యెషయా~ గ్రంథము 13
The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.
2 ౨ చెట్లు లేని కొండ మీద గుర్తు కోసం ఒక జెండా పాతండి. ప్రజలు ప్రధానుల ద్వారాల్లో ప్రవేశించమని కేకపెట్టి వాళ్ళను పిలిచి, చెయ్యి ఊపి సైగ చెయ్యండి.
Set ye up an ensign upon the high mountain, lift up the voice unto them, wave the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.
3 ౩ నాకు ప్రతిష్ఠితులైన వాళ్లకు నేను ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చాను. నా కోపం అమలు చెయ్యమని నా శూరులను పిలిచాను. నా ప్రభావాన్నిబట్టి ఆనందించే వాళ్ళను పిలిపించాను.
I have commanded My consecrated ones, yea, I have called My mighty ones for mine anger, even My proudly exulting ones.
4 ౪ కొండల్లో ఒక పెద్ద జనసమూహం ఉన్నట్టు వినిపిస్తున్న ఆ శబ్దం వినండి. సమకూడుతున్న రాజ్యాల ప్రజలు చేసే అల్లరి శబ్దం వినండి. సైన్యాలకు అధిపతి అయిన యెహోవా యుద్ధం కోసం తన సైన్యాన్ని సిద్ధం చేస్తున్నాడు.
Hark, a tumult in the mountains, like as of a great people! Hark, the uproar of the kingdoms of the nations gathered together! The LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.
5 ౫ సర్వలోకాన్ని పాడు చెయ్యడానికి దూర దేశం నుంచీ, ఆకాశపు అంచుల నుంచీ యెహోవా, ఆయన తీర్పు అమలు చేసే సాధనాలు వస్తున్నారు.
They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of His indignation, to destroy the whole earth.
6 ౬ బిగ్గరగా అరవండి, ఎందుకంటే, యెహోవా దినం దగ్గరపడింది. అది సర్వశక్తుడైన దేవుని దగ్గర నుండి విధ్వంసం తెస్తుంది.
Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; as destruction from the Almighty shall it come.
Therefore shall all hands be slack, and every heart of man shall melt.
8 ౮ ప్రజలు భయభ్రాంతులౌతారు. పురిటినొప్పులు పడే స్త్రీలాగా వాళ్లకు వేదనలు, దుఃఖాలు కలుగుతాయి. ఒకరినొకరు విస్తుపోయి చూసుకుంటారు. వాళ్ళ ముఖాలు మండిపోతూ ఉంటాయి.
And they shall be affrighted; pangs and throes shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman in travail; they shall look aghast one at another; their faces shall be faces of flame.
9 ౯ యెహోవా దినం వస్తోంది. దేశాన్ని పాడు చెయ్యడానికీ, పాపులు దానిలో ఉండకుండా పూర్తిగా నాశనం చెయ్యడానికీ క్రూరమైన ఉగ్రతతో, ప్రచండమైన కోపంతో అది వస్తోంది.
Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel, and full of wrath and fierce anger; to make the earth a desolation, and to destroy the sinners thereof out of it,
10 ౧౦ ఆకాశ నక్షత్రాలు, నక్షత్రరాసులు తమ వెలుగును ఇయ్యవు. ఉదయం నుంచే సూర్యుణ్ణి చీకటి కమ్ముతుంది. చంద్రుడు ప్రకాశించడు.
For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light; the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
11 ౧౧ చెడుతనాన్ని బట్టి ఈ లోకాన్నీ, తమ దోషాన్ని బట్టి దుష్టులనూ శిక్షిస్తాను. గర్విష్టుల అహంకారం అంతమొందిస్తాను. క్రూరుల అహంకారం అణిచివేస్తాను.
And I will visit upon the world their evil, and upon the wicked their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the tyrants.
I will make man more rare than fine gold, even man than the pure gold of Ophir.
13 ౧౩ సైన్యాలకు అధిపతి అయిన యెహోవా కోపాగ్ని కురిసే రోజున, ఆయన ఉగ్రతకు ఆకాశం వణికేలా, భూమి తన స్థానం తప్పేలా నేను చేస్తాను.
Therefore I will make the heavens to tremble, and the earth shall be shaken out of her place, for the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and for the day of His fierce anger.
14 ౧౪ అప్పుడు వేటకు గురైన జింకలాగా, పోగుచెయ్యని గొర్రెల్లాగా ప్రజలు తమ తమ స్వజాతి వైపు తిరుగుతారు. తమ స్వదేశాలకు పారిపోతారు.
And it shall come to pass, that as the chased gazelle, and as sheep that no man gathereth, they shall turn every man to his own people, and shall flee every man to his own land.
Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is caught shall fall by the sword.
16 ౧౬ వాళ్ళు చూస్తూ ఉండగా వాళ్ళ పసిపిల్లలను విసిరి కొట్టినప్పుడు ముక్కలౌతారు. వాళ్ళ ఇళ్ళు దోపిడీ అవుతాయి. వాళ్ళ భార్యలు అత్యాచారానికి గురౌతారు.
Their babes also shall be dashed in pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.
17 ౧౭ చూడు, వాళ్ళ మీద దాడి చెయ్యడానికి నేను మాదీయులను రేపడానికి సిద్ధంగా ఉన్నాను. వాళ్ళు వెండిని పట్టించుకోరు. బంగారం కూడా వాళ్ళకు ఆనందం కలిగించదు.
Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, who shall not regard silver, and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.
18 ౧౮ వాళ్ళ బాణాలు యువకులను చీలుస్తాయి. దూసుకుపోతాయి. వాళ్ళు పిల్లలను విడిచిపెట్టరు, పసిపిల్లల మీద దయ చూపించరు.
And their bows shall dash the young men in pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children.
19 ౧౯ అప్పుడు రాజ్యాల్లో గొప్పదిగా, కల్దీయుల శోభకూ, అతిశయానికీ కారణమైన బబులోను, దేవుడు పాడుచేసిన సొదొమ గొమొర్రాల్లాగా అవుతుంది.
And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldeans' pride, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.
20 ౨౦ అది ఇంకెన్నడూ నివాసస్థలంగా ఉండదు. తరతరాల్లో ఇంక దానిలో ఎవడూ కాపురం ఉండడు. అరబీయుడు అక్కడ తన గుడారం వెయ్యడు. గొర్రెల కాపరులు తమ మందలను అక్కడ విశ్రాంతి తీసుకోనివ్వరు.
It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation; neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there.
21 ౨౧ ఎడారి మృగాలు అక్కడ ఉంటాయి. వాళ్ళ ఇళ్ళ నిండా గుడ్లగూబలు, నిప్పుకోళ్ళూ ఉంటాయి. కొండమేకలు అక్కడ గంతులు వేస్తాయి.
But wild-cats shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of ferrets; and ostriches shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there.
22 ౨౨ వాళ్ళ కోటల్లో అడవి కుక్కలూ, వాళ్ళ అందమైన రాజమందిరాల్లో నక్కలూ అరుస్తాయి. దాని కాలం దగ్గరపడింది. దాని రోజులు ఇక ఆలస్యం కావు.
And jackals shall howl in their castles, and wild-dogs in the pleasant palaces; and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.
