యోబు~ గ్రంథము 27

1 ౧ యోబు మాట్లాడడం మొదలు పెట్టి ఇలా అన్నాడు.

Moreover Job continued his discourse, and said:

2 ౨ నా న్యాయాన్ని తీసివేసిన దేవుని జీవం తోడు. నా ప్రాణాన్ని వ్యాకుల పరచిన సర్వశక్తుని తోడు.

As God liveth, who hath rejected my cause, And the Almighty, who hath afflicted my soul;

3 ౩ నా ప్రాణం నాలో ఉన్నంత కాలం, దేవుని ఊపిరి నా నాసికా రంధ్రాల్లో ఉన్నంత వరకు,

As long as my breath is in me, And the spirit of God is in my nostrils,

4 ౪ నిశ్చయంగా నా పెదవులు అబద్ధం పలకవు. నా నాలుక మోసం ఉచ్ఛరించదు.

Never shall my lips speak falsehood, Nor my tongue utter deceit.

5 ౫ మీరు చెప్పినది న్యాయమని నేనెంత మాత్రం ఒప్పుకోను. మరణమయ్యే దాకా నేనెంత మాత్రం యథార్థతను వదిలి పెట్టను.

God forbid that I should acknowledge you to be just: To my last breath will I assert my integrity.

6 ౬ నా నీతిని గట్టిగా పట్టుకుంటాను. నా ప్రవర్తన అంతటి విషయంలో నా హృదయం నన్ను నిందించదు.

I will hold fast my innocence, and not let it go; My heart reproacheth me for no part of my life.

7 ౭ నాకు శత్రువులు దుష్టులుగా కనబడతారు గాక. నన్నెదిరించేవారు నీతి లేని వారుగా కనబడతారు గాక.

May mine enemy be as the wicked, And he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous!

8 ౮ దేవుడు అతణ్ణి కొట్టివేసేటప్పుడు, వాడి ప్రాణం తీసేసేటప్పుడు భక్తిహీనుడికి ఆధారమేది?

For what is the hope of the wicked, when God cutteth off his web, And taketh away his life?

9 ౯ వాడికి బాధ కలిగేటప్పుడు దేవుడు వాడి మొర్ర వింటాడా?

Will he listen to his cry, When trouble cometh upon him?

10 ౧౦ వాడు సర్వశక్తుడిలో ఆనందిస్తాడా? వాడు అన్ని సమయాల్లో దేవునికి ప్రార్థన చేస్తాడా?

Can he delight himself in the Almighty, And call at all times upon God?

11 ౧౧ దేవుని హస్తాన్ని గూర్చి నేను మీకు ఉపదేశిస్తాను. సర్వశక్తుడు చేసే క్రియలను నేను దాచిపెట్టను.

I will teach you concerning the hand of God; That which is with the Almighty I will not conceal.

12 ౧౨ మీలో ప్రతివాడూ దాన్ని చూశాడు. మీరెందుకు కేవలం వ్యర్థమైన వాటిని తలపోస్తూ ఉంటారు?

Behold, ye yourselves have all seen it; Why then do ye cherish such vain thoughts?

13 ౧౩ దేవుని వలన భక్తిహీనులకు దక్కే భాగం ఇదే. బాధించేవారు సర్వశక్తుని వలన పొందే ఆస్తి ఇదే.

This is the portion of the wicked man from God, —The inheritance which oppressors receive from the Almighty.

14 ౧౪ వారి పిల్లలు సంఖ్యలో విస్తరిస్తే అది కత్తివాత కూలడానికే గదా. వారి సంతానానికి చాలినంత ఆహారం దొరకదు.

If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword; And his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.

15 ౧౫ వారికి మిగిలిన వారు తెగులు మూలంగా చచ్చి సమాధి అవుతారు. వారి వితంతువులు వారి విషయం రోదనం చెయ్యరు.

Those of them that escape shall be buried by Death, And their widows shall not bewail them.

16 ౧౬ ధూళి అంత విస్తారంగా వారు వెండిని పోగు చేసినా బంక మట్టి అంత విస్తారంగా వస్త్రాలు సిద్ధం చేసుకున్నా,

Though he heap up silver as dust, And procure raiment as clay, —

17 ౧౭ వారు అలా సిద్ధపరచుకుంటారే గానీ నీతిమంతులు వాటిని కట్టుకుంటారు. నిరపరాధులు ఆ వెండిని పంచుకుంటారు.

He may procure, but the righteous shall wear it, And the innocent shall share the silver.

18 ౧౮ వారు పురుగుల గూళ్లవంటి ఇళ్ళు కట్టుకుంటారు కావలివాడు కట్టుకునే గుడిసె లాంటి ఇళ్ళు వారు కట్టుకుంటారు.

He buildeth his house like the moth, Or like the shed which the watchman maketh.

19 ౧౯ అతడు ధనికుడుగా పడుకుంటాడు గానీ అది కొనసాగదు. అతడు కళ్ళు తెరవగానే మొత్తం పోతుంది.

The rich man lieth down, and is not buried; In the twinkling of an eye he is no more.

20 ౨౦ భయాలు జలప్రవాహంలాగా వారిని తరిమి పట్టుకుంటాయి. రాత్రివేళ తుఫాను వారిని ఎత్తుకుపోతుంది.

Terrors pursue him like a flood; A tempest stealeth him away in the night.

21 ౨౧ తూర్పు గాలి అతణ్ణి ఎగరగొడుతుంది. వాడు ఇక ఉండడు. అది అతని స్థలంలో నుండి అతణ్ణి ఊడ్చివేస్తుంది.

The east wind carrieth him away, and he perisheth; Yea, it sweepeth him away from his place.

22 ౨౨ ఆగకుండా తూర్పు గాలి అతని మీద విసిరి కొడుతుంది. వాడు దాని చేతిలోనుండి తప్పించుకోడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తాడు.

God sendeth his arrows at him, and doth not spare; He would fain escape from His hand.

23 ౨౩ అది వాణ్ణి చూసి హేళనగా చప్పట్లు కొడుతుంది. వాడున్న చోటు నుండి వాణ్ణి ఈసడింపుగా తోలివేస్తుంది.

Men clap their hands at him, And hiss him away from his place.
