வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 16
1 ௧ அப்பொழுது தேவாலயத்திலிருந்து வந்த ஒரு பெரியசத்தம் அந்த ஏழு தூதர்களிடம்: நீங்கள் போய் ஏழு கலசங்களிலும் உள்ள தேவனுடைய கோபத்தை பூமியின்மேல் ஊற்றுங்கள் என்று சொல்வதைக்கேட்டேன்.
And I heard a loud voice out of the temple, saying to the seven angels, Go, and pour out the seven vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
2 ௨ முதலாம் தூதன் போய், தன் கலசத்தில் இருந்ததை பூமியின்மேல் ஊற்றினான்; உடனே மிருகத்தின் முத்திரையை அணிந்தவர்களும் அதின் உருவத்தை வணங்குகிற மனிதர்களுக்குப் பொல்லாத கொடிய புண்கள் உண்டானது.
And the first departed, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men who had the mark of the beast, and who worshipped his image.
3 ௩ இரண்டாம் தூதன் தன் கலசத்தில் உள்ளதைக் கடலிலே ஊற்றினான்; உடனே அது மரித்தவனுடைய இரத்தத்தைப்போலானது; கடலிலுள்ள பிராணிகளெல்லாம் மரித்துப்போயின.
And the second poured out his vial into the sea; and it became blood, as of a dead man, and every living thing died, that was in the sea.
4 ௪ மூன்றாம் தூதன் தன் கலசத்திலுள்ளதை ஆறுகளிலும், நீரூற்றுகளிலும் ஊற்றினான்; உடனே அவைகள் இரத்தமாக மாறியது.
And the third poured out his vial into the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
5 ௫ அப்பொழுது தண்ணீர்களின் தூதன்: இருக்கிறவரும் இருந்தவரும் பரிசுத்தருமாகிய தேவரீர் இப்படி நியாயந்தீர்க்க நீதியுள்ளவராக இருக்கிறீர்.
And I heard the angel of the waters saying, Righteous art thou, who art and wast holy, because thou hast judged thus;
6 ௬ அவர்கள் பரிசுத்தவான்களுடைய இரத்தத்தையும் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளுடைய இரத்தத்தையும் சிந்தினதினால், இரத்தத்தையே அவர்களுக்குக் குடிக்கக்கொடுத்தீர்; அதற்குத் தகுதியுடையவர்களாக இருக்கிறார்கள்” என்று சொல்வதைக்கேட்டேன்.
for they shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; they deserve it.
7 ௭ பலிபீடத்திலிருந்து வேறொருவன்: ஆம், சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, உம்முடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் சத்தியமும் நீதியுமானவைகள்” என்று சொல்வதைக்கேட்டேன்.
And I heard the altar saying, Even so, Lord God Almighty! true and righteous are thy judgments.
8 ௮ நான்காம் தூதன் தன் கலசத்தில் உள்ளதைச் சூரியன்மேல் ஊற்றினான்; தீயினால் மனிதர்களைச் சுடுவதற்கு அதற்கு அதிகாரம் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது.
And the fourth poured out his vial upon the sun; and it was given to it to scorch men with fire;
9 ௯ அப்பொழுது மனிதர்கள் அதிக வெப்பத்தினால் சுடப்பட்டு, இந்த வாதைகளைச் செய்ய அதிகாரமுள்ள தேவனுடைய நாமத்தை அவமதித்தார்களேதவிர, அவரை மகிமைப்படுத்த மனம்திரும்பவில்லை.
and men were scorched with great heat. And men blasphemed the name of God, who had the power over these plagues; and they repented not, to give him glory.
10 ௧0 ஐந்தாம் தூதன் தன் கலசத்திலுள்ளதை மிருகத்தினுடைய சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் ஊற்றினான்; அப்பொழுது அதின் ராஜ்யம் இருளடைந்தது; அவர்கள் வருத்தத்தினாலே தங்களுடைய நாக்குகளைக் கடித்துக்கொண்டு,
And the fifth poured out his vial upon the throne of the beast; and his kingdom became darkened; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11 ௧௧ தங்களுடைய வருத்தங்களாலும், தங்களுடைய புண்களாலும், பரலோகத்தின் தேவனை அவமதித்தார்களேதவிர, தங்களுடைய செய்கைகளைவிட்டு மனம்திரும்பவில்லை.
and blasphemed the God of heaven, because of their pains and because of their sores; and they repented not of their deeds.
