ரோமர் 10
1 ௧ சகோதரர்களே, இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் இரட்சிக்கப்படவேண்டும் என்பதே என் இருதயத்தின் விருப்பமும் நான் தேவனிடம் செய்யும் விண்ணப்பமாகவும் இருக்கிறது.
Brothers, the pleasure indeed of my heart, and my supplication that [is] to God for Israel, is—for salvation;
2 ௨ தேவனைப்பற்றி அவர்களுக்கு வைராக்கியம் உண்டு என்று அவர்களைக்குறித்துச் சாட்சி சொல்லுகிறேன்; ஆனாலும் அது அறிவிற்குரிய வைராக்கியம் இல்லை.
for I bear them testimony that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge,
3 ௩ எப்படியென்றால், அவர்கள் தேவனுடைய நீதியை அறியாமல், தங்களுடைய சுயநீதியை நிலைநிறுத்தத் தேடுகிறதினால் தேவனுடைய நீதிக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியாமல் இருக்கிறார்கள்.
for not knowing the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not submit to the righteousness of God.
4 ௪ விசுவாசிக்கிற எவனுக்கும் நீதி உண்டாகும்படியாகக் கிறிஸ்து நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் முடிவாக இருக்கிறார்.
For Christ is an end of law for righteousness to everyone who is believing,
5 ௫ மோசே நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தினால் வரும் நீதியைக்குறித்து: இவைகளை செய்கிற மனிதன் இவைகளால் பிழைப்பான் என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறான்.
for Moses describes the righteousness that [is] of the Law, that, “The man who did them will live in them,”
6 ௬ விசுவாசத்தினால் வரும் நீதியானது: கிறிஸ்துவை இறங்கிவரப்பண்ணுவதற்காக பரலோகத்திற்கு ஏறுகிறவன் யார்?
and the righteousness of faith thus speaks: “You may not say in your heart, Who will go up to Heaven?” (that is, to bring Christ down)
7 ௭ அல்லது கிறிஸ்துவை மரித்தோரிலிருந்து ஏறிவரப்பண்ணுவதற்கு பாதாளத்திற்கு இறங்குகிறவன் யார்? என்று உன் உள்ளத்திலே சொல்லாமல் இருப்பாயாக என்று சொல்லுகிறதும் அல்லாமல்; (Abyssos g12)
or, “Who will go down to the abyss?” (that is, to bring up Christ out of the dead). (Abyssos g12)
8 ௮ இந்த வார்த்தை உன் அருகில் உன் வாயிலும் உன் இருதயத்திலும் இருக்கிறது என்றும் சொல்லுகிறது; இந்த வார்த்தை நாங்கள் பிரசங்கிக்கிற விசுவாசத்தின் வார்த்தையே.
But what does it say? “The saying is near you—in your mouth, and in your heart”: that is, the saying of the faith that we preach;
9 ௯ என்னவென்றால், கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவை நீ உன் வாயினாலே அறிக்கையிட்டு, தேவன் அவரை மரித்தோரிலிருந்து உயிரோடு எழுப்பினார் என்று உன் இருதயத்திலே விசுவாசித்தால் இரட்சிக்கப்படுவாய்.
that if you may confess with your mouth that Jesus [is] LORD, and may believe in your heart that God raised Him out of the dead, you will be saved,
10 ௧0 இருதயத்திலே விசுவாசிக்கிறதினால் நீதி உண்டாகும். வாயினாலே அறிக்கைபண்ணுகிறதினால் இரட்சிப்பு உண்டாகும்.
for with the heart [one] believes to righteousness, and with the mouth is confession made to salvation;
for the Writing says, “Everyone who is believing on Him will not be ashamed,”
12 ௧௨ யூதனென்றும் கிரேக்கனென்றும் வித்தியாசமே இல்லை; எல்லோருக்கும் கர்த்தரானவர் தம்மைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுகிற எல்லோரையும் அளவில்லாமல் ஆசீர்வதிக்கிறவராக இருக்கிறார்.
for there is no difference between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord of all [is] rich to all those calling on Him,
for “Everyone who, if he may have called on the Name of the LORD, will be saved.”
14 ௧௪ அவரை விசுவாசிக்காதவர்கள் எப்படி அவரைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுவார்கள்? அவரைக்குறித்துக் கேள்விப்படாதவர்கள் எப்படி விசுவாசிப்பார்கள்? பிரசங்கிக்கிறவன் இல்லாவிட்டால் எப்படிக் கேள்விப்படுவார்கள்?
How then will they call on [Him] in whom they did not believe? And how will they believe [on Him] of whom they did not hear? And how will they hear apart from one preaching?
15 ௧௫ அனுப்பப்படவில்லை என்றால் எப்படிப் பிரசங்கிப்பார்கள்? சமாதானத்தைச் சொல்லி, நல்ல காரியங்களை நற்செய்தியாக அறிவிக்கிறவர்களுடைய பாதங்கள் எவ்வளவு அழகானவைகள் என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறதே.
And how will they preach, if they may not be sent? According as it has been written: “How beautiful the feet of those proclaiming good tidings of peace, of those proclaiming good tidings of the good things!”
16 ௧௬ ஆனாலும் நற்செய்திக்கு அவர்கள் எல்லோரும் கீழ்ப்படியவில்லை. அதைக்குறித்து ஏசாயா: கர்த்தாவே, எங்கள் மூலமாகக் கேள்விப்பட்டதை விசுவாசித்தவன் யார் என்று சொல்லுகிறான்.
But they were not all obedient to the good tidings, for Isaiah says, “LORD, who gave credence to our report?”
So then faith [is] by a report, and the report through a saying of God,
18 ௧௮ இப்படியிருக்க, அவர்கள் கேள்விப்படவில்லையா என்று கேட்கிறேன்; கேள்விப்பட்டார்கள்; அவைகளின் சத்தம் பூமியெங்கும் அவைகளின் வசனங்கள் பூமியின் கடைசிவரைக்கும் செல்லுகிறதே.
but I say, did they not hear? Yes, indeed, “their voice went forth to all the earth, and their sayings to the ends of the habitable world.”
19 ௧௯ இஸ்ரவேலர் அதை அறியவில்லையா என்று கேட்கிறேன், அறிந்தார்கள். முதலாவது மோசே: என் மக்களாக இல்லாதவர்களைக் கொண்டு நான் உங்களுக்கு எரிச்சல் உண்டாக்குவேன்; புத்தியீனமுள்ள மக்களாலே உங்களுக்குக் கோபமூட்டுவேன்” என்றான்.
But I say, did Israel not know? First Moses says, “I will provoke you to jealousy by [that which is] not a nation, By an unintelligent nation I will anger you,”
20 ௨0 அல்லாமலும் ஏசாயா: என்னைத் தேடாதவர்களாலே கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டேன், என்னைக் கேட்காதவர்களுக்கு என்னை வெளிப்படுத்தினேன்” என்று தைரியத்தோடு சொல்லுகிறான்.
and Isaiah is very bold and says, “I was found by those not seeking Me; I became visible to those not inquiring after Me”;
21 ௨௧ இஸ்ரவேலரைக்குறித்தோ: “கீழ்ப்படியாதவர்களும் எதிர்த்துப் பேசுகிறவர்களுமாக இருக்கிற மக்களிடம் நாள்முழுவதும் என் கரங்களை நீட்டினேன்” என்று அவன் சொல்லியிருக்கிறான்.
and to Israel He says, “All the day I stretched out My hands to a people unbelieving and contradicting.”
