యోబు~ గ్రంథము 28

1 ౧ వెండికి గని ఉంది. బంగారం పుటం వేసే స్థలం ఉంది.

Siluer hath bigynnyngis of his veynes; and a place is to gold, in which it is wellid togidere.

2 ౨ ఇనుమును భూమిలోనుండి తీస్తారు. రాళ్లు కరగించి రాగి తీస్తారు.

Irun is takun fro erthe, and a stoon resolued, `ethir meltid, bi heete, is turned in to money.

3 ౩ మనిషి చీకటిని అంతమొందిస్తాడు. సుదూర స్థలాల్లో అన్వేషిస్తాడు. గాఢాంధకారంలో అంతు తెలియని తావుల్లో విలువైన రాళ్ళను వెతుకుతాడు.

God hath set tyme to derknessis, and he biholdith the ende of alle thingis.

4 ౪ మనుషుల నివాసాలకు, మనిషి పాదాలు సంచరించే స్థలాలకు దూరంగా అతడు సొరంగం తవ్వుతాడు. అక్కడ అతడు మానవులకు దూరంగా ఇటు అటు తిరుగులాడుతుంటాడు.

Also a stronde departith a stoon of derknesse, and the schadewe of deth, fro the puple goynge in pilgrymage; it departith tho hillis, whiche the foot of a nedi man foryat, and hillis with out weie.

5 ౫ భూమి విషయానికొస్తే అందులోనుండి ఆహారం పుడుతుంది. భూగర్భం అగ్నిమయం.

The erthe, wher of breed cam forth in his place, is destried bi fier.

6 ౬ దాని రాళ్లు నీలరతనాల పుట్టిల్లు. దాని ధూళిలో బంగారం ఉంది.

The place of saphir ben stoonys therof, and the clottis therof ben gold.

7 ౭ వేటాడే ఏ పక్షికైనా ఆ దారి తెలియదు. డేగ కళ్ళు దాన్ని చూడలేదు.

A brid knewe not the weie, and the iye of a vultur, ethir rauenouse brid, bihelde it not.

8 ౮ గర్వంగా సంచరించే మృగాలు ఆ దారి తొక్కలేదు. క్రూర సింహం ఆ దారిలో నడవలేదు.

The sones of marchauntis tretiden not on it, and a lyonesse passide not therbi.

9 ౯ మనిషి చెకుముకి రాళ్ళను పట్టుకుంటాడు. పర్వతాలను వాటి కుదుళ్లతో సహా బోర్లా పడదోస్తాడు.

God stretchide forth his hond to a flynt; he distriede hillis fro the rootis.

10 ౧౦ శిలల్లో అతడు కాలువలు ఏర్పరుస్తాడు. అతని కన్ను అమూల్యమైన ప్రతి వస్తువును చూస్తుంది.

He hewide doun ryuers in stoonys; and his iye siy al precious thing.

11 ౧౧ నీళ్లు పొర్లి పోకుండా జలధారలకు ఆనకట్ట కడతాడు. అగోచరమైన వాటిని అతడు వెలుగులోకి తెస్తాడు.

And he souyte out the depthis of floodis; and he brouyte forth hid thingis in to liyt.

12 ౧౨ అయితే జ్ఞానం ఎక్కడ దొరుకుతుంది? వివేచన దొరికే స్థలం ఎక్కడ ఉంది?

But where is wisdom foundun, and which is the place of vndurstondyng?

13 ౧౩ మనిషికి దాని విలువ తెలియదు. ప్రాణులున్న దేశంలో అది దొరకదు.

A man noot the prijs therof, nether it is foundun in the lond of men lyuynge swetli, `ether delicatli.

14 ౧౪ అగాధం “అది నాలో లేదు” అంటుంది. “నా దగ్గర లేదు” అని సముద్రం అంటుంది.

The depthe of watris seith, It is not in me; and the see spekith, It is not with me.

