சகரியா 8
And the word of Jehovah of hosts came to me, saying,
2 ௨ நான் சீயோனுக்காக கடும் வைராக்கியங்கொண்டேன்; அதற்காக மகா உக்கிரமான வைராக்கியங்கொண்டேன் என்று சேனைகளின் யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறார்.
Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: I have been jealous for Zion with great jealousy, And with great wrath have I been jealous for her.
3 ௩ நான் சீயோனிடத்தில் திரும்பி, எருசலேமின் நடுவிலே வாசம்செய்வேன்; எருசலேம் சத்திய நகரம் என்றும், சேனைகளுடைய யெகோவாவின் மலை பரிசுத்த மலை என்றும் அழைக்கப்படும் என்று யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறார்.
Thus saith Jehovah: I have returned to Zion, And I will dwell in Jerusalem; And Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth, And the mountain of Jehovah of hosts the holy mountain.
4 ௪ திரும்பவும் எருசலேமின் வீதிகளில் முதிர்வயதினாலே தங்கள் கைகளில் கோலைப்பிடித்து நடக்கிற வயதான ஆண்களும் பெண்களும் குடியிருப்பார்கள்.
Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: There shall yet old men and old women dwell In the streets of Jerusalem, Every one with his staff in his hand for great age.
5 ௫ நகரத்தின் தெருக்களிலே விளையாடுகிற ஆண்பிள்ளைகளும் பெண்பிள்ளைகளும் அதின் வீதிகளில் நிறைந்திருக்கும் என்று சேனைகளின் யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறார்.
And the streets of the city shall be full Of boys and girls playing in her streets.
6 ௬ சேனைகளின் யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: அது இந்த மக்களில் மீதியானவர்களின் பார்வைக்கு இந்நாட்களில் ஆச்சரியமாயிருந்தாலும், என் பார்வைக்கும் ஆச்சரியமாயிருக்குமோ என்று சேனைகளின் யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறார்.
Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: If it be difficult in the eyes Of the residue of this people in these days, Is it therefore difficult in my eyes, Saith Jehovah of hosts?
Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Behold, I will save my people From the land of the rising, and from the land of the setting sun.
8 ௮ அவர்களை அழைத்துக்கொண்டு வருவேன்; அவர்கள் எருசலேமின் நடுவிலே குடியிருப்பார்கள்; அவர்கள் எனக்கு உண்மையும் நீதியுமான மக்களாயிருப்பார்கள், நான் அவர்களுக்கு தேவனாயிருப்பேன் என்று சேனைகளின் யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறார்.
And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in Jerusalem; And they shall be my people, And I will be their God, In truth and in righteousness.
9 ௯ சேனைகளுடைய யெகோவாவின் வீடாகிய ஆலயம் கட்டப்படும்படிக்கு அதின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் போடப்பட்ட நாள்முதற்கொண்டிருக்கிற தீர்க்கதரிசிகளின் வாயினால் இந்த வார்த்தைகளை இந்நாட்களில் கேட்டுவருகிறவர்களே, உங்கள் கைகள் திடப்படக்கடவது என்று சேனைகளின் யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறார்.
Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Let your hands be strong, Ye that hear in these days These words by the mouth of the prophets, Who were in the day when the foundation of the house of Jehovah of hosts was laid, The temple, that it might be built.
10 ௧0 இந்நாட்களுக்கு முன்னே மனிதனுடைய வேலையால் பலனுமில்லை, மிருகஜீவனுடைய வேலையால் பலனுமில்லை; போகிறவனுக்கும் வருகிறவனுக்கும் நெருக்கடியினிமித்தம் சமாதானமுமில்லை; எல்லா மனிதர்களையும் ஒருவரையொருவர் விரோதிக்கச்செய்தேன்.
For before these days There was no recompense for men, Nor was there any recompense for beasts; Nor to him that went out, nor to him that came in, was there security from the enemy; For I set all men one against another.
11 ௧௧ இப்போதோ இந்த மக்களில் மீதியானவர்களுக்கு நான் முந்தின நாட்களில் இருந்ததுபோல இருக்கமாட்டேன் என்று சேனைகளின் யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறார்.
But now I will not be as in former days Toward the residue of this people, Saith Jehovah of hosts.
12 ௧௨ விதைப்பு சமாதானமுள்ளதாயிருக்கும்; திராட்சைச்செடி தன் கனியைத் தரும்; பூமி தன் பலனைத் தரும்; வானம் தன் பனியைத் தரும்; இந்த மக்களில் மீதியானவர்கள் இதையெல்லாம் சொந்தமாக்கிக்கொள்ள கட்டளையிடுவேன்.
For the seed shall be prosperous; The vine shall yield its fruit, And the earth shall yield her increase, And the heavens shall yield their dew; And I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these.
