హొషేయ 9
1 ౧ ఇశ్రాయేలూ, అన్యప్రజలు సంతోషించేలా నీవు సంతోషించవద్దు. నీవు నీ దేవుణ్ణి విసర్జించి నమ్మక ద్రోహం చేశావు. నీ కళ్ళాలన్నిటి మీద ఉన్న ధాన్యాన్ని బట్టి నీవు వేశ్యకిచ్చే మామూలు కోరావు.
Do not choose to rejoice, Israel; do not celebrate as the crowds do. For you have been committing fornication against your God; you have loved a prize upon every threshing floor of wheat.
The threshing floor and the oil press will not feed them, and the wine will deceive them.
3 ౩ వారు యెహోవా దేశంలో కొనసాగరు. ఎఫ్రాయిమీయులు ఐగుప్తుకు తిరిగి వెళ్ళిపోతారు. అష్షూరు దేశంలో వారు అపవిత్రమైన వాటిని తింటారు.
They will not dwell in the land of the Lord. Ephraim has been returned to Egypt, and he has eaten polluted things among the Assyrians.
4 ౪ యెహోవాకు ద్రాక్షారస పానార్పణం అర్పించరు. వారు అర్పించేవి ఆయనకి ఇష్టం లేదు. వారు ఆహారంగా పుచ్చుకొనేది ప్రలాపం చేసేవారి ఆహారం వలే ఉంటుంది. దాన్ని తినే వారంతా అపవిత్రులైపోతారు. వారి ఆహారం వారికే సరిపోతుంది. అది యెహోవా మందిరంలోకి రాదు.
They will not offer a libation of wine to the Lord, and they will not please him. Their sacrifices will be like the bread of mourners. All those who eat it will be defiled. For their bread is of their soul; it will not enter into the house of the Lord.
What will you do on the solemn day, on the day of the feast of the Lord?
6 ౬ చూడండి, వారు నాశనం తప్పించుకుంటే. ఐగుప్తుదేశం వారికి పోగయ్యే స్థలంగా ఉంటుంది. మెంఫిస్ పట్టణం వారికి శ్మశాన భూమిగా ఉంటుంది. వారి అపురూపమైన వెండివస్తువులను దురదగొండి మొక్కలు ఆవరిస్తాయి. ముండ్లకంప వారి నివాస స్థలంలో పెరుగుతుంది.
For, behold, they have been sent away by devastation. Egypt will gather them together; Memphis will bury them. Nettles will inherit their desired silver; the burr will be in their tabernacles.
7 ౭ శిక్షా దినాలు వచ్చేస్తున్నాయి. ప్రతికార దినాలు వచ్చేశాయి. “ప్రవక్తలు బుద్ధిలేని వారు, ఆత్మ మూలంగా పలికే వారు వెర్రివారు.” ప్రజల విస్తార దోషం, వారు చూపిన తీవ్ర శత్రుత్వం మూలంగా ఇశ్రాయేలువారు ఇది తెలుసుకుంటారు.
The days of visitation have arrived; the days of retribution are here. Know this, Israel: that the prophet was foolish, the spiritual man was mad, because of the multitude of your iniquities and the great extent of your foolishness.
8 ౮ నా దేవుని దగ్గర ఉండే ప్రవక్త ఎఫ్రాయిముకు కావలివాడు. వారి దారులన్నిటిలో పక్షులకు పన్నే వలలు ఉన్నాయి. దేవుని మందిరంలో వారి పట్ల శత్రుత్వం ఉంది.
The watcher of Ephraim was with my God. The prophet has become a snare of ruin over all his ways; insanity is in the house of his God.
9 ౯ గిబియా రోజుల్లో లాగా వాళ్ళు చాలా దుర్మార్గులై పోయారు. యెహోవా వారి దోషాన్ని జ్ఞాపకం చేసుకుంటున్నాడు. వారి పాపాలకై ఆయన వారికి శిక్ష విధిస్తాడు.
