యోబు~ గ్రంథము 26

1 ౧ అప్పుడు యోబు ఇలా జవాబు ఇచ్చాడు.

But Job answered and said,

2 ౨ శక్తి లేని వాడికి నువ్వు ఎంత బాగా సహాయం చేశావు! బలం లేని చేతిని ఎంత బాగా రక్షించావు!

To whom do you attach yourself, or whom are you going to assist? is it not he that [has] much strength, and [he] who has a strong arm?

3 ౩ జ్ఞానం లేని వాడికి నీ వెంత చక్కగా ఆలోచన చెప్పావు! సంగతిని ఎంత చక్కగా వివరించావు!

To whom have you given counsel? is it not to him who has all wisdom? whom will you follow? is it not one who has the greatest power?

4 ౪ నువ్వు ఎవరి ఎదుట మాటలు పలికావు? ఎవరి ఆత్మ నీలోనుండి బయలుదేరింది?

To whom have you uttered words? and whose breath is it that has come forth from you?

5 ౫ బిల్దదు ఇలా అన్నాడు. జలాల కింద నివసించే వారు, మృతులు, నీడలు వణికిపోతారు.

Shall giants be born from under the water and the inhabitants thereof?

6 ౬ దేవుని దృష్టికి పాతాళం తెరిచి ఉంది. నాశనకూపం ఆయన ఎదుట బట్టబయలుగా ఉంది. (Sheol h7585)

Hell is naked before him, and destruction has no covering. (Sheol h7585)

7 ౭ ఉత్తర దిక్కున శూన్యమండలం మీద ఆకాశ విశాలాన్ని ఆయన పరిచాడు. శూన్యంపై భూమిని వేలాడదీశాడు.

He stretches out the north wind upon nothing, and he upon nothing hangs the earth;

8 ౮ ఆయన తన కారు మేఘాల్లో నీళ్లను బంధించాడు. అయినా అవి పిగిలి పోవడం లేదు.

binding water in his clouds, and the cloud is not tore under it.

9 ౯ దాని మీద మేఘాన్ని వ్యాపింపజేసి ఆయన తన సింహాసన కాంతిని కప్పి ఉంచాడు.

He keeps back the face of his throne, stretching out his cloud upon it.

10 ౧౦ వెలుగు చీకటుల మధ్య సరిహద్దుల దాకా ఆయన జలాలకు హద్దు నియమించాడు.

He has encompassed the face of the water by an appointed ordinance, until the end of light and darkness.

11 ౧౧ ఆయన గద్దించగా ఆకాశ విశాల స్తంభాలు ఆశ్చర్యపడి అదిరిపోతాయి.

The pillars of heaven are prostrate and astonished at his rebuke.

12 ౧౨ తన బలం వలన ఆయన సముద్రాన్ని రేపుతాడు. తన వివేకం వలన రాహాబును నలగగొడతాడు.

He has calmed the sea with [his] might, and by [his] wisdom the whale has been overthrown.

13 ౧౩ ఆయన ఊపిరి వదలగా ఆకాశ విశాలాలకు అందం వస్తుంది. ఆయన హస్తం పారిపోతున్న మహా సర్పాన్ని పొడిచింది.

And the barriers of heaven fear him, and by a command he has slain the apostate dragon.

14 ౧౪ ఇవి ఆయన కార్యాల్లో స్వల్పమైనవి. ఆయన్ను గూర్చి మనకు వినబడుతున్నది ఎంతో మెల్లనైన గుసగుస శబ్దం పాటిదే గదా. గర్జనలు చేసే ఆయన మహాబలం ఎంతో గ్రహించగలవాడెవడు?

Behold, these are parts of his way; and we will listen to him at the least intimation of his word: but the strength of his thunder who knows, when he shall employ [it]?
