యోబు~ గ్రంథము 42
Then Job answered the Lord.
2 ౨ నువ్వు సమస్త క్రియలను చేయగలవనీ నువ్వు ఉద్దేశించినది ఏదీ నిష్ఫలం కానేరదనీ నేనిప్పుడు తెలుసుకున్నాను.
“I know you can do anything. No one can prevent you doing what you want.
3 ౩ “జ్ఞానం లేని మాటలతో ఆలోచనను నిరర్థకం చేసే వీడెవడు?” అలా వివేచన లేక ఏమీ తెలియక నా బుద్ధికి మించిన సంగతులు మాట్లాడాను.
You asked, ‘Who is this who questions my wisdom by talking so ignorantly?’ I was speaking about things I didn't understand—things too wonderful for me to know.
4 ౪ నువ్వు అన్నావు. “నేను మాట్లాడాలనుకుంటున్నాను. దయచేసి నా మాట ఆలకించు. ఒక సంగతి నిన్ను అడుగుతాను. దాన్ని నాకు తెలియజెప్పు.”
You told me, ‘Listen to me, I am going to speak. I am going to question you, and you must answer me.’
Before, I had only heard about you, but now I've seen you for myself.
That is why I'm sorry for what I said, and I repent in dust and ashes.”
7 ౭ యెహోవా యోబుతో ఆ మాటలు పలికిన తరువాత ఆయన తేమానీయుడు ఎలీఫజుతో ఇలా చెప్పాడు. “నా సేవకుడైన యోబు పలికినట్టు మీరు నన్ను గూర్చి యుక్తమైనది పలకలేదు కాబట్టి నా కోపం నీ మీదా నీ ఇద్దరు స్నేహితుల మీదా మండుతున్నది.
After the Lord had finished speaking to Job he said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “I am angry with you and your two friends because you have not told the truth about me, as my servant Job did.
8 ౮ కాబట్టి ఏడు ఎద్దులను ఏడు పొట్టేళ్లను తీసుకుని, నా సేవకుడు యోబు దగ్గరికి పోయి మీ నిమిత్తం దహనబలి అర్పించాలి. అప్పుడు నా సేవకుడు యోబు మీ పక్షంగా ప్రార్థన చేస్తాడు. మీ అవివేకాన్ని బట్టి నేను మిమ్మల్ని శిక్షించకుండా నేను అతని ప్రార్థన మాత్రం అంగీకరిస్తాను. ఎందుకంటే నా సేవకుడు యోబు పలికినట్లు మీరు నన్ను గూర్చి యుక్తమైనది పలక లేదు.”
So take seven bulls and seven rams and go to my servant Job, and you shall offer a burnt offering for yourselves. My servant Job will pray on your behalf and I will accept his prayer and not deal with you according to your foolishness, because you have not told the truth about me, as my servant Job did.”
9 ౯ తేమానీయుడు ఎలీఫజు, షూహీయుడు బిల్దదు, నయమాతీయుడు జోఫరు పోయి, యెహోవా తమకు ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్టు చేశారు. యెహోవా వారి పక్షాన యోబును అంగీకరించాడు.
So Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite did what the Lord commanded them, and the Lord accepted Job's prayer.
10 ౧౦ యోబు తన స్నేహితుల నిమిత్తం ప్రార్థన చేసినప్పుడు యెహోవా అతని క్షేమ స్థితిని మళ్ళీ అతనికి దయచేశాడు. యోబుకు పూర్వం కలిగిన దానికంటే రెండంతలు అధికంగా యెహోవా అతనికి దయచేశాడు.
The Lord restored Job's prosperity when he prayed for his friends, and gave him twice as much as he had before.
11 ౧౧ అప్పుడు అతని అన్నదమ్ములు, అతని అక్క చెల్లెళ్ళు అంతకుముందు అతనికి పరిచయం ఉన్న వారంతా వచ్చి, అతనితో కలిసి అతని ఇంట్లో భోజనాలు చేశారు. యెహోవా అతని మీదికి రప్పించిన బాధలన్నిటి గూర్చి ఎంత కష్టాల పాలయ్యావు అంటూ అతని కోసం దుఃఖిస్తూ అతణ్ణి ఓదార్చారు. అంతేగాక ఒక్కొక్కడు ఒక వెండి నాణెం, బంగారు ఉంగరం అతనికి ఇచ్చారు.
Then all his brothers and sisters and friends he'd previously known came and ate with him at his home. They showed him sympathy and comforted him because of all the trouble the Lord had caused him. Each one of them gave him money and a gold ring.
12 ౧౨ యెహోవా యోబును మొదట ఆశీర్వదించినంత కంటే మరి ఎక్కువగా ఆశీర్వదించాడు. అతనికి పద్నాలుగు వేల గొర్రెలు, ఆరు వేల ఒంటెలు, వెయ్యి జతల ఎడ్లు, వెయ్యి ఆడగాడిదలు ఉన్నాయి.
The Lord blessed the last part of Job's life more than the first part. Now he owned 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 teams of oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys.
Job also had seven sons and three daughters.
14 ౧౪ అతడు పెద్ద కూతురికి ఎమీమా అనీ రెండవ కూతురికి కెజీయా అనీ మూడవ కూతురికి కెరెన్ హపుక్ అనీ పేర్లు పెట్టాడు.
Job called the first daughter Jemimah, the second Keziah, and the third Keren-Happuch.
15 ౧౫ ఆ దేశమంతటా యోబు కుమార్తెలంత లావణ్యవతులు కనబడలేదు. వారి తండ్రి వారి అన్నదమ్ములతో పాటు వారికి వారసత్వాలు ఇచ్చాడు.
Nowhere in all the land were there women as beautiful as Job's daughters, and Job gave them the same inheritance as their brothers.
Job lived 140 years after this, seeing his children, and grandchildren, in fact four generations.
Then Job died at an old age, having lived a very full life.