They have sinned profoundly, just as in the days of Gibeah. He will remember their iniquity, and he will repay their sin.
10 ౧౦ యెహోవా ఇలా అంటున్నాడు. “అరణ్యంలో ద్రాక్షపండ్లు దొరికినట్టు ఇశ్రాయేలువారు నాకు దొరికారు. వసంత కాలంలో అంజూరపు చెట్టు మీద తొలి ఫలం దొరికినట్లు మీ పితరులు నాకు దొరికారు. అయితే వారు బయల్పెయోరు దగ్గరికి పోయారు. ఆ లజ్జాకరమైన దేవుడికి తమను అప్పగించుకున్నారు. తాము మోహించిన విగ్రహాల్లాగానే వారు కూడా అసహ్యులయ్యారు.”
I discovered Israel like grapes in the desert. Like the first fruits of the fig tree, I saw their fathers on the end of its branches. But they went in to Baal-peor, and they have been estranged by intermingling, and they have become abominable, just like the things that they chose to love.
11 ౧౧ ఎఫ్రాయిము విషయానికొస్తే వారి కీర్తి పక్షిలాగా ఎగిరిపోతుంది. ప్రసవమైనా, గర్భవతులుగా ఉండడం అయినా, గర్భం ధరించడమైనా వారికి ఉండదు.
Ephraim has chased away their glory like a bird: from birth, and from the womb, and from conception.
12 ౧౨ వారు తమ పిల్లలను పెంచినా. వారికి ఎవరూ మిగల కుండా తీసేస్తాను. నేను వారి నుండి ముఖం తిప్పుకున్నప్పుడు అయ్యో, వారికి బాధ!
And even if they should nurture their sons, I will make them without children among men. Yes, and woe to them, when I have withdrawn from them.
13 ౧౩ లోయలో నాటిన తూరు పట్టణం లాగా ఉండడానికి. నేను ఎఫ్రాయిమును ఏర్పరచుకున్నాను. అయితే ఊచకోత కోసేవారి పాలు చెయ్యడానికి అది తన పిల్లలను బయటికి తీసుకు వస్తుంది.
Ephraim, as I see it, was a Tyre, founded by beauty. And Ephraim will lead his sons to execution.
14 ౧౪ యెహోవా, వారికి ప్రతీకారం చెయ్యి. వారికి నీవేమి ప్రతీకారం చేస్తావు? వారి స్త్రీలకు గర్భస్రావమయ్యే గర్భసంచులను, పాలు లేని స్తనాలను ఇవ్వు.
Give them, O Lord. What will you give them? Give them a womb without children, and dry breasts.
15 ౧౫ గిల్గాలులో వారు చేసిన పాపం మూలంగా. అక్కడే నేను వారికి విరోధినయ్యాను. వారి దుష్టక్రియలను బట్టి వారిని ఇక నా మందిరంలోనుండి తోలి వేస్తాను. వారిని ఇక మీదట ప్రేమించను. వారి అధికారులంతా తిరుగుబాటు చేసేవారు.
All their wickedness is in Gilgal, for I held them there, in their hatred. Because of the malice of their inventions, I will expel them from my house. I will no longer say that I love them; all their leaders have retreated.
16 ౧౬ ఎఫ్రాయిము రోగి అయ్యాడు. వారి వేరు ఎండిపోయింది. వారు ఫలించరు. వారు పిల్లలను కన్నప్పటికీ వారి ముద్దు బిడ్డలను నాశనం చేస్తాను.
Ephraim has been struck; their root has been dried out: by no means will they yield fruit. And even if they should conceive, I will execute the most beloved of their womb.
17 ౧౭ వారు నా దేవుని మాట వినలేదు గనక ఆయన వారిని విసర్జించాడు. వారు దేశం విడిచి అన్యజనుల్లో దేశదిమ్మరులౌతారు.
My God will cast them aside because they have not listened to him; and they will be wanderers among the nations.