12 ௧௨ ஆறாம் தூதன் தன் கலசத்தில் உள்ளதை ஐபிராத்து என்னும் பெரிய நதியில் ஊற்றினான்; அப்பொழுது சூரியன் உதிக்கும் திசையிலிருந்து வரும் ராஜாக்களுக்கு வழி ஆயத்தமாகும்படி அந்த நதியின் தண்ணீர் வற்றிப்போனது.
And the sixth poured out his vial upon the great river, the Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings who are from the rising of the sun might be prepared.
13 ௧௩ அப்பொழுது, இராட்சசப் பாம்பின் வாயிலும் மிருகத்தின் வாயிலும் கள்ளத்தீர்க்கதரிசியின் வாயிலும் இருந்து தவளைகளைப்போல மூன்று அசுத்தஆவிகள் புறப்பட்டு வருவதைப் பார்த்தேன்.
And I saw come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs;
14 ௧௪ அவைகள் அற்புதங்களைச் செய்கிற பிசாசுகளின் ஆவிகள்; அவைகள் பூலோகமெங்கும் உள்ள ராஜாக்களை சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவனுடைய மகாநாளில் நடக்கும் யுத்தத்திற்குக் கூட்டிச்சேர்க்கும்படி புறப்பட்டுப்போகிறது.
for they are the spirits of demons, working signs, which go forth to the kings of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God l Almighty.
15 ௧௫ இதோ, திருடனைப்போல வருகிறேன். தன் மானம் தெரியும்படி நிர்வாணமாக நடக்காமல் விழித்துக்கொண்டு, தன் உடைகளைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளுகிறவன் பாக்கியவான்.
Behold, I come as a thief; blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, that he may not walk naked, and his shame be seen.
And he gathered them together into the place called in the Hebrew tongue, Harmegedon.
17 ௧௭ ஏழாம் தூதன் தன் கலசத்தில் உள்ளதை ஆகாயத்தில் ஊற்றினான்; அப்பொழுது பரலோகத்தின் ஆலயத்திலுள்ள சிங்காசனத்திலிருந்து வந்த பெரிய சத்தம் அது செய்துமுடிக்கப்பட்டது என்று சொன்னது.
And the seventh poured out his vial upon the air; and there came forth a loud voice from the temple, from the throne, saying, It is done.
18 ௧௮ சத்தங்களும் இடிமுழக்கங்களும் மின்னல்களும் உண்டானது; பூமி மிகவும் அதிர்ந்தது, பூமியின்மேல் மனிதர்கள் உண்டான நாளிலிருந்து அப்படிப்பட்ட பெரிய அதிர்ச்சி உண்டானது இல்லை.
And there followed lightnings, and voices, and thunders, and there was a great earthquake, such as there was not since there was a man upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.
19 ௧௯ அப்பொழுது மகா நகரம் மூன்று பங்காகப் பிரிக்கப்பட்டது, யூதரல்லாதவர்களுடைய பட்டணங்கள் விழுந்தன. மகா பாபிலோனுக்கு தேவனுடைய கடுமையான கோபத்தின் தண்டனையாகிய மதுவுள்ள பாத்திரத்தைக் கொடுக்கும்படி அது அவருக்கு முன்பாக ஞாபகப்படுத்தப்பட்டது.
And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell; and Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
And every island fled away, and no mountains were found;
21 ௨௧ நாற்பது கிலோ எடையுள்ள பெரிய கல்மழையும் வானத்திலிருந்து மனிதர்கள்மேல் விழுந்தது; அந்தக் கல்மழையினால் உண்டான வாதையினால் மனிதர்கள் தேவனை அவமதித்தார்கள்; அந்த வாதை மகா கொடியதாக இருந்தது.
and there came down from heaven upon men a great storm of hail, every stone weighing about a talent; and men blasphemed God on account of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