15 ౧౫ బంగారం దానికి సాటి కాదు. దాని వెల కట్టడానికి వెండిని తూచడం పనికి రాదు.

Gold ful cleene schal not be youun for wisdom, nether siluer schal be weied in the chaungyng therof.

16 ౧౬ అది ఓఫీరు బంగారంతోగానీ ప్రశస్తమైన గోమేధికంతో, నీలంతోగానీ కొనగలిగింది కాదు.

It schal not be comparysound to the died colours of Iynde, not to the moost preciouse stoon of sardius, nether to saphir.

17 ౧౭ సువర్ణమైనా స్ఫటికమైనా దానితో సాటిరావు. ప్రశస్తమైన బంగారు నగలు ఇచ్చి దాన్ని తీసుకోలేము.

Nether gold, nether glas schal be maad euene worth therto;

18 ౧౮ పగడాల, ముత్యాల పేర్లు దాని ఎదుట అసలు ఎత్తకూడదు. నిజంగా జ్ఞానానికున్న విలువ కెంపుల కన్నా గొప్పది.

and hiye and fer apperynge vessels of gold schulen not be chaungid for wisdom, nether schulen be had in mynde in comparisoun therof. Forsothe wisdom is drawun of pryuy thingis;

19 ౧౯ కూషు దేశపు పుష్యరాగం దానికి సాటి రాదు. మేలిమి బంగారంతో దానికి వెల కట్టలేము.

topasie of Ethiope schal not be maad euene worth to wisdom, and moost preciouse diyngis schulen not be set togidere in prijs, `ether comparisound, therto.

20 ౨౦ అలాగైతే జ్ఞానం ఎక్కడనుండి వస్తుంది? వివేచన దొరికే స్థలం ఎక్కడ ఉంది?

Therfor wherof cometh wisdom, and which is the place of vndurstondyng?

21 ౨౧ అది జీవులందరి కన్నులకు కనిపించదు. ఆకాశ పక్షులకు అది అగమ్యగోచరం.

It is hid fro the iyen of alle lyuynge men; also it is hid fro briddis of heuene.

22 ౨౨ “మేము మా చెవులతో దాన్ని గురించి విన్నాము” అని నాశనం, మరణం అంటాయి.

Perdicioun and deeth seiden, With oure eeris we herden the fame therof.

23 ౨౩ దేవుడే దాని మార్గాన్ని గ్రహిస్తాడు. దాని స్థలం ఆయనకే తెలుసు.

God vndurstondith the weye therof, and he knowith the place therof.

24 ౨౪ ఆయన భూమి కొనల వరకూ చూస్తున్నాడు. ఆకాశం కింద ఉన్న దానినంతటినీ చూస్తున్నాడు.

For he biholdith the endis of the world, and biholdith alle thingis that ben vndur heuene.

25 ౨౫ గాలికి ఇంత వేగం ఉండాలని ఆయన నియమించినప్పుడు, జలరాసుల కొలత నిర్ణయించినప్పుడు,

`Which God made weiyte to wyndis, and weiede watris in mesure.

26 ౨౬ వర్షానికి అదుపాజ్ఞలు ఏర్పరచినప్పుడు, ఉరుము మెరుపులకు దోవ చూపినప్పుడు,

Whanne he settide lawe to reyn, and weie to tempestis sownynge;

27 ౨౭ ఆయన జ్ఞానాన్ని చూసి దాన్ని ప్రకటించాడు. దాన్ని స్థాపించి దాన్ని పరిశోధించాడు.

thanne he siy wisdom, and telde out, and made redi, and souyte out.

28 ౨౮ యెహోవా పట్ల భయభక్తులే జ్ఞానం, దుష్టత్వం నుండి తొలగిపోవడమే వివేకం అని ఆయన మనుషులకు చెప్పాడు.

And he seide to man, Lo! the drede of the Lord, thilke is wisdom; and to go awei fro yuel, is vndurstondyng.
