లూకా 4
1 ౧ యేసు పరిశుద్ధాత్మతో నిండి యొర్దాను నది నుండి తిరిగి వచ్చాడు. పరిశుద్ధాత్మ ఆయనను అరణ్యంలోకి నడిపించాడు.
Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
2 ౨ అక్కడ నలభై రోజులు సాతాను ఆయనను విషమ పరీక్షలకు గురి చేశాడు. ఆ రోజుల్లో ఆయన ఏమీ తినలేదు. ఆ తరువాత ఆయనకు ఆకలి వేసింది.
where he was tempted by the devil for forty days. He ate nothing in those days, and afterward, when they had ended, he was hungry.
Then the devil said to him, “If yoʋ are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.”
But Jesus answered him, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’”
5 ౫ అప్పుడు సాతాను ఆయనను ఎత్తయిన కొండ మీదికి తీసుకు వెళ్ళి, ప్రపంచ రాజ్యాలన్నీ ఒక్క క్షణంలో ఆయనకు చూపించాడు.
So the devil brought him up to a high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
6 ౬ “ఈ రాజ్యాధికారమంతా వాటి వైభవాలతో పాటు నీకిస్తాను. దానిపై అధికారం నాదే. అది ఎవరికివ్వడం నా ఇష్టమో వారికిస్తాను.
Then the devil said to him, “To yoʋ I will give all this authority and glory, for it has been delivered to me, and I can give it to anyone I want.
If yoʋ, then, will worship me, it will all be yoʋrs.”
8 ౮ అయితే యేసు, “‘నీ దేవుడైన ప్రభువును పూజించి ఆయనను మాత్రమే సేవించాలి’ అని రాసి ఉంది” అని జవాబిచ్చాడు.
Jesus answered him, “Get behind me, Satan! It is written, ‘Yoʋ shall worship the Lord yoʋr God, and him only shall yoʋ serve.’”
9 ౯ ఆ తరువాత సాతాను యేసును యెరూషలేముకు తీసుకువెళ్ళి దేవాలయ గోపురంపై ఉంచి, “నీవు దేవుని కుమారుడివైతే ఇక్కడ నుండి కిందికి దూకు.
Then the devil brought him to Jerusalem, set him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to him, “If yoʋ are the Son of God, throw yoʋrself down from here,
for it is written, ‘He will command his angels concerning yoʋ, to guard yoʋ,’
11 ౧౧ నీ పాదాలకు రాయి తగలకుండా వారు నిన్ను తమ చేతుల్లో ఎత్తిపట్టుకుంటారు’ అని రాసి ఉంది గదా,” అని ఆయనతో అన్నాడు.
and, ‘In their hands they will lift yoʋ up, so that yoʋ do not strike yoʋr foot against a stone.’”
Jesus answered him, “It is said, ‘Yoʋ shall not put the Lord yoʋr God to the test.’”
13 ౧౩ సాతాను, యేసును అన్ని రకాలుగా పరీక్షించడం ముగించి మరొక అవకాశం వచ్చేవరకూ ఆయనను విడిచి వెళ్ళిపోయాడు.
And when the devil had finished all these temptations, he left him until an opportune time.
14 ౧౪ అప్పుడు యేసు పరిశుద్ధాత్మ శక్తితో గలిలయకు తిరిగి వెళ్ళిపోయాడు. ఆయనను గురించిన సమాచారం ఆ ప్రాంతమంతా వ్యాపించింది.
Then Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread throughout the entire surrounding region.
And he was teaching in their synagogues, being praised by all.
16 ౧౬ ఒక రోజు తాను పెరిగిన నజరేతుకు ఆయన వచ్చాడు. తన అలవాటు ప్రకారం విశ్రాంతి దినాన సమాజ మందిరానికి వెళ్ళి చదవడానికి నిలబడ్డాడు.
When he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, as was his custom, and stood up to read.
