మార్కు 13
1 ౧ యేసు దేవాలయంలో నుండి వస్తూ ఉండగా ఆయన శిష్యుల్లో ఒకడు, “బోధకా! ఈ రాళ్ళు, కట్టడాలు ఎంత అద్భుతంగా ఉన్నాయో చూశావా!” అన్నాడు.
As Jesus was leaving the Temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Teacher, look at these massive stones and magnificent buildings!”
2 ౨ యేసు అతనితో, “ఈ గొప్ప కట్టడాలు చూస్తున్నావు కదా! రాయి మీద రాయి నిలవకుండా ఈ రాళ్ళన్నీ కూలిపోతాయి” అన్నాడు.
“You see all these great buildings?” Jesus replied. “Not one stone will be left on top of another. Everything will be torn down.”
3 ౩ యేసు దేవాలయానికి ఎదురుగా ఉన్న ఒలీవల కొండ మీద కూర్చుని ఉన్నప్పుడు పేతురు, యాకోబు, యోహాను, అంద్రెయ ఏకాంతంగా ఆయనను ఇలా అడిగారు.
As Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives overlooking the Temple, Peter, James, John, and Andrew asked him in private,
“Tell us: when this will happen? What's the sign that all this is about to be fulfilled?”
Jesus began telling them, “Make sure no one deceives you.
Many will come in my name claiming, ‘I am the Christ.’ They will deceive many people.
7 ౭ మీరు యుద్ధాల గురించిన వార్తలు, వదంతులు విన్నప్పుడు ఆందోళన చెందకండి. అవి తప్పక సంభవిస్తాయి. కాని అంతం అప్పుడే రాదు.
Don't be troubled when you hear of wars nearby and wars far away. These things must happen but this is not the end.
8 ౮ జనం మీదికి జనం, దేశం మీదికి దేశం లేస్తాయి. అనేక ప్రాంతాల్లో భూకంపాలు, కరువులు వస్తాయి. ఇవి ప్రసవించే ముందు కలిగే నొప్పుల్లాంటివి మాత్రమే.
Nation will fight against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines too. These are the beginnings of the world's birth pains.
9 ౯ మీరు జాగ్రతగా ఉండండి! కొందరు మిమ్మల్ని చట్టసభలకు అప్పగిస్తారు. సమాజ మందిరాల్లో మీరు దెబ్బలు తినవలసి వస్తుంది. నా కారణంగా మీరు అధికారుల ముందు, రాజుల ముందు నిలబడి సాక్ష్యం చెప్పవలసి వస్తుంది.
Watch out for yourselves! They will hand you over to the courts to be tried. You will be beaten in synagogues. Because of me you will have to stand before governors and kings, and you will be witnesses to them.
The good news must first be announced in every nation.
11 ౧౧ వారు మిమ్మల్ని పట్టుకుని తీర్పుకు అప్పగించేటప్పుడు మీరు ఏమి మాట్లాడాలో అని కంగారుపడకండి. ఏమి మాట్లాడాలో ముందుగా ఆలోచన చేసుకోవద్దు. ఆ గడియలో మీకేది ఇయ్యబడుతుందో అదే చెప్పండి. ఎందుకంటే ఆ సమయంలో మాట్లాడేది మీరు కాదు, పరిశుద్ధాత్మ.
When they come to arrest you and put you on trial, don't worry what to say. Just say what you're told at that time, because it's not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.
12 ౧౨ సోదరుడు తన సోదరుడికి ద్రోహం చేసి చావుకు అప్పగిస్తారు. అదే విధంగా తండ్రి తన కుమారుణ్ణి మరణానికి అప్పగిస్తాడు. పిల్లలు తల్లిదండ్రులకు వ్యతిరేకంగా లేచి వారిని మరణానికి అప్పగిస్తారు.
Brother will betray brother to death, and a father will betray his child. Children will turn against their parents and have them condemned to death.
You will be hated by everyone because of me, but whoever endures until the end will be saved.
14 ౧౪ “వినాశకారి అయిన హేయ వస్తువు నిలబడకూడని స్థలంలో నిలబడడం మీరు చూసినప్పుడు (ఇది చదివేవాడు గ్రహిస్తాడు గాక) యూదయలో ఉన్నవారు కొండల్లోకి పారిపోవాలి.
But when you see the ‘idolatry that defiles’ standing where he should not be (let the reader understand), then those who are in Judea should run to the mountains.
15 ౧౫ మిద్దె మీద ఉన్న వారు కిందికి దిగి ఇళ్ళలోకి వెళ్ళడం గానీ తమ వస్తువులు తెచ్చుకోవడం గానీ చేయకూడదు.