13 ௧௩ சம்பவிப்பதென்னவென்றால்: யூதா வம்சத்தாரே, இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாரே, நீங்கள் புறஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே சாபமாயிருந்ததுபோலவே, ஆசீர்வாதமாயிருப்பதற்காக நான் உங்களைக் காப்பாற்றுவேன்; பயப்படாதேயுங்கள், உங்கள் கைகள் திடப்படக்கடவது.
And it shall be, that as ye were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, So will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing. Fear not; let your hands be strong!
14 ௧௪ சேனைகளின் யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: உங்கள் முன்னோர்கள் எனக்குக் கோபமூட்டினபோது நான் உங்களைத் தண்டிக்க நினைத்து, மனம் மாறாமல் இருந்ததுபோல,
For thus saith Jehovah of hosts: As I thought to do you evil, When your fathers provoked me to anger, Saith Jehovah of hosts, And I repented not,
15 ௧௫ இந்நாட்களில் எருசலேமிற்கும் யூதாவிற்கும் நன்மைசெய்யும்படித் திரும்ப நினைத்தேன்; பயப்படாதேயுங்கள்.
So have I again thought in these days To do good to Jerusalem, And to the house of Judah. Fear ye not!
16 ௧௬ நீங்கள் செய்யவேண்டிய காரியங்கள் என்னவென்றால்: அவனவன் பிறனுடன் உண்மையைப் பேசுங்கள்; உங்கள் வாசல்களில் சத்தியத்திற்கும் சமாதானத்திற்கும் ஏற்றபடி நியாயந்தீருங்கள்.
These are the things which ye shall do: Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbor; Judge according to truth, and for peace in your gates;
17 ௧௭ ஒருவனும் பிறனுக்கு விரோதமாகத் தன் இருதயத்தில் தீங்கு நினைக்காமலும், பொய் சத்தியத்தின்மேல் பிரியப்படாமலும் இருங்கள்; இவைகளெல்லாம் நான் வெறுக்கிற காரியங்கள் என்று யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறார்.
And meditate not evil against one another in your hearts, And love not a false oath! For all these are things which I hate, saith Jehovah.
And the word of Jehovah of hosts came to me, saying,
19 ௧௯ நான்காம் மாதத்தின் உபவாசமும், ஐந்தாம் மாதத்தின் உபவாசமும், ஏழாம் மாதத்தின் உபவாசமும், பத்தாம் மாதத்தின் உபவாசமும், யூதா வம்சத்தாருக்கு மகிழ்ச்சியாகவும் சந்தோஷமாகவும் நல்ல பண்டிகைகளாகவும் மாறிப்போகும்; ஆகையால் சத்தியத்தையும் சமாதானத்தையும் சிநேகியுங்கள் என்று சேனைகளின் யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறார்.
Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth month, And the fast of the seventh month, and the fast of the tenth month, Shall be to the house of Judah for joy and gladness, And cheerful festivals. But love ye truth and peace!
20 ௨0 இன்னும் மக்களும் அநேகம் பட்டணங்களின் குடிகளும் வருவார்கள் என்று சேனைகளின் யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறார்.
Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: It shall yet come to pass, that many nations shall come, And the inhabitants of many cities;
21 ௨௧ ஒரு பட்டணத்தின் குடிகள் மறுபட்டணத்தின் குடிகளிடத்தில் போய், நாம் யெகோவாவுடைய சமுகத்தில் விண்ணப்பம்செய்யவும் சேனைகளின் யெகோவாவை தேடவும், துரிதமாகப்போவோம் வாருங்கள்; நாங்களும் போவோம் என்று சொல்லுவார்கள்.
And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, “Let us go speedily to pray before Jehovah, And to seek Jehovah of hosts! I will go also!”
22 ௨௨ அநேக மக்களும் பலத்த ஜாதிகளும் எருசலேமிலே சேனைகளின் யெகோவாவை தேடவும், யெகோவாவுடைய சமுகத்தில் விண்ணப்பம் செய்யவும் வருவார்கள்.
Then shall come many nations and mighty kingdoms, To seek Jehovah of hosts in Jerusalem, And to pray before Jehovah.
23 ௨௩ அந்நாட்களில் பலவித மொழிகளைப் பேசுகிறவர்களாகிய அன்னியமக்களில் பத்து மனிதர்கள் ஒரு யூதனுடைய ஆடையின் தொங்கலைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு: தேவன் உங்களுடன் இருக்கிறார் என்று கேள்விப்பட்டோம்; ஆகையால் உங்களோடேகூடப் போவோம் என்று சொல்லி, அவனைப் பற்றிக்கொள்வார்கள் என்று சேனைகளின் யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறார் என்றார்.
Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: In those days shall ten men of all languages of the nations take hold, They shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, Saying, “We will go with you, For we have heard that God is with you.”