The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him, so he unrolled the scroll and found the place where it is written,
18 ౧౮ “ప్రభువు ఆత్మ నా మీద ఉన్నాడు. పేదలకు సువార్త ప్రకటించడానికి ఆయన నన్ను అభిషేకించాడు. చెరలో ఉన్న వారికి స్వేచ్ఛ, గుడ్డివారికి చూపు వస్తుందని ప్రకటించడానికీ అణగారిన వారిని విడిపించడానికీ,
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free the oppressed,
and to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.”
Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fixed upon him,
21 ౨౧ సమాజ మందిరంలో ఉన్న వారంతా ఆయనను తేరి చూశారు. “మీరు వింటూ ఉండగానే ఈ లేఖనం నెరవేరింది” అని ఆయన వారితో అన్నాడు.
and he began speaking to them, saying, “Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”
22 ౨౨ అందరూ ఆయనను గురించి గొప్పగా చెప్పుకున్నారు. ఆయన నోటి నుంచి వచ్చే దయాపూరితమైన మాటలకు ఆశ్చర్యపడ్డారు. “ఈయన యోసేపు కొడుకు గదా?” అని చెప్పుకున్నారు.
They were all speaking well of him and were amazed at the gracious words coming out of his mouth. They said, “Is this not Joseph's son?”
23 ౨౩ ఆయన వారితో, “వైద్యుడా, నిన్ను నీవే బాగు చేసుకో” అనే సామెత నాకు చెప్పి, కపెర్నహూములో నీవు చేసిన వాటన్నిటినీ మేము విన్నాం, వాటిని ఈ నీ సొంత ఊరులో కూడా చేయమని మీరు తప్పకుండా నాతో అంటారు” అన్నాడు.
Then Jesus said to them, “Doubtless you will quote to me this proverb: ‘Physician, heal yoʋrself.’ Do here in yoʋr hometown what we have heard that yoʋ did in Capernaum.”
He also said, “Truly I say to you, no prophet is accepted in his hometown.
25 ౨౫ ఏలీయా ప్రవక్త రోజుల్లో ఇశ్రాయేలు దేశంలో చాలామంది వితంతువులు ఉన్నారు. మూడున్నర సంవత్సరాలు ఆకాశం మూసుకుపోయి దేశమంతా తీవ్రమైన కరువు రాగా,
But in truth I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the sky was shut for three years and six months and a severe famine came over all the land,
26 ౨౬ దేవుడు ఏలీయాను ఎవరి దగ్గరకీ పంపలేదు. సీదోను ప్రాంతంలో సారెపతు అనే ఊరిలో ఉన్న ఒక వితంతువు దగ్గరకే పంపాడు.
yet Elijah was sent to none of them except a widow in Zarephath in the region of Sidon.
27 ౨౭ ఎలీషా ప్రవక్త కాలంలో ఇశ్రాయేలులో ఎందరో కుష్టురోగులున్నా, సిరియా వాడైన నయమాను తప్ప ఎవరూ బాగుపడలేదు.”
There were also many lepers in Israel in the time of the prophet Elisha, yet not one of them was cleansed except Naaman the Syrian.”
When they heard this, all the people in the synagogue were filled with rage.
29 ౨౯ ఆగ్రహంతో నిండిపోయి, లేచి ఆయనను ఊరి బయటకు తోసుకుపోయి కొండ కొమ్ము వరకూ తీసికెళ్ళారు. వారి ఊరు కొండ పైన ఉంది. ఆయనను అక్కడ నుండి పడదోయాలనుకున్నారు.
They rose up, drove him out of town, and brought him to the brow of the hill on which their town was built, to throw him down from the cliff.
But Jesus passed through the crowd and went away.
Then he went down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and on the Sabbath he began teaching the people.
They were astonished at his teaching, because his message was spoken with authority.
