యోబు~ గ్రంథము 11

1 ౧ అప్పుడు నయమాతీయుడు జోఫరు ఇలా జవాబు ఇచ్చాడు,

Then responded Zophar the Naamathite, and said: —

2 ౨ ప్రవాహంలాగా బయటకు వస్తున్న నీ మాటలకు జవాబు చెప్పాలి గదా. వదరుబోతును నిర్దోషి అని ఎంచడం జరుగుతుందా?

Should, the multitude of words, not be answered? Or should, a man full of talk, be justified?

3 ౩ నీ పొగరుబోతు మాటలు విని మనుషులు ఎదురు చెప్పకుండా మౌనంగా ఉండాలా? నీ మాటలను బట్టి ఎవ్వరూ నిన్ను మందలించకూడదా?

Shall, thy pratings, cause men to hold their peace? When thou hast mocked, shall there be none to put thee to shame?

4 ౪ నువ్వు దేవునితో “నేను అనుసరించేది సక్రమం, నీ దృష్టిలో నేను పవిత్రంగా ఉన్నాను” అంటున్నావు గదా.

Since thou hast said, Right is my doctrine, and pure am I in his eyes.

5 ౫ నువ్వు దేవునితో మాట్లాడితే మంచిది. ఆయనే నీతో వాదులాటకు దిగితే బాగుంటుంది.

But, in very deed, oh that GOD would speak, that he would open his lips with thee:

6 ౬ ఆయనే నీకు జ్ఞాన రహస్యాలు తెలియజేయాలి. ఆయన జ్ఞాన పూర్ణుడు. నువ్వు చేసిన దోషాలకు తగినదాని కంటే తక్కువ సంజాయిషీయే దేవుడు నీ నుండి కోరుతున్నాడని తెలుసుకో.

That he would declare to thee the secrets of wisdom, for they are double to that which actually is, —Know then that GOD could bring into forgetfulness for thee, a portion of thine iniquity.

7 ౭ దేవుని నిగూఢ సత్యాలు నువ్వు తెలుసుకోగలవా? సర్వశక్తుడైన దేవుణ్ణి గూర్చిన పరిపూర్ణ జ్ఞానం నీకు ఉంటుందా?

The hidden depth of GOD canst thou discover? Or, unto the furthest limit of the Almighty, canst thou attain?

8 ౮ నువ్వు ఏమి చేయగలవు? అది ఆకాశ విశాలం కంటే ఉన్నతమైనది. నీకేం తెలుసు? అది పాతాళంకంటే లోతుగా ఉన్నది. (Sheol h7585)

The heights of the heavens, what canst thou do? Depths deeper than hades, what canst thou know? (Sheol h7585)

9 ౯ దాని కొలత భూమికంటే పొడవు, దాని వెడల్పు సముద్రంకన్నా విశాలం.

Longer than the earth, is the measure thereof, and broader than the sea.

10 ౧౦ ఆయన సంచారం చేస్తూ ఒకణ్ణి బంధించి, తీర్పులో విచారణ జరిగిస్తే ఆయనకు ఎదురు చెప్పగలిగేవాడు ఎవరు?

If he sweep on, or shut up, or call together, Who then shall hinder him?

11 ౧౧ పనికిమాలిన వాళ్ళు ఎవరో ఆయనకు తెలుసు. ఎక్కడ పాపం జరుగుతుందో ఆయన ఇట్టే కనిపెట్టగలడు.

For, he, knoweth men of falsity, and seeth iniquity, and him that doth not diligently consider.

12 ౧౨ అయితే అడవి గాడిదపిల్ల మనిషిగా పుట్టగలిగితే బుద్ధిహీనుడు తెలివిగలవాడు కావచ్చు.

But, an empty person, will get sense, when, a wild ass’s colt, is born a man!

13 ౧౩ నువ్వు నీ హృదయాన్ని సవ్యంగా ఉంచుకో. నీ చేతులు ఆయన వైపు చాపు.

If, thou, hast prepared thy heart, and wilt spread forth, unto him, thy hands—

14 ౧౪ నీ చేతిలో చెడుతనం ఉందని గ్రహించి దాన్ని విడిచిపెట్టు. నీ గుడారంలో ఉన్న అక్రమాన్ని పూర్తిగా తొలగించు.

If, iniquity, be in thy hand, Put it far away, and let there not dwell in thy tents perversity,

15 ౧౫ అలా చేస్తే నువ్వు తప్పకుండా ఎలాంటి కళంకం లేనివాడవై నిర్భయంగా, స్థిరంగా, సంతోషంగా ఉంటావు.

Surely, then, shalt thou lift up thy face free from blemish, and shalt be established, and not fear.

16 ౧౬ తప్పకుండా నువ్వు నీ గడ్డుకాలాన్ని మరచిపోతావు. ప్రవహిస్తూ దాటిపోయిన నీటిని గుర్తు పెట్టుకున్నట్టు నువ్వు దాన్ని గుర్తు చేసుకుంటావు.

For, now, shalt thou forget, sorrow, Like waters passed away, shalt thou remember it.

17 ౧౭ అప్పుడు నీ జీవితం మధ్యాహ్నం ఉండే ఎండ కంటే ఎక్కువగా ప్రకాశిస్తుంది. చీకటి ఆవరించినా అది సూర్యోదయపు వెలుగులాగా కనిపిస్తుంది.

Above high noon, shall rise life’s continuance, Darkness, like a morning, shall appear,

18 ౧౮ నీ నమ్మకానికి ఒక ఆధారం దొరుకుతుంది. కనుక నువ్వు ధైర్యంగా ఉంటావు. నీ ఇల్లు మొత్తం కలయజూసి క్షేమంగా విశ్రాంతి తీసుకుంటావు.

And thou shalt he confident, that there is hope, and, when thou hast searched, securely shalt thou lie down;

19 ౧౯ ఎవరి భయమూ లేకుండా నువ్వు నిద్రపోతావు. అనేకమంది నీ సహాయం కోరుకుంటారు.

And shalt rest, with none to put thee in terror, —and many shall entreat thy favour.

20 ౨౦ దుర్మార్గుల కంటిచూపు మందగిస్తుంది. వాళ్లకు ఎలాంటి ఆశ్రయమూ దొరకదు. తమ ప్రాణాలు ఎప్పుడు పోతాయా అని వాళ్ళు ఎదురు చూస్తూ ఉంటారు.

But, the eyes of the lawless, shall fail, —and, place of refuge, shall have vanished from them, and, their hope, be a breathing out of life.