Those who are on the roof—don't go back inside the house to get anything.
Those who are out in the fields—don't go home to get a coat.
How hard it will be for those who are pregnant or nursing at that time!
Pray that this won't happen during the winter.
19 ౧౯ ఎందుకంటే దేవుడు ఈ ప్రపంచాన్ని సృష్టించిన రోజు నుండి ఈనాటి వరకూ ఎన్నడూ రాని కష్టాలు ఆ రోజుల్లో వస్తాయి. అవి ఇక ముందు రావు కూడా.
For these will be days of trouble like never before since the beginning of God's creation until now, and they won't ever come again.
20 ౨౦ దేవుడు ఆ రోజుల సంఖ్య తక్కువ చెయ్యకపోతే శరీరం ఉన్న ఎవ్వరూ తప్పించుకోలేరు. కాని, తాను ఎన్నుకున్న ప్రజల కోసం ఆయన ఆ రోజులను తక్కువ చేస్తాడు.
If God doesn't cut short these days, no one will survive. However, for the sake of those God has chosen, he has cut them short.
So if anyone tells you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah,’ or ‘Look, there he is,’ don't believe it.
22 ౨౨ కపట క్రీస్తులు, కపట ప్రవక్తలు వస్తారు. అద్భుతాలు, మహత్కార్యాలు ప్రదర్శించి దేవుడు ఎన్నుకున్న వారిని కూడా మోసగించి తప్పు దారి పట్టిస్తారు.
For false Messiahs and false prophets will appear, and they will perform miraculous signs and wonders to deceive the chosen of God, if that were possible.
Watch out! I've told you everything before it happens.
This is what will happen after those troubles: ‘The sun will become dark, the moon won't shine,
the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.’
Then they will see the Son of man as he comes on the clouds, possessing great power and glory.
27 ౨౭ అప్పుడాయన భూమి నలువైపుల నుండి ఆకాశం నలువైపుల దాకా తన దూతలను పంపి ఆయన ఎన్నుకున్న ప్రజలను పోగుచేయిస్తాడు.”
He will send out the angels, and gather together all his chosen ones from wherever they are, from the most distant part of the earth to the farthest point of heaven.
28 ౨౮ “అంజూరు చెట్టును చూసి ఈ ఉపమానం నేర్చుకోండి. దాని కొమ్మలు చిగురించడం చూసి వసంతకాలం వస్తున్నదని మీరు గ్రహిస్తారు.
Learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branches grow soft and send out leaves, you know that summer is near.
29 ౨౯ అదే విధంగా ఈ సంగతులు జరగడం మీరు చూసినప్పుడు ఆయన దగ్గరలోనే ఉన్నాడనీ, త్వరలో రాబోతున్నాడనీ తెలుసుకోండి.
In the same way, when you see these things happening, you know that it's near—right outside the door!
I tell you the truth, this generation won't come to an end until all these things have happened.
Heaven and earth will come to an end, but my teachings will not.
32 ౩౨ అయితే ఆ రోజు, ఆ గంట ఎప్పుడు వస్తుందో పరలోకంలోని దేవదూతలకు గాని, కుమారుడికి గానీ, మరెవ్వరికీ తెలియదు. తండ్రికి మాత్రమే తెలుసు.
No one knows the day or hour when this will happen—not even the angels in heaven, not even the Son; only the Father knows.
Keep watch! Stay awake! For you don't know when this will happen.
34 ౩౪ “ఇది తన ఇల్లు విడిచి వేరే దేశం వెళ్ళిన ఒక మనిషిలాగా ఉంటుంది. అతడు తన సేవకులకు అధికారం ఇచ్చి, ఒక్కొక్కడికి ఒక్కొక్క పని అప్పగించి ద్వారం దగ్గర ఉన్నవాడికి మెలకువగా ఉండమని చెప్పాడు.
It's like a man who went away on a journey. He left his house, and gave each of his servants the authority to do what he told them. He told the doorkeeper to stay awake.
35 ౩౫ కాబట్టి ఎప్పుడూ అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండండి. ఎందుకంటే ఇంటి యజమాని ఎప్పుడు తిరిగి వస్తాడో మీకు తెలియదు. సాయంత్రం వస్తాడో, అర్థరాత్రి వస్తాడో, కోడి కూసే వేళ వస్తాడో, సూర్యోదయం వేళ వస్తాడో మీకు తెలియదు.
So keep watch, because you don't know when the owner of the house is coming back. It may be in the evening, in the middle of the night, before dawn, or in the morning.
You don't want to be caught sleeping if he returns unexpectedly.
What I'm telling you, I'm telling everyone: Watch!”