Now in the synagogue there was a man who had an unclean demonic spirit, and he cried out with a loud voice,
34 ౩౪ “నజరేతువాడా యేసూ, మాతో నీకేం పని? మమ్మల్ని నాశనం చేయడానికి వచ్చావా? నీవెవరో నాకు తెలుసు. నీవు దేవుని పరిశుద్ధుడివి.”
“Leave us alone! What do yoʋ have to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have yoʋ come to destroy us? I know who yoʋ are—the Holy One of God.”
35 ౩౫ యేసు, “ఊరుకో! ఇతనిలో నుండి బయటకు రా” అని దయ్యాన్ని ఆజ్ఞాపించాడు. దయ్యం అతణ్ణి వారి మధ్యలో కింద పడేసి అతనికి ఏ హానీ చేయకుండా అతనిలో నుండి బయటికి వచ్చేసింది.
But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silent and come out of him!” Then the demon threw the man down before them all and came out of him, having done him no harm.
36 ౩౬ అందరూ ఆశ్చర్య పడ్డారు. “ఇది ఎలాటి మాట, ఈయన అధికారంతో ప్రభావంతో దయ్యాలకు ఆజ్ఞాపిస్తుంటే అవి బయటికి వచ్చేస్తున్నాయి” అని ఒకరితో ఒకరు చెప్పుకున్నారు.
Amazement came over all the people, and they said to one another, “What kind of message is this? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits and they come out!”
And news about him went out to every place in the surrounding region.
38 ౩౮ ఆయన సమాజ మందిరం నుండి, సీమోను ఇంటికి వెళ్ళాడు. సీమోను అత్త తీవ్రమైన జ్వరంతో బాధపడుతూ ఉంది. ఆమెను బాగు చేయాలని వారాయన్ని బతిమిలాడారు.
Then Jesus arose, left the synagogue, and entered Simon's house. Now Simon's mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked Jesus to help her.
39 ౩౯ ఆయన ఆమె దగ్గర నిలబడి జ్వరాన్ని మందలించగానే జ్వరం ఆమెను విడిచింది. వెంటనే ఆమె లేచి వారికి సేవ చేయసాగింది.
So he stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. At once she rose and began to serve them.
40 ౪౦ పొద్దుగుంకుతున్నపుడు అనేక రకాల జబ్బులున్న వారిని యేసు దగ్గరికి తెచ్చారు. వారిలో ప్రతి ఒక్కరి మీదా ఆయన చేతులుంచి బాగు చేశాడు.
When the sun was setting, people brought to Jesus those who were sick with various diseases, and he laid his hands on each one of them and healed them.
41 ౪౧ వారిలో చాలామందిలో నుండి దయ్యాలు, “నీవు దేవుని కుమారుడివి” అని కేకలు వేస్తూ బయటికి వెళ్ళిపోయాయి. ఆయన క్రీస్తు అని వాటికి తెలుసు కాబట్టి ఆయన వాటిని గద్దించి వాటిని మాట్లాడనివ్వలేదు.
Demons also came out of many, crying out, “Yoʋ are the Christ, the Son of God.” But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ.
42 ౪౨ తెల్లవారినప్పుడు ఆయన బయలుదేరి ఒక ఏకాంత స్థలానికి వెళ్ళాడు. ప్రజలు గుంపులుగా ఆయనను వెదుకుతూ ఆయన ఉన్న చోటికి వచ్చారు. తమ దగ్గర నుండి వెళ్ళిపోకుండా ఆయనను ఆపాలని చూశారు.
When daybreak came, Jesus departed and went to a desolate place. The crowds were seeking him, and they came to him and tried to keep him from leaving them.
43 ౪౩ అయితే ఆయన, “నేనింకా చాలా ఊళ్ళలో దేవుని రాజ్య సువార్తను ప్రకటించాలి. దీని కోసమే దేవుడు నన్ను పంపాడు” అని వారితో చెప్పాడు.
But Jesus said to them, “I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns as well, for that is why I was sent.”
So he continued preaching in the synagogues of Galilee.
