాస్త్రంలో ఆనందిస్తాడు. అతడు రేయింబవళ్ళు దాన్ని ధ్యానం చేస్తూ ఉంటాడు.

But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

3 ౩ అతడు నీటికాలువల ఒడ్డున నాటి, ఆకు వాడకుండా తగిన కాలంలో ఫలించే చెట్టులాగా ఉంటాడు. అతడు ఏది చేసినా వర్ధిల్లుతాడు.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

4 ౪ దుర్మార్గులు అలా ఉండరు. వాళ్ళు గాలికి ఎగిరిపోయే ఊకలాగా ఉంటారు.

The ungodly [are] not so: but [are] like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

5 ౫ కాబట్టి తీర్పులో దుర్మార్గులు నిలవరు. అలానే నీతిమంతుల సభలో పాపులు నిలవరు.

Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

6 ౬ నీతిపరుల మార్గం యెహోవాకు ఆమోదం. దుర్మార్గుల మార్గం నాశనం.

For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
