యెహెజ్కేలు 13
And the word of YHWH came unto me, saying,
2 ౨ “నరపుత్రుడా, ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజల మధ్య ప్రవచనం చెప్తున్న ప్రవక్తలకు విరోధంగా ప్రవచించు. తమ సొంత ఆలోచనలను ప్రవచనాలుగా చెప్తున్న వాళ్ళకి ఇలా చెప్పు. యెహోవా మాట వినండి!
Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of YHWH;
3 ౩ ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఇలా చెప్తున్నాడు. దర్శనం ఏదీ చూడకుండా సొంత ఆలోచనలను అనుసరించే తెలివి తక్కువ ప్రవక్తలకు బాధ!
Thus saith the Sovereign YHWH; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.
5 ౫ యెహోవా దినాన జరిగే యుద్ధంలో ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలు శత్రువును ఎదిరించడానికి మీరు గోడల్లో ఉన్న పగుళ్ళ జోలికి వెళ్ళరు. ప్రాకారానికి మరమ్మత్తులు చేయరు.
Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of YHWH.
6 ౬ ‘యెహోవా ఇలా చెప్తున్నాడు’ అని చెప్పే వాళ్ళు అబద్ధపు దర్శనాలు చూసి అబద్ధపు జోస్యాలు చెప్తారు. యెహోవా వాళ్ళని పంపలేదు. అయినా తమ సందేశం జరుగుతుంది అని ప్రజలు ఆశ పడేలా చేస్తారు.
They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, YHWH saith: and YHWH hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word.
7 ౭ నేను అసలేమీ మాట్లాడకుండానే ‘యెహోవా చెప్పేది ఇదీ, అదీ’ అంటూ చెప్పే మీరు అబద్ధపు దర్శనాలు చూడలేదా? అబద్ధపు జోస్యాలు చెప్పలేదా?
Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, YHWH saith it; albeit I have not spoken?
8 ౮ కాబట్టి ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఇలా చెప్తున్నాడు. మీరు అబద్ధపు దర్శనాలు చూసి అబద్ధాలు చెప్తున్నారు కాబట్టి ప్రభువైన యెహోవా మీకు విరోధంగా చేస్తున్న ప్రకటన ఇదే,
Therefore thus saith the Sovereign YHWH; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Sovereign YHWH.
9 ౯ అబద్ధపు దర్శనాలు చూస్తూ జోస్యం చెప్తున్న ప్రవక్తలకి నేను వ్యతిరేకిని. నా ప్రజల సభలోకి వాళ్ళని రానివ్వను. ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజల్లో వాళ్ళను నమోదు చేయను. వాళ్ళు ఇశ్రాయేలు దేశానికి వెళ్ళడానికి వీల్లేదు. అలా జరిగినప్పుడు నేనే యెహోవాను, అని మీరు తెలుసుకుంటారు.
And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Sovereign YHWH.
10 ౧౦ శాంతి లేకుండానే ‘శాంతి’ అని ప్రవచిస్తూ నా ప్రజలను వాళ్ళు తప్పుదారి పట్టిస్తున్నారు. ఈ విధంగా వాళ్ళు ఒక గోడ కట్టి దానిపై సున్నం పూస్తున్నారు
Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter:
11 ౧౧ గోడకి సున్నం వేస్తున్న వాళ్ళకి ఇలా చెప్పు. ఇది కూలిపోతుంది. జడివాన కురుస్తుంది. దీన్ని పడగొట్టడానికి నేను పిడుగులు పంపిస్తాను. పడిన గోడను చిన్నాభిన్నం చేయడానికి గాలి తుఫానుని పంపుతాను.
Say unto them which daub it with untempered morter, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it.
Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?
13 ౧౩ కాబట్టి ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఇలా చెప్తున్నాడు. “నా క్రోధంలో నుండి గాలి తుఫాను, నా గొప్ప కోపంలో నుండి కుంభవృష్టిగా వర్షాలూ రప్పిస్తాను! నా క్రోధం వల్ల పడిన వడగళ్ళు ఆ గోడను సమూలంగా ధ్వంసం చేస్తాయి.
Therefore thus saith the Sovereign YHWH; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.
