సామెతలు 7

1 ౧ కుమారా, నా మాటలు నీ మనసులో ఉంచుకో. నా ఆజ్ఞలు నీ దగ్గర పదిలంగా దాచుకో.

O son my keep words my and commandments my you will treasure with you.

2 ౨ నా ఆజ్ఞలను నీ మనసులో ఉంచుకుని నీ కంటిపాపలాగా నా ఉపదేశాన్ని కాపాడుకుంటే నీకు జీవం కలుగుతుంది.

Keep commandments my and live and instruction my like [the] pupil of eyes your.

3 ౩ నీ చేతి వేళ్లకు వాటిని కట్టుకో. నీ హృదయమనే పలక మీద వాటిని రాసి ఉంచుకో.

Bind them on fingers your write them on [the] tablet of heart your.

4 ౪ జ్ఞానంతో “నీవు నా సోదరివి” అని చెప్పు. వివేకాన్ని నీ బంధువుగా భావించు.

Say to wisdom [are] sister my you and a relative to discernment you will call.

5 ౫ అలా చేస్తే నువ్వు వ్యభిచారి దగ్గరికి వెళ్ళకుండా, సరసాలాడే స్త్రీ వలలో పడకుండా నిన్ను నీవు కాపాడుకుంటావు.

To keep you from a woman strange from a foreign [woman] [who] words her she makes smooth.

6 ౬ నా యింటి కిటికీలో నుండి, కిటికీ పరదా నుండి నేను చూశాను.

For at [the] window of house my through lattice my I looked down.

7 ౭ జ్ఞానం లేని యువకుల మధ్య ఒక తెలివి తక్కువ యువకుడు నాకు కనబడ్డాడు.

And I saw among the naive people I observed among the sons a youth lacking of heart.

8 ౮ సాయంత్ర సమయం ముగిసి చిమ్మచీకటి కమ్ముతున్న రాత్రివేళ అతడు వ్యభిచారి ఉండే వీధిలో ప్రవేశించాడు.

[who] was passing by In the street beside corner her and [the] direction of house her he strode.

9 ౯ ఆ వీధిలో తిరుగుతూ అది ఉండే యింటి దారి పట్టాడు.

At twilight in [the] evening of [the] day in [the] middle of [the] night and darkness.

10 ౧౦ అప్పుడు వేశ్య వేషం ధరించిన ఒక కుటిల బుద్ధిగల స్త్రీ అతనికి ఎదురు వచ్చింది.

And there! a woman to meet him [the] garment of a prostitute and guarded of heart.

11 ౧౧ ఆమె తిరుగుబోతు. అదుపు లేకుండా తిరుగుతూ ఉండేది. ఆమె కాళ్ళు ఇంట్లో నిలవవు.

[is] boisterous She and rebellious in house her not they stay feet her.

12 ౧౨ ఆమె ఒక్కోసారి తన ఇంటి ఎదుట, ఒక్కోసారి పట్టణ వీధుల్లో ఉంటుంది. ప్రతి సందులోనూ ఆమె కాపు కాసి ఉంటుంది.

A time - in the street a time in the open places and beside every corner she lies in wait.

13 ౧౩ ఆమె ఆ యువకుణ్ణి పట్టుకుని ముద్దు పెట్టుకుంది. సిగ్గు, బిడియం లేని ముఖంతో అతనితో ఇలా చెప్పింది,

And she takes hold on him and she kisses him she has made firm face her and she said to him.

14 ౧౪ “నేను శాంతి బలులు చెల్లించవలసి ఉంది. ఇప్పుడే నా మొక్కుబడులు చెల్లించాను.

Sacrifices of peace offerings [are] on me this day I have paid vows my.

15 ౧౫ నిన్ను కలుసుకోవాలని, నీకు ఎదురు రావాలని బయలుదేరాను. నువ్వే నాకు కనబడ్డావు.

There-fore I have come out to meet you to seek face your and I have found you.

16 ౧౬ నా మంచంపై రత్న కంబళ్ళు పరిచాను. ఐగుప్తు నుండి తెప్పించిన నైపుణ్యంగా అల్లిన నార దుప్పట్లు వేశాను.

Coverings I have spread couch my colored fabrics linen of Egypt.

17 ౧౭ నా పరుపు మీద బోళం, అత్తరు, దాల్చిన చెక్క చల్లాను.

I have sprinkled bed my myrrh aloes and cinnamon.

18 ౧౮ బయలు దేరు, ఇద్దరం మోహంతో కోరిక తీర్చుకుందాం. తెల్లవారే దాకా తనివితీరా తృప్తి పొందుదాం.

Come! let us take our fill of love until the morning let us delight ourselves with love.

19 ౧౯ నా భర్త ఇంట్లో లేడు. ప్రయాణం చేసి చాలా దూరం వెళ్ళాడు.

For not the husband [is] in house his he has gone on a journey from a distance.

20 ౨౦ అతడు డబ్బు సంచి తనతో తీసుకు వెళ్ళాడు. పున్నమి రోజు వరకూ ఇంటికి తిరిగి రాడు.”

[the] bag of Money he has taken in hand his to [the] day of the full moon he will come house his.

21 ౨౧ ఆ విధంగా ఆమె తన మృదువైన మాటలు పదే పదే చెబుతూ, లాలిస్తూ అతణ్ణి లోబరచుకుంది. పొగడ్తలతో ముంచెత్తుతూ అతణ్ణి ఈడ్చుకు పోయింది.

She turns him with [the] greatness of persuasiveness her with [the] seductiveness of lips her she impels him.

22 ౨౨ వెంటనే అతడు ఆమె వెంట వెళ్ళాడు. పశువు వధకై వెళ్లినట్టు, పరాయివాళ్ళ చేతికి చిక్కి చెరసాల పాలైనట్టు అతడు వెళ్ళాడు.

[he is] walking Behind her suddenly like an ox [which] to [the] slaughter it goes and like an anklet to [the] chastening of a fool.

23 ౨౩ పక్షి తనకు ప్రాణాపాయం ఉన్నదని తెలియక ఉచ్చులో పడినట్టు, అతని గుండెను చీల్చే బాణం దూసుకుపోయేంత వరకూ అతడు ఆమె వెంటబడి వెళ్ళాడు.

Until it will pierce an arrow liver his as hurries a bird into a trap and not he knows that [is] for life his it.

24 ౨౪ నా కుమారులారా, నా మాటలు వినండి. నేను చెప్పేది జాగ్రత్తగా ఆలకించండి.

And therefore O children listen to me and be attentive to [the] words of mouth my.

25 ౨౫ నీ మనస్సు వ్యభిచారి నడిచే మార్గాల వైపు మళ్ళనియ్యకు. దారి తప్పి ఆమె నడిచే దారిలోకి పోకు.

May not it turn aside to ways her heart your may not it go astray in pathways her.

26 ౨౬ ఆమె అనేకులను లోబరచుకుని గాయపరచింది. లెక్కలేనంతమంది ఆమె బారిన పడి నాశనమయ్యారు.

For many slain [ones] she has made fall and [are] numerous all killed [men] her.

27 ౨౭ ఆమె ఇల్లు పాతాళానికి నడిపించే దారి. ఆ దారి మరణానికి నడిపిస్తుంది. (Sheol h7585)