14 ౧౪ మీరు సున్నం వేసిన గోడను పునాదులు కనపడేలా నేలమట్టం చేస్తాను. అది పడిపోతుంది. దాని కింద మీరూ నిర్మూలం అవుతారు. అప్పుడు నేనే యెహోవాను అని మీరు తెలుసుకుంటారు.
So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am YHWH.
15 ౧౫ ఈ విధంగా నేను మహా కోపంతో ఆ గోడనూ, దానికి సున్నం వేసిన వాళ్ళనీ నిర్మూలం చేస్తాను. అప్పుడు మీతో నేను ‘గోడ ఇక లేదు. అలాగే దానికి సున్నం వేసిన వాళ్ళు కూడా లేరు’ అని చెప్తాను.
Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered morter, and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it;
16 ౧౬ సున్నం వేసిన వాళ్ళు ఎవరంటే యెరూషలేముకి శాంతి లేకున్నా యెరూషలేముకి శాంతి కలుగుతుందని దర్శనాలు చూసిన ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజల ప్రవక్తలే. ఇదే ప్రభువైన యెహోవా పలికిన మాట.”
To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Sovereign YHWH.
17 ౧౭ నరపుత్రుడా, తమ సొంత ఆలోచనల ప్రకారం ప్రవచనం పలికే ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజల కూతుళ్ళకు విరోధంగా ప్రవచించు.
Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them,
18 ౧౮ ఇలా చెప్పు. ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఇలా చెప్తున్నాడు. ప్రజలను ఉచ్చులోకి లాగేందుకు తమ చేతుల నిండా తాయెత్తులు కట్టుకుని తమ తలలపై రకరకాల ముసుగులు వేసుకునే స్త్రీలకు బాధ. నా ప్రజల ప్రాణాలను ఉచ్చులోకి లాగుతూ మీ ప్రాణాలను కాపాడుకోగలరా?
And say, Thus saith the Sovereign YHWH; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?
19 ౧౯ చారెడు బార్లీ గింజలకీ కొన్ని రొట్టె ముక్కలకీ ఆశపడి ప్రజల్లో నా పేరును అవమానపరిచారు. అబద్ధాలు వినే నా ప్రజలకు అబద్ధాలు చెప్తూ వాళ్ళు నిర్దోషులను చంపేలా, చావడానికి అర్హులైన వాళ్ళను విడిచిపెట్టేలా చేశారు.
And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?
20 ౨౦ కాబట్టి ప్రభువైన యెహోవా ఇలా చెప్తున్నాడు. పక్షులకు వల విసిరినట్టుగా ప్రజల ప్రాణాలకు ఉచ్చు వేయడానికి మీరు ఉపయోగించే తాయెత్తులకి నేను వ్యతిరేకం. వాటిని మీ చేతులనుండి నేను కచ్చితంగా తెంపి వేస్తాను. పక్షులను పట్టినట్టు మీరు వల వేసి పట్టిన ప్రజలను నేను విడిపిస్తాను.
Wherefore thus saith the Sovereign YHWH; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.
21 ౨౧ వాళ్ళు ఇకపై మీ చేతుల్లో బందీలుగా ఉండకుండాా నేను మీ ముసుగులను చింపి వాళ్ళని విడిపిస్తాను. అప్పుడు నేనే యెహోవాను అని మీరు తెలుసుకుంటారు.
Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am YHWH.
22 ౨౨ నీతిగల వ్యక్తి నిరుత్సాహపడాలని నేను కోరుకోను. కానీ మీరు మీ అబద్దాల చేత నీతిగల వ్యక్తులను నిరుత్సాహపరిచారు. దుర్మార్గుడు తన పాపం వదిలేసి తన ప్రాణాన్ని కాపాడుకోకుండా మీరు వాడి దుర్మార్గతను ప్రోత్సహించారు.
Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:
23 ౨౩ కాబట్టి మీరు ఇకనుండి అబద్ధపు దర్శనాలు చూడరు. జోస్యాలూ చెప్పరు. నా ప్రజలను నేను మీ స్వాధీనం నుండి విడిపిస్తాను. అప్పుడు నేను యెహోవాను అని మీరు తెలుసుకుంటారు.
Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am YHWH.
